this is why @bud62 put this passage in post #4, it's how it fits with the topic.
While the uncommon narrative is that the flesh without the spirit is not living while the spirit without the flesh was not.

Thus, it is written that Enoch walked with God; and he was not;, so the question is what Enoch was not?

"...for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet."
Luke 24:39-40

If enoch’s spirit just left the body and his body dropped, he would be dead, you could not say he was not. He would be like the rest, who lived so long, and then their spirit left their body and they died.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though
they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Based on these verses, I believe God took the spirit of Enoch out of his body and his body dropped dead. If you disagree with this, then what do you think happened to Enoch's body?
I think you're assuming "all" to be exhaustive when it doesn't need to be.

I think you can look to Elijah for that answer.

Yeah all means all, that's what I'm saying. It is appointed man ONCE to die. Every human "goes the way of all the earth"..... their earthly bodies die.

Where does the bible say that Elijah's body never died?
And as they still went on and talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it and he cried, “My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces. And he took up the cloak of Elijah that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.

Yes, but that's Elijah's spirit, what happened to his body though. Flesh and blood can't enter heaven and glorified bodies aren't given out until the Resurrection.

Does the text speak of a body left behind to bury or anything of that sort? No it doesn't. It say he saw him no more, that means gone. The only thing left was his robe.

Omission is done on purpose in my opinion to conceal the truth, it’s prevalent all throughout the Bible.... the truth comes by here a little there a little.

But from your point of view did his earthly corrupt body ascend into heaven.

The word "all" is sometimes used hyperbolically in Scripture, just as it is today.

Put THESE in front of ALL and it and it's not hyperbolic.

You can have your opinion, I will keep with the text. Elisha picked up the robe that was left and went back across the river.
Elijah was carried to heaven by a whirlwind, and chariots of fire.

I was just curious how you justified Elijah's body going into heaven when other scripture makes that scenario impossible. That's all, peace.

Your entitled to your opinion.
Since you consider it "just my opinion", then I challenge you to support your assertion with evidence from any textbook of English grammar written for a post-secondary audience.

I prefer to use the bible.

Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

ALL those obtained a good report through faith and ALL those who obtained the good report DID NOT receive the promise. ALL those ARE THE SAME "all those" that died in faith.

Your reasoning is circular. You made the following assertion: "Put THESE in front of ALL and it and it's not hyperbolic." That is an argument based on a supposed grammatical principle, and so you need to support it with evidence of the supposed grammatical principle on which it is based.
