I believe that these verses pertain mostly to salvation being sealed by God. Regarding the plague of torment of 5 months duration only those who have received the mark of the beast will be in torment. The tribulation lasts for 7 years and there is no mention in Revelation of a sealed church that does not experience it. It is obviously that the church is not protected during this period as those that refuse the mark will be put to death.

The problem is the wrath of God coming on the earth.. its the whole earth. Lot "as long as you are here I can do nothing". Lot could go and hide. But whats coming is on the whole earth and all in it. There is no place to hide.

Chester the danger is when a person with a pre-determined bias uses (One Verse) out of context to build false doctrine, the cults are prime examples of this

Example: Dispensationalism claims 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 is a Pre-Trib rapture, then a 7 year tribulation on earth follows?
