Churches seem to get big money for turning their towers into celltowers.

What are your thoughts on this corruption and how should it be stopped? A church should be a bastion of light, not radiation. I can share pictures of local catholic churches turned into celltowers.
But I would not know how to share them. Yet this worries me because they are in residential places where flats on on equal height then the church.

I'm actually really curious what you mean by a church being turned into a cell phone tower. If you have pictures, above the comment box is a toolbar. If you select the little icon that looks like a picture frame you can add your pictures.

That's interesting. If that is what OP is talking about then that just looks like a business move, not something that necessarily distracts from the overall functions and mission of the church.

I hoped I was clear? They are turning the towers of catholic churches into celltowers. They hang on the devices to cause electromagnetic radiation so people have connection on their phones.

Not sure those are 4G or 5G, but you can clearly see the devices added on churches that are used on cell towers too.

How can a church whore herself out like that?

I don't know. I personally don't think it's a big deal. Maybe write them a letter and see what they say. I want to hear why they are doing it.

It’s quite clear what they are doing. I can rent out my roof for a cell mast too. It would give me 10k per month extra.

When a church is emitting electromagnetic radiation, it is very very bad. Electromagnetic radiation is proven to be toxic for the health. No matter what our politicians may say about it.
Even frequencies below the rate of 4G have been linked to cause cell damage.

Would you also describe it as "whoring" if a building let a utility service put solar panels on their roof, for a fair compensation?

Really, it's that easy?
And that profitable?

That would more than pay for the whole price of many houses in less than a year

Why isn't everyone doing it?
They can put 3 on my roof I will retire from working forever, support my parents and children and many foster children for doing nothing. What a great idea. I could feed 100 homeless all year with that kind of free money.

My feelings are that the church consists of the people and the building is where they meet. I actually have seen very few church buildings with towers but what you have described sounds like a good use for creating revenue streams that can be used to provide for the church members and the community. Doesn't seem like corruption at all to me but rather a shrewd way to bring in extra money.

It is after all just a building. I see nothing wrong with that.

Look at it through faith and not your worldly assumptions. It’s selling their space for money because they have no visitors anymore. Putting the entire neighbourhood under emf which cause damage to cells.

A church should save lives, not harm.

Depends on your location and how big your roof is . A church renting her tower out for EMF might go over 10K a year.

EDIT: It’s up to 10K per year and not month. Sorry my bad.....

I don’t deal with my feelings here. EMF is harmful to our cells and churches renting out space for EMF installations are not taking care of their flock.
Catholic churches are basicly empty in Belgium so they whore themselves out. When a church is not used for prayer but for EMF; something is wrong Tourist. I hoped I would not need to explain that.

Our children are still growing and our daughters are born with every egg cell. Radiation of EMF is damaging that. Problems on long term should not be painted out I hope. Braincancers and very rare tumors are already going up.

Hundreds of doctors have combined their research and link EMF definitly to cancer and other damage to cells. Emfscientist.org. It was in that movie of a concerned doctor, if we’d only take the time to evaluate our feelings with the facts we all might see the same problem here....

Yes if that building was there to guide people in life on every aspect in their life. Specially health and the work of the cross.

You can not put on a cross and below it devices that hurt the surrounding area, just to get some money.

Do we really not see the problem here as servants of our Lord?

What you have said may be true about possible harmful effects of EMF radiation but that really has nothing to do about a church 'whoring' itself out. The church is the people, a building is a building. The air is filled with all sorts of radio waves from various sources, and while they may be harmful they are not going away anytime soon.

It’s not what I am saying, it’s what doctors their research combined is saying from what I have seen. Still radio waves are naturally there. EMF is caused by mankind and gets on higher frequencies each generation it progresses. When will enough be enough?

You may not see that as whoring themselves out. I still see no good in it and an extreme bad example of what should be a house of God.
And the sad thing is you are right too, they are not going away anytime soon. It will grow more, more, more and some more. Even from space in the near future.

Zap!

Check out Mystery Babylon.
Yes scripture is very depictive about that and I knew instantly what I was reading first time I read it. It spoke so vividly to me in Revalations. We can’t stop this.... other then bending the knees, folding hands and bow our head to God: His will be done.

Still, tomorrow I bump into the next case, making me worry the next thing lol

Look at it through faith and not your worldly assumptions.
And this is where you lost my interest. Talking crap and throwing out accusations because people don't immediately agree with you. Because you disrespected them you disrespected yourself and your message.
Also most on this site are against the Catholic churches teachings and therefore don't view the Catholic church as a beacon of light to save souls. Quite the opposite is believed here, actually.
