I hate white walls. If I go to someones house and the walls are white I am immediately put off. I dont understand how people can live like that, no color in their lives. It makes me wanna scream.

Oh I forgot one, my students love this too. HAHAHAHAHA
All writing and drawing materials have to face the same direction. The tips of the pencils have to point down in the cup as well as the scissors. The markers and colored pencils have to be facing the same direction. The blue crayon boxes have to be stacked on top of the other blue crayon boxes and the greens go with the greens. DUH! Common sense!

Well, you'll have to smack me too, Grace, as I do the same thing-- my motto is, all laundry must fit into less than two loads per week, and that includes everything. Usually, it's just one.
They also have these little "color catch" sheets now that you can throw in to trap some of the loose dye--and the real culprit is often the dryer, not so much the washer. I don't dry jeans with a new white t-shirt... but I have been known to wash them together (jeans on the bottom, covered by sheets and towels... T on top, wrapped in a white pillowcase...
Jullianna, I am the opposite of you--I will flip the cake over... and eat the frosting.
Nuke, with your penchant for small things, I am expecting you to pull a Paris Hilton any day now and soon be seen walking around carrying a teacup Chihuahua (named Poochebelle?) under your arm... After all, I'm guessing you love small accessories as well.
I have all kinds of oddities, but I'm not sure I can compare with all of you!
1. I prefer to write in blue ink, or colors. I hate using black ink, for some reason--it seems so stale and stuffy... but of course, usually have to resort to this for work.
2. I write notes and makes lists for myself about EVERYTHING--picked up that habit from my Mom--in blue or colored inks, of course. I prefer gel pens but they tend to smear so I usually stoop to using ball-point...
3. I can go into most any restaurant and the one thing I want is a cheeseburger and fries--no condiments, maybe a little onion (I'd hold off if I were on a date... heh) but no goopy stuff on my burger, please.
4. I can't stand "liquid cheese"--Cheese Whiz, Velveeta, etc. If it came from a tube, can, or jar, it ain't cheese, my friend.
5. I HATE a wet or damp bathroom towel to dry my hands on--it just screams "germy!" to me, so thank goodness I have a stack of old (but clean!) towels my parents gave me that I rotate regularly. If the towel hasn't at least air-dried yet, I will get a new one.
I could go on... but I think you guys already know (as my co-worker puts it) that I'm a little "special".

I had to laugh at this because I got to work this morning and found than all of my pens/pencils are not only points down in the holder on my desk, but they all color coordinate with my office. hahaha

Well, as someone who just moved out of an apartment with completely blank walls, I'll just say that I never noticed and never cared. I like color in clothing, in cars, in nature, but I simply don't notice paintings, pictures, knick-knacks, etc...I don't dislike them, but I simply don't notice.

Well, actually, I like Great Danes. I guess I should rephrase that I'm not ALL about ALL small things...I'd like to have a Great Dane named Tiny or Shrimp or something.

That would be awesome.
I don't care for chihuahuas (they seem more like rodents than dogs to me), but I've always wanted a Yorkie. Would probably name him Sgt York or Killer. But..I'm afraid my bigger dogs would eat him.

Hi, I'm new here.
Something that is weird about me is that I east all the red and green skittles last. Those are my favorites.
When I go to sleep, my feet have to be covered up. I think it's cause when they get cold, they start cramping up.

hmmm dont really have any, only ones i can think of is I HAVE to have breakfast, and my sleep process i do the following: get glass of water, set it on table, go to the restroom, get water take to room, sip some, get situated in bed, find something to fall asleep to on tv, set tv sleep timer to an hour even though ill fall asleep within 10-15mins haha, then pray

1. I randomly burst into song, especially if someone says something which reminds me of a line in a song. I also MUST finish a song (or at least a stanza) if I start it. If someone tells me to 'stop singing' I just can't handle stopping mid sentence.
2. I leave post-it-notes on the front of my locker at work to remind me of important tasks I need to complete. I will also email myself from my work address to my home email for the same reason. I have also been known to call my mobile and leave myself a 'reminder message' on my answering machine.
3. I bake when I can't sleep. Usually cupcakes. In fact, I bake simply because I enjoy doing it. I don't need to have an occasion to bake for, I just do. I also bake in mass quantities and have to decorate with perfection. If my first attempt at a cake isn't EXACTLY as I want it to be, I will start over again, even if I have no particular purpose for baking it.
4. I HAVE to wear socks to bed. It doesn't matter what season it is, if my feet are cold, I can't sleep.
5. I notice grammatical errors everywhere. Signs, billboards, this forum, even when people are speaking with incorrect grammar. It drives me crazy and I HAVE to correct it.
6. I fold t-shirts a particular way, and have them all facing the same way in the drawer. This drives my husband batty! He doesn't like the way I fold them, so I fold his one way and mine another.
7. I have a terrible memory (hence the constant note-taking), but I remember songs and nursery rhymes from my childhood word-for-word. If you need me to remember anything of great importance- sing it to me!
8. The things I do remember that aren't in song form, are phone numbers. I hear one and can remember it months later if someone asks me for it, even if I've never dialled it myself.
9. The first thing I do every morning is drink coffee. I like to get up, make coffee and stare at whatever is in the middle of the table while I drink it. I don't function without my morning coffee.
10. When hanging laundry on the line (yes we still do that here, we don't use clothes dryers), I have to hang underwear on the smaller inside lines, and then work my way out. I hate the thought that neighbours and people on the street can see our underwear, so I make sure it's out of view by hanging towels and other larger items on the outer lines in front of it.
11. I don't eat tomato by itself (ie in salad or on a burger), nor will I eat tomato sauce. I will however, eat tomato cooked in recipes (lasagne, spaghetti etc). Similarly, I dislike chocolate flavoured things (chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk) but I love chocolate itself. I LOVE strawberry ice cream and strawberry milk and anything strawberry flavoured, but cannot stand actual strawberries. Their texture creeps me out!
12. (Another food one). I actually won't eat salad on bread (salad on a burger or sandwich) because it makes the bread soggy. I will only eat salad on the side of a meal. I also don't like salad dressing ON my salad, I like it on the side, so I can add it myself if required.
13. I apparently hold my pencil a really peculiar way. To me it's normal, and it's how I've always done it, any other way feels unnatural. I remember when I was at school, my teachers trying to 'correct' my pencil holding technique, and I just couldn't handle it. I can't describe my technique here, but ask me to show you on cam one day
