Why did the people let this happen?
Why did not the people rise up and say no?
Would never happen in my neighborhood.
Spineless people get what they deserve.
So what would you have the people do? Start a war with the government?

The problem in South Africa is there are to many classes and education is not what it should be. Corruption is normal and the amounts that are getting stolen is mind blowing. The fact of the matter is people are promised change. They fear history and now we are caught in this vicious circle of Africa where yo have incompetent, corrupt leaders that are "buying" voters through empty promises.

Just the other day our government told the people that Covid was partly as a result of appartheid (which stopped in 1995). So in doing this they are blaming the white minority for Covid 19, 25 years later.

@PC123

My condolences ,man. This is all terrible. Praying every day. Maybe God will have mercy on us.
Are you familiar with this?

https://www.legislation.sa.gov.au/LZ/C/A/COVID-19 EMERGENCY RESPONSE ACT 2020.aspx

25A—Removal of children

(1) Without derogating from section 25, an authorised officer may, for the purpose of ensuring compliance with any direction under that section, remove a child from any premises, place, vehicle or vessel to a place of residence of the child or to a hospital or quarantine facility, as the authorised officer thinks fit (and may, in doing so, use such force as is reasonably necessary).

(2) In this section— child means a person under 18 years of age; place of residence includes, in the case of a child who is in the custody, or under the guardianship, of the Chief Executive under the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017, any place directed by that Chief Executive.

Most people don't even know this is happening. The media hides the facts. Other people are weak...
The minority of us can only really protest... September 5 is the next one

I find that people who give their enemies so much power over them are the ones who like to lay blame the most. It a virus, not a conspiracy.

like it or not, every country, state, city, workplace has a way of governing. They are all just doing what they can to stop people from dying. since nobody REALLY knows what they are doing since this virus has never had an outbreak so widespread before, is taking precautions. I dont think ANYONE really knows every single solution on how to get rid of this virus from the population. if YOU already know all the answers, then why dont you try stopping it?

i would say if you are a small business and your landlord is making you pay full rent while you cant open your business is to report your landlord to the ministries. They need to give you a rent break cos they are profiting while you cant even open. and they can afford to take a hit. all those who earn ten times as much as someone on an ordinary wage ought to have same compassion.

I dont call that communism. I call that common sense.

I see your crazy Dan and will raise you a more incompetent South African government.
Haha ok...
We started March 13 and declared state of emergency so parliament is closed and these laws are brought in by dictator Dan
Im not sure of the political situation in South Africa. Its already authoritarian so u have a huge advantage...
If it is already a dictatorship then u already win... LoL

1/ Same
2/ Same but we can exercise. 1 hour only
3/ Same
4/ Same
5/ We can exercise 1 hour out of home
6/ Alcohol and smokes were always there
7/ Our Army has been deployed as well

So not much difference. Our curfew, 5km limit and 1 hour limits make up the difference...

1/ Same
2/ Same
3/ Same
4/ Schools and churches still closed, not word of any plan to reopen
5/ We are currently level 4 lockdown

I still reckon Dan holds the crown. Lets look at the numbers to find who has the most justification...
Our state has had less than 500 covid deaths and has a population of under 6.4 mil... 1 death per 12,800
South Africa is almost 58 million and has had almost 14,000 covid deaths... 1 death per 4,100

Two questions
1/ Did your government bring in these laws democratically? If so then Dan still holds the crown...
2/ Can u leave your country? If u can escape then Dan would still be the champ...

So while i think South Africa was probably most authoritarian to begin with i think our covid response has been more authoritarian given all the details...

I see your crazy Dan and will raise you a more incompetent South African government.

Lockdown started 23 March (if I remember correctly) and it was total lockdown. Meaning:
1) No business was allowed to open its doors during this time and we had to stay at home.
2) You were not allowed outside your home unless you were going to the shop to buy the essentials.
3) Wearing a mask is compulsory no matter where you go.
4) You could not do exercise outside your home. Technically you were not even allowed to walk the streets of South Africa. People got arrested for walking on the beaches even if they were the only ones there
5) No alcohol or cigarettes' were sold until recently (we are in August now).
6) They could not apply these rules in the townships so for them it was one long holiday... but millions are losing their income as a result.
7) The SA army was deployed as if we are in a warzone.

The aftermath of what these idiots did is:

1) Restaurants couldn't keep going because they couldn't open their doors for at least two months.
2) The ones that made it are struggling now if they have crazy landlords that is not accommodating with payment holidays for rent.
3) People lost their livelihoods over night.
4) Schools are slowly opening now and in some cases it is now the new normal to think you will have to redo 2020 in 2021. Fortunately sanity is prevailing in some schools and they are making an effort to catch up.
5) We are still in lockdown level 2 and not everything is back to normal.

While I am complaining there were some good stuff also happening during lockdown:

1) No traffic. Eerie as that may sound there were no vehicles on the road and if you had to drive somewhere it was a breeze.
2) Family time was awesome. We caught up with each other and God during this time.

Dan seems a bit out of the norm, but he is not a patch to the loons running South Africa, and the bigger loons voting for them.
I was just pondering about evil...
- The fact that our government still allowed cigarettes and alcohol to be sold as essential items is not a good thing...
On the contrary its a sign of evil, pure evil...
- An essential service here are injecting homes... Places provided by the government for people to inject heroin, cocaine, speed, etc...
Another sign of evil...
- Treatments for covid have been banned, not even for emergency use... Evil
- Our right to go church has been gone since March. Only 10 people are allowed at a funeral. Ive missed 2... Evil

And just worldwide i see this new division that has suddenly been created and being played out so quickly and aggressively
Like a blitzkrieg attack... This can only be the work of the evil...
Causing division is one of his main objectives and using fear is one of his favourite tools

But for now... It looks like the title of most totalitarian lockdows in the west is retained by...

Im not too sure what the political situation is in NZ and their SoE laws.
What we are calling communist is the disintegration of parliament and the democratic system used to pass new bills and laws...
Eg - A law only gets passed if it is approved by the senate... Now laws are being passed through without any approval
Thats how a communist political system runs... There is only one party and they make the rules

Yes the removal of children is allowed by authorities... Anything is allowed in the name of covid...

But is South Australia in a state of emergency now as well... I know Tasmania is... And this is what i thought would happen...
All the other states will follow this path to tyranny that Daniel has carved out... And there are hardly no cases there either

Lol. You win. I think South Africa has pretty much been written off by all as a land of freedom, and is simply becoming another third world country among many. I think the only hope South Africa has is the non-communist people left banding together and forming their own country. Let the rest live in the slum they have created (with the support of the other corrupt nations).

.
YES!
If people will not stand up for their rights, there will always be the few that will take those rights from you.
People need to remember that there are more of us that them.
When anyone tries to take my freedom away I will fight and if necessary die.

LIVE FREE OR DIE is my attitude.

Really, what the government has done is already an act of war. If the people do anything, it would only be a retaliation, as war is already in progress.

Just the other day our government told the people that Covid was partly as a result of appartheid (which stopped in 1995). So in doing this they are blaming the white minority for Covid 19, 25 years later.
Lol. You never know. According to government-sponsored "scientists" (and I use this term in the loosest possible sense), coronavirus doesn't attend BLM protests - only all other protests. :) Maybe it's the world's first communist virus?

It a virus, not a conspiracy.
The conspiracy is that there is no virus, and even if there was a virus, the measures taken have no place in law. They have not passed through parliament. The government is breaking it's own laws.

like it or not, every country, state, city, workplace has a way of governing. They are all just doing what they can to stop people from dying.
Stopping people from dying is not the government's job, and never has been, else they will fail at it. God decreed to Adam that he would die, and until Jesus returns, we will continue to die. The government's job is upholding justice, and they have failed at the only job they had that mattered, by breaking their own laws.

since nobody REALLY knows what they are doing since this virus has never had an outbreak so widespread before, is taking precautions.
No virus. The RTPCR tests are testing for genetic material. That's why when the president of Tanzania had vegetables and animals tested, these also returned positive results.

I dont think ANYONE really knows every single solution on how to get rid of this virus from the population. if YOU already know all the answers, then why dont you try stopping it?
There is no virus. This is the reason most doctors and people speaking out against the non-science are being censored from mainstream news. The answer is that there is no virus, and nothing needs to be done, except arrest and put on trial the Communists involved in this conspiracy.

Oh... We have a challenger... Hello again my friend... LoL...
I have been making the claim that the state of Victoria holds the title for most totalitarian in the western world...
New Zealand held the title early on but then our state took the title...
South Africa is overlooked by the other English speaking countries but its is culturally western...

Ok so our most strictest and senseless restrictions are
- Curfew from 8pm to 6am
- Cannot travel more than 5kms from home
- Cannot have visitors or visit anyone
- Must wear a mask when u leave home
- Can only leave home for 1 hour per day for exercise or buy food
- Cannot go fishing solo
- Cannot go golfing solo
- Cannot go swimming solo
- Cannot leave the city, state or country
- Cannot go for a drive without a valid reason; exercise or shopping
- Fines up to $1,600 for individuals and $10,000 for businesses that don't obey the rules. Being heavily enforced

There are heaps more but their the most extreme. And to put it into context we've only had 583 deaths with covid
So that's my case... Can u beat that???

This is a total lock down and Marshall Law. The Queen did say, that we will meet again. Maybe you could write the Queen and tell her about the situation?!?!

I think the cure for Communism/Fascism is justice. Comrade Dan needs to be booted out of office first (one way or another), and then put on trial for crimes against humanity. I would like to see him hang for what he has done, if convicted. There is a precedent for this, as the Nazis were hanged after the Nuremburg trials despite them having legalised all their human rights abuses before committing them. Then - all Dictator Dan's cronies - lying media people, government doctors, officials, politicians, police - everyone who followed illegal orders by beating civilians for not wearing masks, issuing illegal fines, imposing laws that did not pass through parliament, faking science, committing murder by preventing emergency hospital access - all these people rounded up, and put on trial. For severe cases of treason, these people also should be hanged. For less severe injustices, such people should be jailed for an appropriate period of time matching their crimes. The criminal convictions will allow the victims - those wrongfully imprisoned, fined, beaten etc. to sue the convicted, and the convicted should pay tenfold what damage they caused. Where criminals used the power of law to conduct their crimes, this penalty should be increased to perhaps one-hundredfold (e.g. police arresting/fining people for not wearing masks - a policeman issuing fines of $100 should be liable for penalties up to $10000, as he didn't just steal the money - he did it under the colour of law).

Then the state should sue such people and their foundations, trusts etc. should be confiscated (if the people are found guilty), and sold to compensate the state for the phoney virus-hoax. Banks and lenders providing loans to the government for the scamdemic should not be paid back - rather, those convicted of treason should be handed over to the banks and lenders, for such to extract any remaining monies owing. This will also send a message to international monetary funds, that illegal loans will not be borne by taxpayers, but only by the perpetrators of the fraud.

Oh. And obviously, all stupid laws pupporting to allow "emergency" overrides of the lawful process - should be repealed forthwith, never to be instituted again, on pain of death.
This will all be over with once we have a competent adult in office. Ignoring a problem, or pretending that it doesn't exist is never the answer...

It is sad and shocking to hear this, but don't forget that Australians kept voting for Leftists to begin with. It is looking more and more like this will happen all over the Western world. Absolutely no politicians who are in office are crying out for a halt to Covid Fascism and a return to conditions before January 1. As to a thorough investigation into the Wuhan Virus Conspiracy, that will probably never happen.
I don't think we should look at Australia as one country with one form of election of government.

The OP pertains to Victoria. Victoria is in the south east of Australia and has a parliamentary constitutional monarchy in place.

That is so good to hear Lanolin. We received the same from our Gov. and the Trumpists
put the money in their pockets and went about their business with ridiculing the people that made this happen. I told them that in retaliation of the Dems. They should return
the money to the Government being as their president was against this.

Yes it sure does seem that way. I don't follow the news all that closely. Neither do I take too seriously what opposition leaders say either for alit of what I've heard of late when listening to 3AW is politicians slamming each other for points.
I gladly admit it could be nieve of me, but I'm willing to give Andrews that benefit of the doubt when the media wants to start throwing out words like dictatorship. I doubt that's what is going through his mind, any government knows that people is a nation's main asset and if people are not working and business is not running there's less money for the nation and no nation wants that (unless there's some underlying power that wants to overthrow current political systems, which I hear conspiracy theorists talk about) I'll admit my error when that day comes.
As I said, state of emergency and disaster has been in place to premiers before Andrews, it wasn't something his government invented and put on us. Does the extension has to be approved? And I think I remember hearing on 3AW the other day from some politician who was trying to bring facts to this hysteria that it's reviewed every 4 weeks? I could be wrong and thinking of something else.

We shall wait for the judicial inquiry too. You can't please all the people, if Andrews did less, the question would be why didn't you declare state of emergency powers? Just like the question, why wasn't the ADF brought in sooner? Some people will see the ADF a force against the people and a threat, while others will see it as safety but those who see it as safety question, why not sooner?

And yes, Pakenham is still thriving
so let me take a wild guess, you go to a Hillsong type church, correct?
