I may leave a word out because I am quoting the verse from memory.

According to merely means "in accordance with". God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus, according to (in accordance with the fact of) Having chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. The word according to does not change the meaning of Having CHOSEN US. It does not magically change the words "chosen us" to "chosen our blessings'" That is an absurd proposition you both are making.

I keep answering the same objections over and over again. Please read the posts.

Not even related to the passage in question. Nothing in Ephesians 1 magically changes "Chose us" INTO "chose our blessings" And nothing in Ephesians 1 changes Chose us before the foundation of the world INTO chose us when we got saved. Except in your mind and in John 14:6's mind. Show me the words that MAGICALLY change "chose us before the foundation of the word" to something else. The word According? Doesn't change a thing. It just means that ONE ACTION IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANOTHER. ie, GOD blessing us with every spiritual blessing is IN ACCORDANCE with the fact that HE CHOSE US IN HIM BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

Well were waiting for what you believe Paul is telling these saved Christians about ? You keep avoiding the explanation. Do you hold to the Calvinist interpretation of the verse ?

LOOK AT THE NAME OF THE THREAD.

Do you believe in God's Foreknowledge of us?

If we were chosen before the foundation of the world, which Ephesians 1 clearly states, and if that choice is based on foreknowledge, as 2 Peter states, then it follows that God foreknew us before the foundation of the world.

That argument is airtight, buddy.

From when ?From the bible I can see that Jesus existed with the Father in eternity past . And the Holy Spirit. I know a little about what the Gnostics taught on these matters .

PS. it is you who add to scripture. You add the words "as sons" to the verse that says "now that you are known of God". That is adding to the word of God.

21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Yes I believe this verse .

Elected for what ? to do what ? Its always to do something or purpose .
isa 1¶Behold my servant whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Already have.

a. God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

d. The purpose of this is that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.
e. He also predestinated us unto adoption.
f. Because of the good pleasure of His will.
g. Leading to the praise of the glory of His Grace, through which He has graced us in the beloved.

That's your problem right there. You don't know how to identify the direct object of a verb. I suggest you brush up on grammatical syntax.
