Is this 'laugh out loud' funny to you, or just clever? Maybe it reasonates with Lutherans who often think of how their hymns are different from the standard Anglican Christmas hymns that are more popular in Anglo societies. When I saw the video, I remembered hearing 'Away in a Manger' was written by Martin Luther, and it sounds like one of the hymns criticized, but I looked that up and it seems extremely unlikely that he wrote that one.

I've seen a few of these videos, and they aren't exactly what I'd consider funny, and I've seen one or two that were too sacrilegious... kind of like the Babylon Bee. Except before that one changed hands, some of the headlines might elicit a chuckle, but the kind that made me feel a bit guilty for laughing at something that was mean, like the one about a Stryper concert making Rob Bell consider the idea that there really is a Hell.

It's satire, so there is a multi level humor there. Meh, it ain't funny of you don't get it.
I don't know anything about the rest, babylon bee, stryper and Rob Bell?

Stryper is a Christian rock band from the '80s that either re-formed or id still going, wearing outlandish yellow and black outfits. Rob Bell is or was a pastor of a large church who wrote a book in which he explained he did not believe in a traditional view of Hell. The Babylon Bee is a religious satire site similar to the Onion with fictional satire stories. One story said Rob Bell went to a Stryker concert and after listening to their music, decided there might really be a Hell after all.

It may be that it is funny. I can see how that can be funny. Maybe the music was so bad that he thought anything this bad must be from hell.
