When are we saved? When we believe.

Romans 10.
Yes when we believe. Then we are ' in him ' before that we are strangers, lost and without hope and without God . Scary ,really. Praise God we did not refuse the truth so as to be saved .

It gives me great comfort and security to know that God knows the end from the beginning, and that fully knowing us, from beginning to end and back, He loved us and chose us in Christ before we even existed.
Amen if gives us power to keep
Believing and keep Moving through all things

Which verse ? Thats where we would need to search to answer .
Isaiah chapters 41-46. God puts the false gods on trial, basically saying that if they cannot tell what is to come, they are NO GODS!!

So by definition, a True God must be able to declare that which is to come

And God can, because He is the ONE TRUE GOD.

Yes we know from the scriptures he declares the end from the beginning. Prophecy ect ..And He will do all that pleases him
There you go. If God doesn’t know all things, how can He give prophecies thousands of years before something happens. Do you know how many free will acts had to line up correctly for just one prophecy to happen as prophesied? Yet we have hundreds of fulfilled or to be fulfilled prophecies in the Bible.

Genuine question. How did you get involved with this group / organisation you are teaching?
I am an individual, not from a group / organisation. God started about 9 years ago, when I would randomly open God's word, he would give me the scriptures I have quoted. The first I can remember, that struck me, due to my locality as a South African, was:

Zephaniah 3 (NASB)

10 My scattered people who live beyond the rivers of Ethiopia will come to present their offerings.

2 Timothy 2:10 (NKJV), “Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.”
Who were/are “the elect” for whom Paul was willing to suffer with much hardship?
Notice it says ' they also ' .
God also foreknew them. The Gospel is the means through which God calls to salvation.

Man’s will is free because God is sovereign. A God less than sovereign could not bestow moral freedom upon His creatures. He would be afraid to do so.
Man is enslaved to sin. His freedom to believe is granted by the God who redeems slaves.

Could you tell me how you were saved ?
By grace. I have been a repenting Christian all my life, and had faith in all that my parents and teachers told me of God. At times in my life, my works deviated from what would be considered prepared by God. Repentance is a continual thing. But I had an experience like the prodigal son. I strayed from the faith, and came home again, when I had a big realisation that I am a big sinner, but that God had loved me all this time I was away from home, and he forgave me, even though some people close to me still judged me.

So if I wasn't saved ,what would I have to do to be saved ?

Because God was gracious to him. Enoch would agree that he is who He is by the Grace of God.
5¶By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Yes, He pleased God by His faith, and faith is the response to God’s Gracious act of SELF REVELATION. Always has been.
