Yes, but that's Elijah's spirit, what happened to his body though. Flesh and blood can't enter heaven and glorified bodies aren't given out until the Resurrection.
Does the text speak of a body left behind to bury or anything of that sort? No it doesn't. It say he saw him no more, that means gone. The only thing left was his robe.
Omission is done on purpose in my opinion to conceal the truth, it’s prevalent all throughout the Bible.... the truth comes by here a little there a little.
The word "all" is sometimes used hyperbolically in Scripture, just as it is today.
