I wonder... if we all had these discussions in person, would they be more productive and respectful, or would they quickly degenerate into fisticuffs? Of course, that could also depend on the quality of the coffee (or beer) being served.
I am for a cappuccino any time.

They ignored old Noah's warnings but he just kept right on building the Ark and we just keep right on preaching the Cross! Jesus said it would be like that again and we surely see it all around us. (Luke 17:26-27) Most turn their ear away from hearing God's warnings. To preach against Sin and declare the need to repent of Sin has been turned into hate speech. The invitation to come to the Cross and be Saved is ignored because everyone is deceived into thinking they are already saved by whatever fallacy they have believed in. But the days of excuses and make-believe are about to come to an end! Don't be swept away with those of Noah's day! The Cross is the Gospel and man kinds Only Hope!! Today is the day of Salvation!! Come to the Cross and Live both now and forever!!

Your assertions are logically flawed. I don't need to hold to any position to see the bad fruit coming from one particular position.

It's called "unbiased perspective".
Do you believe that a true statement must necessarily be free of the entire broad spectrum of logical fallacies?
Or does a true statement only need to be free from violating the three basic laws of logic?

Generally, the latter. When it comes to assertions about biblical truth posted here, I lean to the former.

I am asking because I am curious if you heed logical "laws" that are established outside of the Bible. For example, "The Appeal to Authority" is a fallacy according to modern logicians. However, this 'fallacy" does not apply when used of God's Word. If I were to say "Daniel was a literal prophet who served in the courts of Babylon in the late 500's BC"...some scholars may say that it was written after the events of Daniel and that it was not truly a prophetical book, and that I have no proof. I could merely respond with "Jesus said Daniel was a prophet". Although I am committing a logical fallacy, I am correct.

This demonstrates that there are logical "fallacies" that do not apply to Biblical doctrine.
Some examples such as "the law of non-contradiction" is established in the Bible...which means God affirms the use of that logical law.

Keep those in mind when you say something is "illogical". In short, mere men have labeled some trends of thought as "illogical", when in reality, the Bible says otherwise. When it comes to biblical doctrine, I only apply the logic that the Bible demonstrates.

I really don't understand what your teachings are all about. You seem to be conflating things, cross this cross that focusing on an object. That's idolatrous mindset to give such significance to physical objects. No wonder it's repelling people. Even an altar is nothing and a temple is nothing without God's presence.

As a child of God, you need to know everything you can know about what is soon to come to pass in this world. The Word of God, the Bible, is the only book on the face of the earth that gives this information.

END-TIMES EVENTS

1. The Rapture of the Church - 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
2. The Great Tribulation - Matthew 24:21-22
3. The Rise of the Antichrist - 2 Thessalonians 2:8-9
4. The Battle of Armageddon - Revelation 16:16; Zechariah 14:1-2
5. The Judgement Seat of Christ 2 Corinthians 5:10
6. The Second Coming of Christ Matthew 24:29-30; Revelation 19:11-14
7. The Kingdom Age - Revelation 20:4; Isaiah 2:4; 9:6-7; 35:1-3
8. The Great White Throne Judgment - Revelation 20:11
9. The Perfect Age - Eternal - Revelation 21 & 22

You make a cogent point. However, an appeal to authority is only fallacious if the authority is irrelevant to the subject. Among Christians (or at least those participating in a Christian discussion site) an appeal to the authority of Scripture is perfectly relevant and therefore not fallacious. What is too common is the situation where someone claims to be appealing to the authority of Scripture when in fact they are appealing to their interpretation of Scripture.

There will never be another worldwide flood. but fire next time..... The second coming of Jesus will be the end of this world as we know it. There are many prophecies yet to happen and non of them are connected with a time that we can set. They all point to the judgement the great harvest and the second coming of Jesus.
Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:2, 3). Jesus is coming in person.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

will you be deceived?????
Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Matt 24 has lots of warnings about the false Christs, and Satan is the one that we need to watch out for.
Jesus declared that He would not return to any localized area of the earth. Matt 24:23-26 remember this.
We know that the devil is a liar and a thief and a
2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Joh 8:44 ....He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

They were literally watching our Lord with their physical eyes and the same Jesus shall so come in like manner.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him,

Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: Rev 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The deception that the devil uses will not surpass the glory and spender of Jesus. The Devil will come before Jesus and it will be so dazzling that many will be deceived but truth will set you free. Study the word and trust the bible more then your emotions.

Totally understandable. I just wanted to point out that not all logical fallacies are universally applicable...which entails that many false doctrines can only be reproved with sound doctrine.

Oh. I suppose you are the one who will enter that narrow gate while all other believers who don't have the identical understanding, or don't even understand what are you on about, have no chance they are doomed?
