I honestly don’t know, but from my mom’s experience in being a bible study group at our church, they were saying how “Out loud” is the best way and were basically making people do “Out loud” prayers, which my mom isn’t comfortable with, so she actually left that group because of how seriously they were taking “Out loud prayers”.

I can ask her later for clarification, since I’m going off memory, but I think if you have someone leave a bible study group because of the “stressing how important out loud is”, I don’t think that is right.

I'm sure God doesn't care either way as long as we do it, as long as we are not doing it to show-off. Out in my yard, I have prayed out loud many times and did get answers and blessings. I recently heard of some people writing out prayers. However, I think the solitude and humbling of oneself on our knees in whatever our 'prayer closet' might be, is the ideal way to worship our Lord:).

You have out loud and then you have 'for crying out loud'.

I always say my morning prayers before going to work on my knees but I talk to God all day long like and actual conversation but this is done silently.

This is interesting as most of my prayers to God are through my thoughts Cox I am constantly talking to God about stuff. He hears then just the same as though they when spoken out loud.So whatever you feel suits your method of self expression to God is ultimately what matters most.😊

Not audibly but yes, occasionally as I can sometimes catch His response in my thoughts. Usually he says, while I am working, that I should do this or do that, or treat this person good, or don't let that person bother me. While I'm at work I consider God to be my employer and God is always encouraging me to do my best and go the extra mile. Sometimes He cuts me a little slack too but not too often.

Yes what's so awesome about it is that God never gets tired or bored..we have his full attention. Also many times praying through out thoughts can make it easier to express oneself in much deeper ways sometimes like deep footed fears, concerns coz you can get in touch with the real you..
I would get a jaw ache permanently if I prayed our loud to God in the same measure and depth that I pray to him in my thought life.😊
