2 Timothy 1:15 - This you know, that all those in Asia have turned away from me, among whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

Why did the Seven Churches in Asia in the Book of Revelations turn away from the Apostle Paul? What was the turning away led by Phygellus and Hermogenes?

As we are living in a great time of deception, this is a very important topic!

ALL in Asia had actually turned away from Paul (2 Timothy 1:15), and the Message which he preached unto them. The Way of The Cross never becomes a comfortable Way, but it is God’s only Way!

Once we stop seeing every Chapter and ever Verse of Scripture through the Cross of Jesus Christ, we are no longer seeing with the eyes of Biblical Faith. Every Word of God is “In Righteousness” (Proverbs 8:8), but God’s Righteousness is only revealed in the Gospel to those who go from faith to faith in the Gospel (Romans 1:16-17). This Righteousness is only imparted as the initial and secure position In Christ at the Born Again experience, and as fruit daily as our faith stands in the Cross of Christ alone (2 Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 2:20-21). We can talk about the blood of Jesus all day long, but faith does NOT come by speaking, but rather by hearing (Romans 10:17), and it is only when man believes with His heart unto THAT Righteousness (What Christ did at Calvary), that God honors THAT FAITH (Galatians 2:20) with Grace and Fruit!

This is not the simplicity in Christ. All you seem to be doing is explaining Lordship salvation in as flowery terms as possible.

Actually, all he does is parrot the teaching of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries (JSM). Swaggart is aberrant in his own right.

Without your trust and faith placed in Christ and the Cross, GRACE STOPS IMMEDIATELY (the Help of the Holy Spirit) Romans 8:2, Gal. 2:20-21! Why do think that there are just as many divorces in the Church than the world? Please don't allow the intrusion of man's point of view to enter into your life and home! 1 Cor. 1:17-19, 1 Cor. 2:2

Remember, God said on purpose, intentionally, He makes the wisdom of this world look foolish! Without faith in Christ and Him Crucified, everything you do, and everything you own, will become a hindrance unto you - guaranteed. It will not prosper!

Matthew 7:21-23:
I never knew you mean that regardless of their religious activity, Christian disciplines, and lip service, they had no personal relationship with Him (the Believer must enter into sanctification to bear the fruit of Righteousness or that branch is cast into the fire). As I stated over and over, many Christians are proclaiming Christ while forsaking the Cross (Grace has stopped because of a form of godliness). Spiritual Adultery is a serious sin.

Bible study: Question for anyone?

Why did Jesus tell these people who thought they were Christians at the Great White Throne Judgement that their works in His Name are iniquity? The scripture says that they did what the scripture was telling them to do in Jesus's name. But it was judged as iniquity; why? Something is wrong, despite their zeal.

Have we not _______ in Your Name? and in Your Name have ______? and in Your Name done many wonderful works?

What is the will of the Father?

Finally, why is His Way narrow and only a few find it? Matthew 7:13-14

They were warned having left their first love hearing the understanding of God that worked in them . It hearing the voice of God empowered them turning them to do the first work of God, that worked in them. Beleive God.

How does God The Holy Spirit work in a Believer?

How does God The Holy Spirit work in a Believer?
The work of the faith of God. Christ's faith working in us to both will and empower us to perform the good pleasure of God. We understand or believe by His faithfulness . Not that of our ourselves. He makes the burden lighter giving us rest from doing the work alone . We could never begin the work of salvation with our own or end it . He is the just and justifier.

But how does God The Holy Spirit work and does His good pleasure both to will and to do in a Believer?

THAT IS A LIE! There is ABSOLUTELY NO BIBLICAL SUPPORT for that statement, and the verses cited say NOTHING of the sort.

Please STOP posting unbiblical garbage, pretending it to be sound exegesis.

I am inclined to agree, I don't understand the leap.

Depart from me I never knew you is a very serious verse for me, but this is the first time I've used it to say that this is in the present as "soon as".

The Miracle of God’s Word

Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

We as the Church and the Body of The Lord Jesus Christ have been crippled and paralyzed for centuries as we have been ignorant of how the Cross of Christ relates to our everyday living for God. Being ignorant of something brings enough pain and suffering as it is, but to WILLFULLY IGNORE the Truth puts us in an entirely different situation and MUCH WORSE. Already in verse 2, the Apostle Paul has reminded The Christians there in Galatia that if they begin trusting in circumcision or really anything other than Christ and His work at Calvary (Chapter 3:1-3), that Christ will not be able to profit them. Here he adds to that reality with the words, “Christ will become of NO EFFECT unto you, whosoever of you are attempting to justify yourselves through Law, which is anything we do, you are FALLEN FROM GRACE.”

Falling from Grace is equivalent to removing ourselves from the working of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 1:6), who is also The Spirit of Grace (Hebrews 10:29), and this takes place when we replace the Cross of Christ as the object of our faith with anything we do, and that is ANYTHING. Grace is what God does in, for, to, and through us which we cannot do ourselves, cannot earn, and surely do not deserve. We were saved by Grace (Ephesians 2:5, 😎, we are taught by Grace (Titus 2:11-12), and we labor only by Grace (1 Corinthians 15:10). Grace is not some mystical or magical endowment God bestows upon us, but rather it is what God is allowed to do in, too, for, and through us based on our faith EXCLUSIVELY in Christ’s work at the Cross (Psalm 33:4, Romans 8:2).

Seeking God in His Word and experiencing Him through faith in the sacrifice of Christ!

100% agree, flies right in the face of God's longsuffering character.

Revelation 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. [again, giving space to the murderers to repent, before exacting judgment over them]

The God who spared Ninevah.
Period.
