That's God's job and He does it quite well....when He feels they are ready to handle it.
(study scripture...so you will be aware that God controls individual understanding of His word)
How do you decide which scripture applies to you and which don't?

You tell that to Acts 2;38, et al....search...there are several.
Yes there are several . The word "baptize" does not mean (with water) . And neither does the word in the "name" mean (with water). The word of God must be rightfully divided .Every word must be looked at carefully as to its use.

Acts2: 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Baptize means to "wash or purify" . It took the work of the Spirit to wash away our sin . (not a cloudy day to perform his will )

Baptism is work of God working in us to both will and do His good pleasure . In the "name" meaning in the unseen power .The power of faith. He purifies our new hearts by faith .Faith is the key it does the work of washing away .

Acts 15:8-10 King James Version (KJV And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, (not a rain shower) even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Maybe u r referring to the meaning in the OT not the NT. Study it. Baptism in NT has a different meaning than in the OT.
Let me know if you need help. A important point.
We must keep scriptural meaning in context.

You mean to say God himself will tell you which apply and which don’t?

Your words...not mine.
God says He will determine when to reveal. ..."some things are reserved for our Father's knowledge only"........&........"in due time it hall be revealed".
Very clear to me.

This is a new way to harass.
Do search...you obviously have a computer.....let me know if you can't find them.
If you don't now how to search...this is a good time to learn.
You are funny.

If you cannot name the scripture passage, it shows how interested you are in this discussion anyway.

I do know how to search, and I know that your alleged quotations aren't in the KJV. You claim that you "only follow 1611 KJV". Then you use quotations to set off phrases that do not appear in the KJV at all, but which are "very clear" to you. You finish with insulting implications about Guojing.

Methinks you need to take your attitude to the cleaners, and get some integrity on the way home.

I would think the 1611 KJV.
To Baptize is to wash or purify . As a metaphor blood or water is used together to demonstrate the unseen work of Christ faith .

John 3:25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.

They in John 3 were inquiring as to why a person from the tribe of Judah was usurping the law from the tribe of Levi.

In ceremonial laws types as shadows. Water is used as a demonstration to the world the work of God . It was set up in the Levitical order and passed on the new testament order where all the nations, men and women make up the kingdom of priest sent as apostles with the gospel .

When Aaron's two sons announced they had a desire, during the demonstration to the world they added what is call strange fire (personal touch) . in order, in pride to personalize it as a way of self edification . They were consume by fiery judgment of God . . while the priestly garments suffered no loss.

Jesus fulfilled the promise of coming after the manner of Melchedik put a end to the old order or shadow ,

Water baptism to day is a continuation of the old testament ceremonial law .

It does not confirm as a personal outward sign a persons sin has been omitted . That work or demonstration is attributed to the Son of man, Jesus . He alone knew no sin.

Water represents the purifying work of the Spirit .But H20 does not perform it. It evaporates .The Holy Spirit cannot evaporate.

The purifying baptism of the Holy Spirit below. Not perform with human hand .A work of Christ's faith working in us, We walk by that faith .The light of our path

Acts 15:8-9 King James Version (KJV) And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Interested?....where did you search? Major lack of concern for correctness on your part.
You have spent more time on these posts than it would take for you to find the references.....that's telling.

Since you take the time to type this post, ever thought of just stating the Scripture reference?

Others have already spelt out to you that your earlier quotations are not found in scripture.

Actually, the word in Greek only meant "to immerse". It did not mean to "wash" or to "purify". When Peter said repent and be baptized, he said to repent and be immersed. The word "baptized" was a made up word, taken from baptizo.
To the Jews of that day, "baptizo" had only ONE meaning.... to be immersed in water. Any other "definition" of the word is simply trying to make the original word say what YOU want it to say.

Paul immediately arose and was baptized.... immersed. The eunuch was baptized... immersed.. in the water they came upon while riding in his chariot. All of Cornelius' household were baptized... immersed, once the Jews saw they had received the Spirit.

The only other useage of that word was sometimes people used it to describe how pickles were made... by immersing them in vinegar.
It's still IMMERSION...... not a washing, or a purifying.

I still don't get all the "shadows" you continuously talk about.... Peter's message was very plain... very simple.... repent and be immersed....

Jesus did not tell the apostles to go into all the world and purify or wash people.... he said to IMMERSE them in the name of the Father, Son, and Spirit.
