Well if we're derailing to fizzy drinks, let's do it right...

I'm not big on sodas in general, but I do like a drink that is one part sprite and one part cranberry juice. Not that ocean spray junk that is part cranberry, part apple, part pear.... just straight cranberry juice mixed with sprite.

I also like to put a bit of cream in the bottom of a cup and fill it up with root beer. Instant root beer float.

Superfluous? That word doesn't seem to fit the context of your statement. Even superlative would be a weird fit. We're you going for something like super duper huge?

It is indeed, and that slice of cheesecake in your avatar seems exceedingly superfluous to your dietary requirements for sugar and dairy. Fortunately I just LOVE cheesecake, so I will be happy to help with that. :cool:

That instant root beer float idea sounds intriguing. I agree about the cranberry juice verses cranberry drink. I prefer 100% cranberry juice too. Mixing it with Sprite is not a bad idea either. For a single guy you sure have a lot of interesting food preparation tips. When I was single I just grabbed the first thing that my hand touched in the freezer to put into the microwave. I ate basically to survive.

Well I did think about asking you to back me up on this one. So all I have to say at this point is QED. That and I think we've given him (actually I don't know up. is up a him or a her?) enough pushback on a less than ideal word choice. Any more arguing about it would be truly superfluous.

Naturally. Had I taken it seriously I would have made a ten minute dissertation on word definitions, complete with suggestions of alternate words that probably fit what you mean better. I am, after all, a nerd. :geek:
