1. Jesus Christ is the source of all blessings.
2. The Cross is the means by which all blessings are given.
3. The object of our faith must be Christ and the Cross.
4. That being done, the Holy Spirit will greatly help us.
1. True.
2. False; many blessings are simply the result of God's creation.
3. False; our faith is to be in the Person and finished work of Jesus Christ.
4. False; the Holy Spirit helps us because of our faith in Jesus Christ.

strip yourself, mentally (human conditioning, traditions, organised religion, family values which dont coincide with Godly values) Spiritually, there is one God and one word, read it, study it and remove any unsound doctrine you have been taught) and for some of us, physically, to remind us that we are not of this world but vessels of the Holy Spirit, wrapping ourselves in filthy rags like the world is not the right path to heaven and a correct relationship with God and Jesus Christ.

When the Preacher or Teacher points every jot and tittle of the Word of God to Calvary the Word of God becomes alive with POWER; Why? Because the life is in the BLOOD. Without the BLOOD, the Word means nothing (1 Cor.1:18, Lev. 17:11, Gal. 5:4). Therefore, preaching and teaching Christ Crucified, the Word becomes alive with Power:

Hebrews 4:12

“For the Word of God is quick (alive), and powerful (active, energizing), and sharper than any two-edged sword (refers to the ability of the Word of God to “probe”), piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow (doesn’t mean the dividing asunder of soul from spirit or joints from marrow, but rather that the Word of God pierces the soul and the spirit, adequately proclaiming what man ought to be and can only be in Christ; as well, the Word of God portrays to us the Holy Spirit and His Power, and proclaims the fact that He Alone can “quicken our mortal bodies” [Rom. 8:11], which refers to giving us power to yield this physical body to that which is Righteous [Rom. 6:12-13]), and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (carries the idea of “sifting out and analyzing evidence”).

If the Word doesn't point to Calvary it has no power (a form of godliness - denying the TRUE POWER). Matthew 7:14, John 15:5
Hey @MessageOfTheCross,

The same Blood of Jesus Christ that flows from the Cross at Calvary also flows from the Mercy Seat of God in the Holy of Holies....... the Blood of Jesus tore the veil so we could enter and access the Mercy Seat and commune with God in His Presence.

It’s time to come into deeper revelation intimacy with God...

The Cross bids us to go into the Holy of Holies to commune with God at the Mercy Seat... if we stay at the cross, we won’t grow and mature in Christ...... there’s MORE God wants to give us!(y)

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Gal. 2:21

The world was over 4,000 years old when Christ went to the cross. Did God condemn all the people who lived before the cross to death? Was it futile to use the blood of animals to symbolize the blood given on the cross for forgiveness of sin? Do Moses and David live with the Lord?
ABRAHAM

The Jewish people had their beginning with Abraham. God called this man out of Ur of the Chaldees, which is modern day Iraq. It is amazing, as given to us in the Word of God, as to the number of Biblical things that have had, and do have, eternal consequences, which had their beginnings in Iraq. In the Bible, this area is referred to as Babylon, Babylonia, the Chaldees, Assyria, or Mesopotamia. Actually, the city of Babylon is mentioned more times in the Bible than any other city, with the exception of Jerusalem. The following might be of some interest:

● It is believed by some Bible scholars that the Garden of Eden was located where Babylon would later be built.

● Adam and Eve were created in Iraq.

● The first worship of the Lord took place in the Garden of Eden, which is in modern day Iraq.

● The first temptation occurred in Iraq.

● The terrible “Fall” occurred in Iraq.

● The Voice of the Lord was first heard in Iraq.

● The first sacrifices were offered in Iraq.

● The first recorded obedience of the Sacrificial Offerings, as it regarded Abel, took place in Iraq.

● The first refusal of God’s Way, which was by virtue of the slain lamb, and carried out by Cain, took place in Iraq.

● The first murder took place in Iraq, with Cain killing his brother Abel.

● It is believed that Noah’s Ark was built in Iraq.

● It was the Babylonian Empire, located in Iraq, which destroyed Judah and Jerusalem.

● The Book of Daniel in the Bible was written in Iraq.

● It is believed that the Antichrist will make his headquarters in Iraq.

● Incidentally, Iraq is the site of the first organized rebellion against God, as it regarded building the Tower of Babel.

● As well, the various languages of the world, instituted by the Lord, took place in Iraq.

● In one sense of the word, it all began in Iraq, and it all will end in Iraq.”
