I think I may talk about loneliness too much but I just cant help it. It literally suffocates me some times. I feel as though I will never connect with anybody. Maybe there isnt someone out there for me. Im not close to my friends because they really arent too much like me. Its a sad way to live with only my brother as a friend and even he isnt always there. I crave love as well as companionship but I feel as if there is no man out there for me. I hate complaining but its just.. hard some times. Ive been through so much and here I stand, strong and independent yet alone.

I know exactly how you feel. And yes loneliness is hell. It is the reason why prison is hell. Nobody understands me either, and I'm not like most people my age. Don't worry, I understand you. Message me if you ever wanna talk.

With what you wrote I cannot determine the source or reason for your loneliness. Why can't you relate to other people? I'm sure you know the reason pray for a solution.

I'm lonely too. I don't relate to others, but then again I don't want to watch or listen to American Idol, Akon, Lady Gaga or any other popularized cheap entertainment. As a result, I am very lonely. However, all those problems are mine. You may be lonely for different reasons.

Caution: Most relationships without God stay that way.

Assuming you know God very well. Church would be the ideal place to look, however, you can find many lonely guys at chess clubs, science clubs and math clubs. No one understands them either. Though this might not be your group, I bet the ratio of guys to girls will be about 5 to 1. So, pray, pray and pray.

If you want help with this - I'd recommend finding a young lady at church, say 20-25 years old and talking to her about it. You'd be surprised at the wisdom she can offer you, and how much she may share her feelings with you. :)

Sweetypie, you are so young, I know the older people in your life are telling you this as well, but it is true.

Jesus loves you so much,more than any man/boyfriend/fiance/husband ever could. You really shouldn't feel lonely, if you are feeling lonely then talk to him, cry with him, let him hold you, spend a while in his arms, he heals all hurts.
Being a single christian women is a very special place to be, cherish that don't wish it away, and be patient, if God wants you to be with someone, you will but His timing is PERFECT, so wait on him. If you want to be dating someone then you should be thinking marriage, the point behind christian courting/dating is marriage. If you not wanting to get married then don't look for a partner.
I know conventional dating is all about sex, the physical, pleasing ourselves. Christian dating is not about this, God actually tells men not even to touch a women. Are you able to resist this? Saving yourself for marriage is the best gift you can give your husband, right now, while God calls you to be single you should be thinking about pleasing God. A women's heart should be so lost in God that a man needs to seek HIM in order to find her.
You should be craving a desire to walk closer with God, not to have a boyfriend.

I don't want you to think I may be judging you, trust me I am not. We in the exact same boat. I moved away from everyone 4 years ago to live in New Zealand and came here and never made friends, I have made acquaintances at my current church, yes I have my parents and my brother which I do talk to but i understand there is only so much, at 16, willing to share with your parents.
A few months ago I moved away from my parents to come and study and now I am alone, and sometimes I feel lonely, but that loneliness is not for a boyfriend, its for a desire to be closer to God.

If you ever want to talk, leave me a message, i am here, you are in my thoughts and prayers, I pray you draw so close to God that your life is overflowing with love and completeness. That which God gives.

Zero, whadya mean why she doesn't have a boyfriend?.... as far as I am concerned... it's god for teenagers not to date.... you know.. to kiss dating goodbye.... am i wrong?

Nice topic, I think its hardly ever talked about even though it run's through alot of people/relationships. I think we fear being alone and thats why some stay in very bad relationships because of fear. We tell ourselves we won't find someone else ect.ect. I think we all have a voice, or a internal dialog that we tell ourselves over and over. If we are feeling down it can really create bad choices and more bad thinking. You should never assume taking your life is an option. Your it will haunt your family and loved ones the rest of their lives. Can I suggest if you are feeling lonely in world full of crazy :D reach out/get help. Do not be ashamed, its your life were talking about and your families horror. Anti depressants can help you sort things out through tough times. In a few months/years your going to look back and think wow that was dumb. You'll be in a much better place in life. Life can be full of hills and valleys. Just look forward to the hills and look down on the valleys. Please reach out if you are hurting. Don't let it go another day. You are not alone. Many people understand. Wasn't it a wise man that said there is nothing new under the sun?I hope this can be useful to someone. I guess it already has.:)

You dont have to feel alone for there is one who loves you Angel, his name is God...who never forsakes you or leaves you. He is always with you and has the deepest love than anyone can ever have for you. Seek Jesus he is the one who can help you the most.

My thing seems like Angel's But I cannot even get one friend to hang around me and going out and finding and offering kindnesses to people does not help..If I only had one person is all just to talk and watch things together and not even a lady [ I am a guy]/just anybody.I can get worldly people that might pull me far from God possibly but that is messy and detsructive in life. It is strange one does not find a soul . I'd offer friendship to you Angel if I can. I understand some of things you said.I am in need as well.

Amen brother!!! We should be friends. Since I don't @%!@% have any friends, and would probably be in a science or chess club if there actually was such a thing where I live. I don't like pop culture either, like to read classical novels, and am interested in philosophy and things which arouse the intellect. Nobody around here likes to think, and treats you as inhuman unless you are a beer drinking muscle-man douchebag who is obsessed with the local sports team.

He is not entirely correct. Yes there is passion, enmity, worship, but no LOVE or FRIENDSHIP. Sexual passion and arousal is NOT love and never will be. Wilde was a famous hedonist, but at least an honest one. Although I doubt he really understood what the word love means.

The minute that u feel comfortable with who u r and also turn to God to help u deal with lonliness is when you will see that u r not alone.

Thats a very good question. Ive been asking myself that for about 2 years. I guess I just havent met the right guy for me yet.

This is literally driving me mad. I feel as if I need a companion but I feel as though Ill never find one.
