Do you believe a new version is the word of God? If so, which one?
Do you believe that it is only possible for one translation in any language to be "the word of God"?

so does that mean i'm a kjv onlyist, even though i have read other translations ?
If you believe that the KJV is the only one that qualifies as "the word of God" then yes.

We’re born again by the incorruptible word of God
the Word of God is a person. He is incorruptible

But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us
(John 1:12-14)

I do not believe he thinks the KJV is the only Bible, I thought he made that clear. He stated it was his preferred. I think if this is true, and I think Dino may have missed it, or he sees something I do not see? And is caught up in the heat of the. Oment as these conversations can do to a person, which would make him not being a NASB onlyist because it is his preferred odd, in saying this person is a KJV onlyist because it is his preferred,

Ok, at least we have someone on here who believes their bible, the NIV, is the holy word of God without error. I hope all the others on here don't start heaping insults your way as a NIV cult follower.

Absolutely! God never promised to preserve His word in all languages, but only that it would be preserved. This would not keep the gospel of Jesus Christ from going out to all the world.

WHY do you believe this? Earlier, you rejected the Preface to the Reader because it is "not Scripture". So, do you have Scripture telling you that God preserves His word in only one translation in any language?

The Word of God is not confined to one translation. I respect that ergo I am not a cult follower.

It’s my understanding that evidence for God, or His character, is not confined to writing either.

Can you provide Scripture where the Lord states otherwise?

The word of God is confined to absolute truth. When words are changed, truth is changed. Not to mention, clear truths that are different in the versions. If a truth is changed, it cannot be the word of God. The word of God is absolute truth, every word.

You really are a brainwashed fool

Absolute Truth
Totally Genuine
Complete authenticity

The same thought, idea or statement can be conveyed with different words.

By this logic, you could believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster is God, because there is no Scripture where the Lord states otherwise.

So, once again, WHY do you believe that the Lord has preserved His word in only one translation in any particular language?
