Ephesians 1:4 (King James Version)

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love

Wouldn't this mean everyone is in the body of Christ by default? The death would
also be for everyone by default. There are still additional steps for anyone to be saved.
No. Only those who believe by grace through faith are children of God.
This has already been explained to you with Scripture. The body of
Christ is the church, and that is believers only.

You will have to show that in scripture
Cornelius and his family received the gift of the Holy Spirit before they had been baptized by water.
This indicates that the reception of the Spirit is not dependent upon the act of water baptism.

See also Acts 10:44-48 ~

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit
had been poured out even on Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.

Then Peter said, “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have
received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.

You are saying Christ didn't die for every sin ever then?

No, that is not what I am saying. Please read carefully:

Non-believers are not "in Christ." Got it now?

No waves or particles needed :giggle:

Just faith.

You are contradicting yourself. How do all sins get forgiven in Christ if everyone is not in Christ?

I am not contradicting myself. Your lack of understanding is the problem. Jesus died for the sins of the world, but not all accept/believe/have faith in this. Even you know that, as you acknowledge the existence of non-believers. It's elementary - Christianity 101. We are saved by grace through faith alone, in Christ alone, and that puts us "in Christ" = not the natural birth, but a supernatural rebirth. Those not in Christ are not saved, which is why they go to the Lake of Fire (the second death) following the resurrection and judgment of all at the end of this age.

There is difference between being in Christ so He can atone for our sins and being baptized into Him.

You overlook/ignore/assume much to make such claims.

Jesus knows those who belong to Him.

The rest are not known, and are not in Him as you purport.

Fine, then how is He the savior of the world ..minus the unbelievers? You don't give an answer to how all sins are forgiven ..I did.

Jesus offered the first step to salvation for free to all. The key difference being there are more steps.

Christ’s life, not his death is what saves. (Rom. 5:10; 1 Cor. 15:17)

Atonement is one component of many components in salvation. It alone is not what saves. (Tit. 3:5; Rom. 5:10)

Atonement is a prerequisite for salvation, not the execution of it. (Rom. 5, 8; 2 Cor. 5; Tit. 3:5).

The Atonement must be received. (Rom. 5:11, 17; Jn. 1:12; 1 Cor. 15:1-4)

The Atonement does not glorify anyone. (Rom. 8)

Belief that salvation for anyone was secured on the cross constitutes a denial of the necessity of the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:17)

When we become baptized and open the door to Christ, we are no longer fallen souls. We have to live out our lives in these sinful bodies, but that is only temporary. Christ died for all sinful bodies, but it doesn't do any good if our souls remain fallen. We have to commit to the Truth.

You say a lot of things which are not Biblical Truth... are you a universalist?

John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed
in His name, He gave the right to become children of God-

You know who the others are the children of? I already told you.

And they are NOT in Christ just because you say so.

AND I did give an answer to how our sins are forgiven, which you obviously ignore!

"BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN HIS SHED RIGHTEOUS BLOOD."

So the blood is for all, but that isn't in Christ? Are you saying it is the blood that came out of Christ during the crucifixion was for all?

Hey, Joe, where you going with your mangling of my posts? Can you not simply comprehend what
I say and stop reading all kinds of ridiculous crap into it that I did not say or an any way imply?

I am, after all, very direct and to-the point, yet you fail to grasp it.

Could there be a difference between being in Christ before and after He raised?

Are all sins beforehand and knowing Christ afterwards?

There isn't a requirement for all sins to be injected into Human Born Christ. There is a faith requirement in the Risen Christ for it to matter. Both involve being in Christ, but being in Christ via sin ended. We have been arguing about the timeline of Human Born Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:15 - “15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”

Jesus had our sins before we lived it.

Our fallen body history was entangled and/or wave collapsed to Christ while He was alive so that He could atone for all sins. Current day, we entangle our minds and hearts to the Truth.
