Many falsely use the verses in Colossians below, believing they were speaking to those observing days other than the Sabbath?

Those who kept the Sabbath and New Moons were judged in Colossians below , it was written in support of the Sabbath keepers (y)

The Sabbath and New Moons are (Eternal) a shadow of things to come, if you plan on being in the Eternal Kingdom, better get ready to keep the Lords Sabbath (y)

Colossians 2:6-17KJV
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Isaiah 66:22-23KJV
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

In the Kingdom to come the Sabbath is most likely eternal and constant.

Scripture suggest that there will be chosen times to go to the throne in New Jerusalem, feast of tabernacles is a Sabbath?

Zechariah 14:16KJV
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

The Sabbath is given to us as a rest, both physical rest and spiritual rest. We are to have a time to stop wrestling and striving both to feed our bodies and to let Jesus feed our souls.

Colossians was written because the Gnostics told them they were not to celebrate with the feasts because only the spiritual had reality and feasting was physical. There were also false prophets who told them to celebrate the seasons with the winter solstice and spring festivals. Paul told them not to listen to them, listen to the Lord.

Isaiah was an Israelite prophet writing to Israel about Israel. The Covenant of the Sabbath is only given to them (Lev.24:8). It is an "everlasting Covenant", so you are correct in that Israel will, within the borders of the Good Land, keep Sabbaths.

But Colossians is written to a Church - to believers. For them, the Sabbath of Genesis 1 and 2, and the Sabbaths of the Law are a shadow of things to come. The Sabbath that "is to come" is found in Hebrews Chapters 3 and 4. This Sabbath is not defined by a solar day. It is twice defined:
  1. Adam was made last on the 6th day. That is, his first day was the SEVENTH. God defined the six days as "evening and the morning" - a Biblcal and solar day from sunset to sunset. But Jehovah pointedly does not define the Sabbath by the "evening and the morning". In order not to cause a private interpretation (2nd Pet.1:20), we have interpret the Bible with the Bible. And so we have to define every "day" and see which one applies. Our studies will reveal FIVE different "days" in scripture. They are (i) the time of daylight, (ii) a solar day of 24 hours, (iii) an event like the "DAY of the Lord" (which is not defined in time), (iv) one day is one year in prophecy, and (v) to God, a thousand years is like a day (Ps.90:4; 2nd Pet.3:8). The only one that fits is (v), for God said that "IN the DAY" that Adam ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, he would die - and Adam lived 930 years. He died IN that "DAY" - the first Sabbath.
  2. The above calculation is not decisive, but in Hebrews 3 and 4 another Sabbath is alluded to - the time that Israel occupied the God Land. God said that those who fell in the wilderness did not enter His REST, says Joshua, and David prophecy is that the Israelites that did go in, did not complete the Sabbath. Biblical scholras will differ slightly in the exact years from Joshua entering the good Land and Babylon carrying away Judah. But all agree that it was just short of 1,000 years. Thus, the FUTURE Sabbath Rest is defined by only one day - 1,000 years
And truly, AN-OTHER 1,000 year period when God's Man will occupy and rule the earth, especially Israel, is found in Revelation 20. And it just so happens, or was it design, that the time from Adam to Christ was 4,000 years, and Israel's chastisement is 2,000 years, making the Sbbath Rest of Revelation 20 THE SEVENTH 1,000 YEAR PERIOD - A SABBATH!

Israel is BOUND by the SABBATHS - for weeks, for the Land, for the Holy Days and for the Jubilee. For the Church, the Sabbath is a "shadow of a thing to come" - THE THRICE defined MILLENNIAL KINGDOM!

Not one word in Hebrews Chapters 3 or 4 states anything about a future Sabbath as you claim.

Perhaps you need to quote the verses they dont exist, waiting?

In Genesis, at the time the Sabbath was ctreated, scripture tells us to have physical rest as well as resting in the Lord. It is wonderful that you know to rest in the Lord, don't forget you are in the human realm, also.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. :)

This is so true, but it should not be a reason to refuse of obey the Lord physically with the idea that the Lord is Lord of our spirits only.

Colossians 2:8-10
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

We are to rest in the Lord, for the Lord is our salvation. The Lord is spirit and truth. We are also told to rest physically one day in a week, it is also wrong not to do that.

Genesis 2:2-3;
2 "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."

Hebrews 3:
11 "So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest"

18 "And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?"

Hebrews 4:
1 "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it."

3 "For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world."

4 "For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works."

5 "And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest."

8 "For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day."

9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God."

10 "For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his."

11 "Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief."

Yes. I took a chance that my readers were familiar with Hebrews 3 and 4. I was headed for bed and did not expand. Let me do so now.

Whatever one's appreciation for what happened in Genesis 1:2 to bring the earth into a chaos, covered with water and the heavenly lights switched off, it is clear form the rest of the Bible that God made man to replace "The Prince of this world" and the "Prince of the power of the air". And to make the earth beautiful, functional and a hospitable place for this man, God restored the earth in six 24 hour periods. That is, by the dawn of the SEVENTH DAY, God had (i) removed the water and darkness, (ii) set things in beautiful order for habitation (Isa.45:18), (iii) put His new Governor - Man, in place. And God, Who calculates every Word He speaks and writes, pointedly left out "the evening and the morning" for the SEVENTH DAY. That the Garden was not fenced about, that the Serpent was in the Garden, that a fallen principality of angels and demons was still in and on the earth, is confirmed by God giving man the duty of "subduing", "ruling", "fencing about" (lit. Heb.) and "bringing the Garden to order". Thus, the FIRST SABBATH;
  1. is NOT 24 hours in length
  2. is NOT when everything was perfect
  3. IS when God had a new governor in place (Adam)
  4. IS when God can REST from His Works because His man - with authority - is in place
Moving forward to about 1,500 BC, God's chosen, and specially trained People - Israel crossed the Jordan and entered Canaan. Up until then Canaan had suffered the rule of a cursed people, angels mating with women to produce "giants", homosexuality, bestiality, adultery and fornication, and violence (hence the walled cities). The Land was exceeding beautiful, verdant, fertile and yielded massive harvest. It also contained abundant natural resources such as iron and brass - good for building and making weapons. But the sins of the Canaanites continuously polluted the Land. So God declares another Sabbath. He can REST because, although the Canaanite was still present,
  1. God has His Man (Israel) in place
  2. God's Man (Israel) had His Law to cleanse and stop pollution
  3. God's Man could build Him another place where He could meet with man (from Garden to Temple)
  4. God's Man could annihilate the polluting elements
And God intended that the "Subduing" would take about seven years, and after that Israel could apply God's Law to themselves and the Land, and rule it according to God's directions. Since this Land was to be an "everlasting possession", this REST
  1. would be longer than 24 hours
  2. would not be when everything was perfectly in order
  3. would be with His Man in place
  4. would be when God stopped working and His man did the job with his training and authority and Laws
Just as Adam was disobedient and died "WITHIN" that Sabbath, Israel were disobedient and were ejected from the Land. I both cases God's REST lasted not quite a thousand years.

At the end of this age, God promises to institute a Sabbath REST again. The situation is almost identical. The Nations rule, and by their activities they pollute the earth. But during this "Time of the Gentiles", God is calling out a People by a New Birth to be TRAINED to bring is TYPE OF HEAVENLY Government to earth. When the time of calling out, and the time of training is complete, God will declare another Sabbath REST. God can REST because:
  1. His New Man is in place
  2. His New Man has power and authority to subdue and rule this earth
  3. This New Man IS the New Temple of God
  4. This New Man has a New Birth from God and possessing human elements IN RESURRECTION, plus the divine elements given at this New Birth, the New Man will SUCCEED
The New Kingdom, subdues all things with divine authority, is never moved from rule, brings God's Laws and morality to earth and allows God to make ALL THINGS PRISTINE.

That is the "REMAINING SABBATH REST" of Hebrews 4:9 - The Millennial "DAY"

P.S. And now brother, whether you accept this or not, one thing does not change. There is a future day called God's REST. And what also does not change is that in Hebrews 4:11, Adam and Israel failed because of UNBELIEF, but you and I, if we want to ENTER this "DAY" must "LABOR". Does one enter it by FAITH or by WORKS?

That is left for you to explain.

Jesus is my Sabbath rest:)

Matthew 11:28-30:)
Amen! Hebrews 4:9 - So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. (NASB) Notice that the Greek word "sabbatismos" here is used no where else in the Bible! W. E. Vine, Greek Dictionary points out:

Sabbath rest (4520) (sabbatismos from sabbatízo = keep the Sabbath) literally means a keeping of a sabbath or a keeping of days of rest. It is used in this passage not in the literal sense (meaning to keep a specific day, the "Sabbath" day) but to describe a period of rest for God’s people which is modeled after and is a fulfillment of the traditional Sabbath.

SABBATISMOS a Sabbath-keeping, is used in Heb. 4:9, R.V., "a Sabbath rest," A.V. marg., "a keeping of a Sabbath" (akin to sabbatizoµ, to keep the Sabbath, used, e.g., in Ex. 16:30, not in the N.T.); here the Sabbath-keeping is the perpetual Sabbath rest to be enjoyed uninterruptedly by believers in their fellowship with the Father and the Son, in contrast to the weekly Sabbath under the Law. Because this Sabbath rest is the rest of God Himself, its full fruition is yet future, though believers now enter into it. In whatever way they enter into divine “rest,” that which they enjoy is involved in an indissoluble relation with God. (Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words)

Many falsely use the verses in Colossians below, believing they were speaking to those observing days other than the Sabbath?

The way I understand it, people who come to faith in Jesus enter his eternal rest, even during times of trouble, we are confident and have peace in the work of our dear Lord,

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Mt.11:29

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Heb.4:3

Also, the moon has no light of itself, but reflects the light of the sun and goes through phases until it becomes full. This shows how people see the light of Christ in us as we walk along with him.

Sorry brother but some very simple reading comprehension is all that is required here.
"Which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is Christ"; simply means that all of those things were not the substance but the indicator if you will a foreshadowing, and a reflecting of a reality, and that Jesus is the reality.

Also the passage, "from one Sabbath to another" means all the days in-between. This means everyday, and the same with " from one new moon to the next" it is everyday. Basically all flesh will come before Him everyday and worship.
These passages indicate nothing that nails down any form of legalistic Sabbath keeping mandate. It more expresses that we will all come before him everyday to worship, which is just grand in my view. I try to do that anyway.

It's a better practice to read scripture for what it says than it is to impose upon it what we want it to mean.

What do those scriptures state below, do we keep 9 commandments or 10?

Luke 6:5KJV
5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

John 14:15KJV
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1 John 2:2-3KJV
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 5:2-3KJV
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Revelation 14:12KJV
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Entering into the Lords Rest, is to enter the Eternal Kingdom, Zion, New Jerusalem

Psalm 132:13-14KJV
13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Revelation 22:1-3KJV
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
