I shouldn't need to do that. Everyone knows what a Christian is at a Christian forum.

The church is mentioned using various terms.

The church goes through the Great Tribulation. That's the whole purpose of it. Much of the church will be slain but there will be some survivors according to Paul.
It will be the Antichrist and his kingdom followers that will suffer and die.

The (Two Witnesses) of Rev 11 will be in control of the tribulation, with "All Plagues" as often as they will, a remake of Moses/Aaron against Pharaoh of Egypt

Rev 9:3-6 the evil world tormented 5 months, desiring to die and they cant, death flees

Your remain silent on this and the plagues of the two witnesses, hiding the truth of this fact "Why"?

Are you saying that you don't believe what Jesus said in Matthew 24:24?
Yes I believe what Jesus Christ said, it was a warning to the Church, revealing the future Antichrist and False Prophet

Yes the Church that will be present on earth during the tribulation to witness the events

Matthew 24:24KJV
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Revelation 19:20KJV
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Some of my concerns are:

Does it seem right and fair and just of God to force the entire world to walk by faith since the beginning of time, but the people of the "7 last years of tribulation" will be able to walk by sight?

How can Paul teach that when Jesus comes as a "thief in the night", this will be followed by a 7 year trib if Peter says when He comes as a "thief in the night", the world is going to suffer uninhabitable catastrophe?

Why do people insist that a "7 last years of tribulation" rebuilt temple in Jerusalem in which the blasphemous sacrifices would be a slap in God's face ever be considered by God to be "the temple of God" when we know full well that the NT repeatedly calls the "temple of God" on Earth the church -- a perfectly acceptable interpretation?
I believe the Christian believer is the temple of God the Holy Spirit

However the scripture below "Strongly" suggest a rebuilt temple and renewed animal sacrifice, and yes it will be an Abomination, just as God clearly states

Isaiah 66:1-4KJV

1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

I agree, Jesus Christ returns in fire and Final judgement, dissolving this earth by fire (The Final Judgement)

As the New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem, are revealed for eternity

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved
, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Why would Satan wait for Christ to be crucified to try to have it end prematurely when he could have just possessed them and not even crucify him in the first place? Seems odd that satan and the devils would do nothing until after he was already on the cross and then supposedly try to stop it.

I think it's far more likely and sensible that Satan enjoyed Christ being tortured to death like he was and simply didn't realize how much it actually was his own defeat. I like to think of Satan as literally insane and not able to think rationally.
Satan didn't drive Jesus to the Cross...he tried to derail Him at every turn. Remember when he tried to kill the baby Jesus before He could die for the sins of the world? Remember when he tried to get Him to sin in the wilderness so that He would no longer be the Spotless Lamb? Or the times when the mobs tried to kill Him and He had to slip through the midst of them? Remember when he drove Jesus to the point of death trying to get Him to turn His steps from the Cross at Calvary?

There was nothing Satan could do to stop the Jews from condemning Jesus to the Cross because with every word spoken against them, their stranglehold on the people weakened, until they reasoned either Jesus must die or the nation of Israel. (John 11:47-50 KJV).

Let's see what the bible says:

Luk 22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Luk 22:4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
Luk 22:5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
Luk 22:6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

Satan entered into Judas so he would betray Christ which led to Christ being crucified. If Satan was trying to stop the crucifixion from happening he did the opposite of that since he is the reason Christ ended up on the cross. Without that betrayal, Christ wouldn't have been arrested that night nor would have ended up before Pilate.

I can see where one might interpret it as "you're supposed to build a temple for me, so where is it?" but it could just as easily be, "Compared to my heavenly throne and my Earthly footstool, your puny temple might as well be invisible".

One thing is for sure: Isaiah wrote that before the Babylonian captivity, so even if it did refer to a rebuilt temple, it would most likely refer to the one built after the one in Isaiah's day was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzer.

Luke 4:1-13KJV
1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

Reading Isaiah 66 "In Context" you clearly see the tribulation, second coming, eternal state?

I strongly believe Isaiah 66:1-4 references a future temple and animal sacrifices in abomination. Just as the tribulation, second coming, and eternal state is yet future?

Isaiah 66:1-24KJV

1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

5 Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12 For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Scripture is clear when the term "Christian" first appeared, but you continue to insist that they are also found in Matthew 24.

Christian means, follower of Jesus Christ and his teachings.

Were they following Jesus Christ in Matthew 24? :giggle:

So, Satan was suicidal? Because if Jesus dies for the sins of the world, Satan is a gone pecan....but if Satan succeeds in discouraging Jesus into denying His Father's will and abandoning His mission, then Satan stands vindicated.

So, which of the following is most conducive to discouraging Jesus into giving up and going home:

1) Jesus daily spending time with His loved ones, watching others respond with grateful hearts to His blessings, going about revealing the true loving character of His Father which Satan has sought to conceal from humanity, etc?

2) Jesus having to endure a near-death struggle to do His Father's will, then an arrest, abandonment of loved ones, false accusations, mock trials, near death torture, mocking, ridicule, loathing, and finally a shameful crucifixion while passersby hurled their maledictions and taunts at Him to come down and save Himself?

Jesus doesn't care about labels...He only cares about whether we allow Him in our hearts to change us so we stop doing that which made His death on the Cross necessary in the first place, right?

"I Agree" the veil in the temple was rent, the blood was shed upon Calvary, the Lord was buried and resurrected, he lives forever!

Any future temple and animal sacrifice will be just that, a BBQ of no value, in Abomination to the finished work on Calvary

There will be no sacrifice in the temple. The abomination is caused by the man of sin. Israel will become the most evangelical nation ever to exsist. Furthermore there are 2 wars not 1. The war against israel and the war against Christ.

There is one war seen in parallel teachings, the book of Revelation is seen in parallel teachings of same events, not chronological as many falsely teach.

There will be no Millennial Kingdom on this earth, it will be dissolved by the Lords fire at the second coming
