In your estimation, how did Abraham, by faith, expect to make it into the HEAVENLY CITY, which he had not only seen afar off, but was persuaded of as well, apart from Christ's death, burial, and resurrection from the dead and his own resurrection from the dead?

Take all the information about Abraham and calculate what you think he knew and believed and you will be speculating and assuming . Which is what your doing ..

I just quoted you the verses which immediately precede your typical "selective quote", and they give us plenty of more information about Abraham and his faith.
Like it or not (obviously not...why do you so tenaciously cling to your error?), Abraham was looking for A HEAVENLY CITY or THE NEW JERUSALEM, and he wasn't expecting to get there apart from Christ's death, burial, and resurrection from the dead and his own resurrection from the dead as well.

Personally, I've read most, if not all, of Paul's epistles 100 times or more, so stop trying to play me for a fool.
