Hi Dude653 i am so very very sorry to hear this has happened.Such a terrible tragedy for you have to faceat such a time.It is great that you have found this forum and of course I will pray for you.I can't even begin to imagine how you and others must be feeling right now..
So young as well with his birthday coming up in shortly.If only we could go back in time to the day before and different choices were made he would still be around.May God given you the strength to get through each moment of each day.I am touch by what's happened...
Praying for y'all. So sorry for your loss, he wasn't much younger than me. Not much can be said to comfort in these type of moments. Only the love of others and fall into God's arms as He is a comforts those in grief. Let go in Him and let thet be where your emotions are free to feel and free to heal.

I am so very sad for you. There are no words for this sort of pain. I ask God to shelter you under his wing. Please forgive people for the things that they may say while trying to comfort you. We mean well but we are floundering. I am so sorry.
I pray you and your family will feel the Lord's presence and comfort around you in a mighty way.

Don't worry about "butting heads" Dude, I am sad that you were even concerned and felt the need to bring it up...! in the end of the day we're all people... as for the holders of grudges, it will not go well for them with Christ...
A good reminder that we often have no idea what's the person on the other side, that we are engaging, currently going through. This forum could really use a bit more kindness...
Asking the Holy Spirit to intercede on your behalf, because I'm really at loss for words. What shall one say to comfort a grieving parent? I'm asking God to give you some peace and relief in your distress I wish I could do more.
He had just gotten out of the Marines and was going to college on the GI Bill

I cant imagine how overwhelming it is to lose a son. Though God knows as Mary was the same. Do whatever you need to do..sending prayers of comfort
when lives are short it seems God gives them extra opportunities to touch people just by who they are and not always by what they accomplish..He has a greater purpose in this though its so hard to go on, let Him carry you through the valley

this is heartbreaking and you have my deepest condolences. I cannot imagine such loss. I have prayed for you, for strength and the peace that only God can give to us in the midst of our worst days and losses and I will continue to pray that you might be comforted.
