I would not call myself a 'bird watcher', but I do watch them when I see them. Came across these wonderful photos of birds and thought I would post a link to view them.

Saw this about Australia and flooding in Queensland, hope some of out brothers and sisters can chime in-

A local spotted a bull shark casually swimming by his backyard fence after there’s been extreme flash floods across Queensland, Australia.
 
Wonder what that shark will do when the flood waters recede.

If it doesn't swim out with the tide, that would be an easy way to get some shark teeth! :cool:
 
We have 2 pairs of blujays that live around us, and have for a few years. Also 3 pairs of cardinals and 1 pair scissortail flycatchers. These are just the regulars. We have a lot of various birds around here

We also have a big variety of birds. Alot of water fowl. The jays pass through but make a racket so you always know they are there/here. I've never seen scissortail flycatchers.

Years back I lived on a migratory path for birds and I remember one spring I saw some I had never seen and for that matter not since.

Sometimes I will sit out early with my coffee and listen to locals chirp away and greet the morning. I can't imagine how silent this world would be without them. :)
