The truth is God is not done with Israel,nor will He ever be done with Israel,and all Gentile nations will fall,but Israel will be the mighty nation in the millennial reign of Christ.
Because of Israel's rejection of their Messiah,Jesus,God allowed the Roman Empire to overthrow Jerusalem and Israel,and scatter them in to the nations,where they would serve those nations,as they were also punished when they had to serve Babylon for their disobedience.
This was the warning that God gave them in the Old Testament,that if Israel disobeyed,God would allow other nations to scatter them off their land,and this was because by disobeying God,they lost His protection and blessing.
But nonetheless,no matter how much Israel disobeyed,and was punished,it was only a temporary punishment,and could never be a permanent punishment.
Jesus said that salvation is of the Jews.Salvation is of the Jews,and is always their salvation,and God already promised the Jews a world without end,the New Jerusalem,and God will never go back on that promise,and God said,I am the LORD,I change not,therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed,meaning God will always work with the Jews,and God said He has not cast off His people,the Jews that He foreknew.
The Jews may be punished from time to time,throughout history,because of their following false gods of the nations around them,but God will never cast them off,or forsake them,and will always have a plan for them from start to finish,the New Jerusalem.
Salvation is of the Jews,and is always of the Jews,and the Gentiles were brought in to that salvation,and God said for the Gentiles to not get arrogant against the Jews,for God can also save them who are a natural branch,where the Gentiles were wild branches.
In the Old Testament God gave Israel a cursing and a blessing.A cursing if they did not obey the truth,and followed the gods of the nations around them,and a blessing if they obeyed God and His commandments.
Any time that the Jews were punished by being scattered off their land,God said that any time they come to their senses and cry out to God,and seek His face,God would hear and return them to their land.
God said even in the latter days,which is the last days of the last days,before Christ takes over the world,that if the Jews cry out to God in the truth,God will hear from heaven and make their nation prosper again.
We know that for the most part the Jews do not recognize Jesus as their Messiah,and must recognize Jesus in their nation on a much bigger level,for God to make their nation prosper again.
They must recognize Jesus as their Messiah,which is to be in the truth,before they can prosper as a nation.
The thing is the Jews missed it,when Jesus came,on the level they should of accepted Him,and they did not understand that there cannot be a world without end for them,a spiritual world,until there is a sinless human that represent mankind back to a holy God,and win everything back that Adam lost.
The Jews cannot proceed further to receive a spiritual kingdom until a sinless human opens up the spiritual kingdom by reconciling sinful mankind back to a holy God.
So while the Jews were waiting for their Messiah to show up and put down the Roman Empire,they missed out that there has to be a humble,sinless man,who does the will of God perfectly,for the spiritual kingdom to even come about,before God can even put down their oppressors and make Israel flourish as a nation again on earth,and lead to the spiritual kingdom,the New Jerusalem.
The Old Testament was only physical ordinances,although the law was holy,good,and just,but nobody could live up to the law,not having the Spirit,for nobody won back what Adam lost,so it was not spiritual yet,but the Jews could have their sins covered with the blood of bulls and goats.
When Christ came,His blood took away sins completely,and you can receive the Spirit,which a Spirit led life will not fulfill the desires of the flesh,and you then can obey the moral laws being led of the Spirit,to be spiritually right with God.
The Jews missed that nothing can proceed for them,until there is a humble,sinless man,to cause it to proceed for the Jews to have the physical kingdom back in the millennial reign of Christ,and then have the spiritual kingdom,the New Jerusalem,after that,the world without end.
The disciples knew from the Old Testament that God would one day restore the kingdom back to the Jews,and they asked Jesus before He ascended in to heaven,will you again restore the kingdom back to Israel at this time,but Jesus said it is not for you to know the times and the seasons,that the Father has put in His own power,but go preach the Gospel and be concerned with spreading the truth.
So Jesus was saying He was not going to restore the kingdom to them at that time,but would in the future.
The Bible says that blindness has come in part to Israel,but that was their doing for not accepting Jesus on the level they should of,until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in,which means salvation came upon the Gentiles,and so all Israel shall be saved.
So blindness in part has happened to Israel,until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in,and so all Israel shall be saved.
The fulness of the Gentiles coming in,is when God allows the world 7 ways to have their way,for God is allowing everybody that does not love Him,to follow the beast system,which will be all Gentile nations together going against the operation of God,and then Israel coming to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah,and Jesus restoring the kingdom back to the Jews.
All Israel shall be saved means physical Israel,Jesus restoring the kingdom to Israel,where all Gentile nations shall fall.
God said He is going to make a full end of all the Gentile nations,but He will not make a full end of Israel,but He will not leave them altogether wholly unpunished,which means Israel will be punished for disobedience,but she will not fall,but all Gentile nations will fall.
The Bible says that God will restore the kingdom on earth to the Jews,after they have borne their shame for trespassing against the LORD,for not recognizing God's plan for them,by giving them the Old Testament as a school teacher,which could never provide spiritual salvation,and you can only dwell with God if you are spiritual,and then sending them Jesus to open up the spiritual kingdom,and further God's plan of providing spiritual salvation for the Jews.
After the Jews have borne their shame,wherewith they trespassed against God,by not understanding God's purpose for them,that it was more than the Old Testament that could cause them to prosper and be right with God,where God hid His face from them temporarily,God will bring them back to their land and restore the kingdom to them,and then the heathen shall know,the Gentiles,that the Jews went in to captivity because they trespassed against the LORD,not because the Gentiles were really that powerful,but God had mercy on them and caused them to be the mighty kingdom on earth again.
God said that He is going to gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle,and then the LORD shall go forth and fight against those nations as He did in the day of battle,when He protected Israel in the Old Testament.
God will give the world 7 years to have their way,and allow all people that do not love Him to follow the beast system.
The Gentile nations will come together,all the governments,in rebellion against God,and the Jews will not be blinded in part anymore,but come to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah,although some Jews will probably follow the beast system,but the Jews for the most part will recognize Jesus as their savior on the level they should.
God will send the Jews 2 witnesses to turn their hearts to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah,and the Jews will turn to Jesus as their Messiah.
All the Gentile nations,the governments,will be as one,and when the beast appears claiming to be God,and the world takes the mark of the beast and makes war against the Christians,God will take His children home,which will be the fulness of the Gentiles coming in,spiritual salvation,in which no Gentiles can ever be saved after God takes the saved Gentiles out of the world.
I believe that the resurrection will be both Gentile and Jews,who are with Christ,but the Jews will be caught up with the Gentiles,who recognized Jesus prior to the 7 years period starting,and the Jews who turned to Jesus by way of the 2 witnesses are on earth when the world attacks Israel.
Jesus said the Jews will not see Him again until they say blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord,which means recognize Jesus as their Messiah.
The world will attack Jerusalem,the Jews,and the Jews will have recognized Jesus as their Messiah by then because of the 2 witnesses,and will cry out to Jesus for help,and Jesus will come back with His saints and save Israel,and all Gentile nations shall fall,and Jesus will restore the kingdom back to the Jews,in which the book of Psalms says,that God of the fruit of David's body,will sit upon David's throne,in which Jesus will sit on the throne of David and rule out of Jerusalem,with His saints,over one sixth of the world that God spared that attacked the Jews.
God never gave up on His people Israel,and never forsaked them,and never will forsake them,and salvation is of the Jews,and always of the Jews,and all Gentile nations will fall,and Jesus will restore the kingdom to the Jews in the millennial reign of Christ.
