If Jesus came to you and extended his hand would you take it?
In case your wondering, He will be taking you to heaven and if you say no, then He will simply come for you in the future. Its not a limited offer

My short answer is yes, i would take His hand...

I would choose to wait. I've got 8 kids and a husband who need me.

We have no say in it.. If the LORD has determined it's your time to go is now.. Then you're going now..

I would let Him take my hand. Of course with this corona stuff it would probably be a fist bump.

Well, there was Hezekiah. He begged for more time from Yahweh and got it. It didn't turn out well, but he still got it. 🤷

Yup. And ended up having a son that destroyed his kingdom. Might not have happened if he had died when he was supposed to. 😜
An unintended consequence perhaps. Hezekiah, as a sign, asked for the shadow to go backwards rather than forwards because he thought that was a much harder miraculous sign from God that his prayer was heard and answered. In my opinion, the best prayer is an answered prayer.

I've always been encouraged by that story, that Yahweh is willing to listen and actually grant requests like that. I have prayed often that my husband and I will live long enough to raise all our kids.
Though, if He keeps giving us more kids and grants my request, we might just live forever! 😆

I will prayer for this also. My mom and dad had 6 of us, I think I read somewhere that you have 8. I only had a single daughter but she has 5 kids of her own and has her hands full. God bless you and you husband and your children.

I wonder why God said 15 years and not 25 or 50. I have tried to find the significance of the 15 years. For some reason I found that interesting and also amusing in some way. "God I want to live" and God says "OK, 15 years. Go for it".

Ye and that was during the 50s, 40s, 30s in a small European village...

3 to 1 in the poll. Its not a large sample but a surprising one i think.
I've basically asked if u want to die at this point in time and 3 of us say yes which i can understand given the world around us...
To the people with kids and loved ones on their mind i can totally understand their answer as well...

A small village in the Portuguese island of Madeira... Off course it still exists will so many babies being introduced... :)
In contrast, my parents had two of us and my sister and i haven't had any kids...

I haven't met many people who have had that many kids but one family comes to mind because it is modern, right here, right now...
Polynesians have huge families and there is a Samoan family living here in Melbourne that also has 16 kids
