I am not some big religious holiday celebrator, I use these dates to reflect on these events in the Bible.
But it's hilarious how God patented ALLLLL these symbols for Himself, in advance. The pagans were not the first, and they can only sit down and cry, nothing is theirs ALL of it is God's... I think it's funny, really :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
Since you brought up Easter and the sun, I just have to:

Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings;...
🌤️🦅

As for the Christmas tree...
A lot of criers against Christmas don't even know what evergreen tree is, in the Bible. It's the righteous.
I love how even the star is above the tree :D just like above Jesus... And also gifts are there...

Psalms 1:3 And he [the righteous] shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Ephesians 4:8 ...he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

📦🎁🎁🎁

And just like that, God confiscated it all from the losing team, once again. BAM! 💣🧨💥💥💥
Pagans are copy cats, they have inverted copies of everything of God. The religion of the Luciferians that rule this world is to fuse all those opposites into one. This why there must be one religion, one sex, one race, one government etc. When this happens, the Luciferians believe they will ascend to the upper worlds.

disregard it as a christian celebration?
er, yes.
otherwise, celebrate it all you like, as a form of worship to some idol, or "god".
Celebrating the birth of Christ on any day of the year does not equate to worshipping an idol or god.

duh, so why set aside one particular day/date for it, when that date, known as, you guessed it, "christmas" isnt even the "reason" for His earthly birth. the birth of Jesus doesn't require a "reason". he was born though, to save us, as people, from our sins. thats NOT, what christmas is. should i roll my eyes ? :giggle:

Thank you, @SophieT. That was perfectly stated. I couldn't agree more. Merry Christmas, kiddo. I hope you have a great celebration of our Savior. He's worth celebrating!

The star and magi is in Matthew, duh
So I guess we can eliminate the gospel of John then since it is quite different from the other three.

That's it then. Outta here John and why don't you take Revelation with you

Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 3:18 1 Peter 3:18 He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.
made alive is not the same as born of in context to Jesus death. Jesus said no man takes my life I lay it down free and I have the power to take it back again. Your understanding of 1Pet 3:18 is not in line with what Jesus said

Every year, like clockwork... Ok so here are some other items that I'm sure the anti-Christmas people are against. Just some research, as you suggested. ;)

Calendar- Our way of measuring time (see hours, minutes and seconds) is based on an early Babylonian system, and our modern calendar is based on Pagan practices, astrology and mythology.

Church Buildings -Isn't it strange that Church spires around the world point upwards? The symbolism reflects the Pagan belief that Heaven is physically up there where it's light. Once again we find Christians following the ancients by looking up at the Sun god, even though they know that Heaven is in a completely different dimension. ( Didn't you know, spires are pagan!)

Icons-Since pre-Christian times we have wanted to see God. But we cannot physically see into a different dimension, so we erect effigies of what we think God looks like. Or rather, we erect effigies of what we want God to look like, and that entices us to worship the effigies as idols ( Bye, Bye Jesus standing at the door knocking!)

An idol can be something coveted, like a statue, a cross, a Bible, a stained-glass window. It can be a deep green, ecological perspective of the earth; not far removed from Nature Worship.

Bells- Yes, bells. . It is symbolic of the female nature, virginity and reproduction, not just in Paganism but in many of the main religions. It's clear that Pagans, Buddhists and many other religions use bells. ( The Salvation Army is going to take that news hard :( )

Prayer Words -Words are spoken aloud or considered silently, to our god. Man has prayed to the nature gods for millennia; it was certainly not a new invention for modern religions such as Christianity. And it was natural, like many other pagan ways, for Christians to adopt this form of communication with their God.

Amen!- From old Egyptian texts we can see that people regarded the sun as the emblem of the Creator. They called the sun Ra, and all other gods and goddesses were forms of the Creator. One of these gods was Amen; a secret, hidden and mysterious god named variously Amen, Amon, Amun, Ammon and Amounra.

Jews settled in Egypt for around 400 years. from 1847 B.C. and during this sojourn they would certainly have been fully exposed to the worship of Amen-Ra. By the time of their exodus from Egypt in 1447 B.C., the term 'Amen' would be in their language even if it was not their god. It would be a word that had associations with reverence and majesty. This is not difficult to understand.
Amen was seen as a powerful god and the name continued, out of context, as an exclamation or salutation; a classic example of language evolution. From the Jews, the word was adopted by Christians, Muslims and others.

So Amen was originally the name of a Pagan god, who was considered a form of God the Creator. But he was certainly not considered God, or Christ. ( Ok, now I have no idea how to end my prayers :( )

Wedding Ring- The unbroken circle is an age-old symbol of eternity. It's easy to see why such an ancient symbol should be incorporated into a wedding ceremony, when 'everlasting love' is the hope of the couple, their families and friends. Nice idea, but sadly, a ring is not an elixir of everlasting love; rather it's a vestige of ancient magic.

A ring is a circle (as you've noticed) and a circle has very strong magical connotations. The circle is endless and timeless suggesting a repetitive unbroken wholeness in time and space. It even suggests reincarnation to some people. ( Wait till I tell hubby I have to throw out my diamond ring!)

Days of the Week-The days of the week are based on Greek mythology. The original Greek and Roman naming has changed over the years to match the equivalent gods of north European mythology.

Sunday: Day of the Sun

Sun worship has always been popular and for obvious reasons - the sun gives us the warmth and light essential for survival. Some believe that the halo seen in Christian icons, the sun-shaped Eucharist wafer contained in the Catholic monstrance, and several other instances, look very much like pagan sun worshipping.

Monday: Day of the Moon

God of the light ball in the night sky, and tide maker.

Tuesday: Day of Mars

Mars or Aires, god of war

Wednesday: Woden's day

Woden's day (King of the gods). Woden was the god who controlled all the other gods. His number-one mission was to gain all knowledge and wisdom. He visited all four corners of the world to gather information. Nothing could be hidden from him.

Thursday: Thor's day

It's a good idea not to annoy this god. When he comes storming after sinners, the sparks of his chariot wheels create the lightning we see.

Friday: Fria's day

Frigg was a kind and beautiful Norse goddess and wife of Odin, the most powerful god. Their job was to oversee everything that happened in the world and Frigg's specialty was love and marriage.

Saturday: Saturn's day

Seterne's day (god of agriculture). People believed that the god Saturn controlled the weather and hence the success or failure of crops. Sacrificing a farm animal to Saturni would increase the chances of pleasing the god, resulting in favourable weather and a good crop.

Which of course leads to....

January: Roman god Janus was the god of doorways, entrances, gateways, thresholds and beginnings, and therefore used for the opening of the New Year.

February:
The 15th day of the month was a Pagan festival of purification called Februa and so this month came to be known as Februa's month

March: The Roman god Mars, god of war and guardian of the state.

April: Considered a sacred Roman month for the goddess Venus.

May: This is from Maia a Roman goddess of earth, honour and reverence.

June: The chief goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter and queen of the heavens and gods

This was fun! Every year I'm going to re-post this to the anti- Christian crowd. lol

I'm not done! No one better support these companies:

Starbucks -the logo used by Starbucks is a Twin Tailed Siren from Greek mythology. ( Too rich for my tastes anyway)

Versace -Their logo is based on the Greek mythological god, Medusa. ( WAY too rich for my taste!!)

The NBC Peacock logo- is one of the popular logos that was derived from Greek mythology. The colorful logo has a peacock in the center. The origin of the story center around the Greek goddess Hera. Hera was the wife of the god of thunder Zeus, she had 100 eyes, which were then symbolized into peacock’s feathers. This also means that Zeus had the knowledge of seeing and knowing all. ( Always thought they looked shifty)

TN Titians-The titans were what was around before the Greek gods and goddesses, and are where the likes of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon come from.

Nike- Nike is the Greek goddess of victory

Dove- This was branded after the Greek goddess of beauty and love, also known as Aphrodite. The soap brand used the dove, which was Aphrodite’s symbol.

Amazon- named after a race of warrior women.

Pandora- Pandora was the first woman in Greek mythology and her name means “all gifted.”

Saturn -was the Roman name for Cronus, who was the father of Zeus.

Trident -was the three-pronged spear of the god of the sea Poseidon

Venus- is another name that got changed (from Aphrodite) once the Romans took over the Greek mythology.
