^ and (in view of that) recall what the Lord says, here:

Habakkuk 1:6-12 -

6 For behold, I am raising up the Chaldeans [/Babylonians]
that ruthless and impetuous nation
which marches through the breadth of the earth
to seize dwellings not their own.
[...]
12 Are You not from everlasting,
O LORD, my God, my Holy One?
We will not die.
O LORD, You have appointed them [the Chaldeans / Babylonians]
to execute judgment;
O Rock, You have established them [the Chaldeans / Babylonians]
for correction

What I've stated is that LOTSA references to "FIRE" are shown to unfold upon the earth during the time-period LEADING UP TO and preceding His Second Coming to the earth ALSO.

So my question to YOU is, do you EQUATE each of the following references into the SAME point-in-time (His Second Coming point-in-time)?

[10 REFERENCES TO "angels" and "fire" (per 2Th1:7-8 which I've pointed out that the "INFLICTING VENGEANCE ON" takes place over the course of SOME TIME, rather than merely "a singular 24-hr day" at the END / His Second Coming moment only)--Bearing in mind that Rev1:1 / 1:19c / 4:1 says that these "future" aspects of the Rev "must come to pass IN QUICKNESS [NOUN]" (i.e. the SEVEN YEARS, from START of END)]
Not One Word In Your Response Above Removes The Fact, The Heavens And Earth Are Dissolved By Fire At The Lords Second Coming As Seen Below.

To be perfectly clear to the readers, when the Lord "Appears", "Reveals", at the second coming, the fire seen below takes place, immediately after the tribulation.

What Are You Going To Do With All That Fire Seen Below In Scripture, "At The Second Coming" Of Jesus Christ, Pretend Like It Dosent Exist?

There Will Be No 1,000 Year Millennial Kingdom Upon This Earth, Jesus Christ Returns In Fire And Final Judgement, Dissolving This Existing Earth By Fire, Immediately After The Tribulation.

This Existing Heaven And Earth Will Be (Replaced) By The New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem, A New Creation, At The Return Of Jesus Christ!

(Behold, I Make All Things New)

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved
, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21:1-5KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Matthew 24:29-30KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

1 Corinthians 3:13KJV
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9KJV
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God
, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Malachi 3:2KJV
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

Psalm 46:6KJV
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Psalm 50:3KJV
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Psalm 97:5KJV
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Isaiah 66:15KJV
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Zechariah 14:12KJV
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Nahum 1:5-6KJV
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

Revelation 20:9KJV
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

So you are hyper pauline 0nly?
No, no I am not. BUT ...

But Paul is the appointed apostle to the Gentiles and I am a Gentile. Paul did understand certain things relating to the Gentile as opposed the Jewish churches that the other apossums did not understand. He had revelations they did not have.

Peter says in his 2nd letter and he speaking in direct reference to why the day of the Lord is delayed .... them Jerusalem apostles really did believe they were in the reign of Christ with His saints as foretold in the prophets. He said "our beloved Paul writes about these things in all his letters many things which be hard to understand"

They could not ... could not get their heads around it, think of it

After Christ was risen for 40 days solid He taught all about the kingdom right? and the FIRST thing they asked was "Lord will you at this time restore the kingdom?" He kept showing them but they couldn't grasp it. The world was not coming to Jerusalem but they must go to the world, not to set up the kingdom but simply to bear witness to it [to Jesus]

They did not foresee as Paul did that the Jewish church would diminish and the Gentile churches were to be planted among the nations, the church age, the famous parenthesis. They didn't understand it.

Consequent to the church being among the nations comes the need for us to be taken out before God's wrath can be poured out, hence the rapture. Only Paul understood these things.

The Jerusalem crowd thought they were on a clear run to the end of the world age, that the reign had begun.

"""If you distinguish tribulation as coming from men from the wrath of God which comes from God then post trib has plenty support."""

Postrib on horses with war like king killing the ac.

Rev 14 has Jesus gathering ripe fruit with a sickle in his hand sitting on a cloud.during the gt

Either that is true and 1 thes is true and we can only have room for a pretrib rapture....or one of them is false and we can no longer trust the bible.

That is what postribbers want us to believe.

The bible is wrong????
Nuffing wrong with the bible ...revs 14 and 1 thess is the wrath of God.

Tribulation is persecution before He comes wrath comes upon the persecutors after He comes.

I will have to confess that I think of myself as being included in this category blessed souls....

Matt 13:16-17
“But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
“for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

Matt 13:23
“But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

Your generic reference choice does not support your position.
Please show us support in scriptures of your position on the rapture. I know you can't but...try.

I don't believe you have any sound basis for passing this judgment on the Jewish Christians within the Jerusalem church. Since Christ had already told the apostles (indirectly) that He was not restoring the kingdom to Israel, the focus of the Hebrew Christians was the propagation of the Gospel. And when persecution arose, they all scattered and went to other parts with the Gospel. Thus churches were established throughout the Roman empire (and beyond) beginning from Judea and Samaria.

And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. (Acts 8:1)

There is no postrib rapture.
Rev 14 Is the last group of the first resurrection.
And that is roughly 2/3 into the gt.

Postribbers have the dead in christ raised after Jesus gathers with a sickle in rev 14

Impossible
Who Do You Think Your Kidding, Not Me!

The Sicle Harvest Is The Last Day Resurrection, Catching Up, And Final Judgement, As The Believers Are Gathered First, And The Wicked Second, As The Angel Has Power Over (Fire) In The Final Judgement Of Gods Wrath.

Revelation 14:18-19KJV
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Yes. He told them, again and again.

Yet when Cornelius sent his embassage to Peter it needed a special revelation from God to show Peter that what God hath cleansed thou shalt not call common. And STILL

Still when Peter went down to Antioch he reverted to the pharasaic Jewish position of treating the Gentiles as unclean and Paul had to withstand him to his face. They thought to impose the Jewish religion upon the Gentiles with circumcision and the law of Moses.

Why did you end your quote so abruptly? "except the apostles ..." they stayed in Jerusalem why? because that's where they thought the whole shebang was to be headquartered, they were acting in accordance with the prophets, they were the kings and priests of the Messianic reign and the nations of the world were to flock to Jerusalem.

And I am not passing judgement upon them, God forbid.

And the prophets were right WHEN the time comes, Christ will reign from Jerusalem.

It was by mutual consent after the controversial council in Jerusalem that the decision was made that Paul was to go to the Gentiles and the Jerusalem crowd would go to the Jews

Iow their position is a weak one and they get owned by the bible.

Remember, ALL OF THEM are about 90 % "anti pretrib" and 10% doctrine used for position.

Iow they really dont know why they are anti pretrib rapture but POSITIVE it can not be.

Yes the first resurrection after Jesus descends to Earth from heaven.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Jesus descends to the Earth on mount Zion in Revelation 14:1.

"We who are alive and remain" mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 are those living and breathing saints who will be harvested from the Earth.

Revelation 14:14-20 shows the harvest of the Earth and yes angels do the harvesting as mentioned numerous places in scripture such as Matthew 13:36-43.

Matthew 13:30 says the tares are harvested first.

The harvest of the wheat and tares is the rapture. Good rapture for saints, fire for wicked.

Where do the "we who are alive and remain" go after Jesus returns? Probably the millennial kingdom because the first resurrection doesn't happen until after the millennial kingdom ends.

The millennial kingdom appears to be spiritual (no occuring on earth) as far as I can tell.

Revelation 20:5
5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

It gets confusing, by try to drop the assumption that the rapture occurs pre-tribulation.

The great tribulation happens in Revelation 13 and the return of Christ/harvest of wheat and tares occur after in Revelation 14.

I'm still seeing post-tribulation rapture.

The 7 plagues (Revelation 15) and first Six bowls of Wrath (Revelation 16) don't come until after Christ returns with His angels to harvest the Earth in Revelation 14.

The great tribulation isn't God's wrath. God's wrath begins Revelation 15 and onward so this is after the great tribulation.

The great tribulation is the devil's wrath because his time is short.

The devil is cast down to earth after the war in heaven just before the great tribulation:

Revelation 12:12
12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The whole point of the great tribulation on Earth is because the devil is basically very angry. This is why he makes war with the saints.
Rev 14 is firstfruit Jews./ main Jewish harvest.
Only jewish lineage.
You are arbitrarily attempting to reconcile rev 14 outside of what it is.

You are assuming there is no mt Zion in heaven.

"""The whole point of the great tribulation on Earth is because the devil is basically very angry. This is why he makes war with the saints"""

No
The POINT is " jacobs trouble".
The point is the time of the gentiles is fulfilled. The harvest of the Jew is through tribulation.

If you miss the bride / groom dynamic , you will invariably miss the gt dynamic.

God is A God of purpose.
The rapture PURPOSE is the gathering of the bride
The gt is the gathering of the Jew.

Both purposes are M I A. In the postrib model.

Postrib rapture is unbelievably non biblical and poorly thought out.

What about Revelation 20, that has a resurrection of the martyrs in the tribulation.
millions of martyrs in the first few chapters. " innumerable number"

Rev 20 is speaking of those that happened a few years prior.
It is not saying any believers are resurrected post trib.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Still when Peter went down to Antioch he reverted to the pharasaic Jewish position of treating the Gentiles as unclean and Paul had to withstand him to his face. They thought to impose the Jewish religion upon the Gentiles with circumcision and the law of Moses.
We need to keep two things in mind regarding the Hebrew Christians (who were first in order of the Gospel being preached). They had been under the Law of Moses for about 1,500 years and even Jesus of Nazareth had been under the Law. He upheld the Law as it was meant to be upheld (not the tradition of the elders or the traditions of men). He even arranged for the Passover Feast exactly as all the other Jews had done. So after Christ was resurrected, the transition to the liberty of Christ could not have happened overnight. We must therefore make allowance for Peter and all the other Jewish Christians. As we see from the epistles of Peter, he had also moved away from the Law later on.

Secondly, Acts 15 makes it crystal clear that the apostles and elders, including Peter would NOT impose the Law on Gentile converts. It was the Judaizers who were stirring up trouble. So what you have said above is incorrect.

Furthermore, Paul was from Tarsus, so he was more familiar with Gentiles, and had no doubt been interacting with Gentiles all his life. Therefore it was far easier for Paul to move away from the Law and preach the liberty of Christ. Paul was able to totally renounce his past and start afresh with Christ.

"What Are You Going To Do With All That Fire Seen Below In Scripture, "At The Second Coming" Of Jesus Christ, Pretend Like It Dosent Exist?"

I've never stated that "fire" won't exist at the time of His Second Coming to the earth.

1) Revelation 8:5 -

And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

2) Revelation 8:7 -

The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

3) Revelation 8:8 -

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

4a) Revelation 9:17 ['and the sixth angel sounded' Trumpet v.13] -

And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

4b) Revelation 9:18 [continued, during the sixth angel Trumpet] -

By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

5) Revelation 10:1 -

And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: [re: in his hand a little book open]

6) Revelation 11:5 [re: 2W, during the Trumpets (till Trumpet 6)] -

And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

7) Revelation 13:13 [re: the 2nd beast, during the 2nd half (during Trumpets 5,6,7 and onward)] - "it was given unto him to..."

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

8) Revelation 14:10 -

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

[the entire verse ^ could be referencing 'during the time of the Vials' (i.e. during the trib), because another verse says "away from the presence of the Lord" (meaning, AFTER He "RETURNS" to the earth / AFTER the trib), which is completely DISTINCT]

9) Revelation 14:18 -

And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

10) Revelation 16:8 -

And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

____________

Now either one can consider that each of these is occurring DURING what 2Th1:7-8 says is "INFLICTING VENGEANCE ON" (same time-slot as 2Th2:10-12 re: the SAME unsaved persons); OR you can make the same point you are making that these 10 References above (to "angels" and "fire") all occur at ONE POINT IN TIME, Christ's Second Coming. (in a split-second moment, or on "a singular 24-hr day").

Which is it?

Are you going to pretend ALL OF THESE do not exist??

I know which one *I* believe.

The Bible can be misunderstood and poorly divided even by well-read people. It happens. It's a complicated book in my honest opinion. Have you considered that Revelation is divided up into parallel teachings?

Seems plausible, but it doesn't exactly say where each teaching ends and another begins nor does it expressly state this is the case, but there is good evidence to suggest it is so.

In any case, keeping in step with the rest of the New Testament, the rapture occurs post-great tribulation at the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Ever wonder how it's possible for two sober minded and intelligent people to look at the same texts and come to two vastly different conclusions? In case of the rapture doctrine, it's usually because of biases. People form their interpretation around single ideas that aren't clearly stated.

Someone, somewhere, wanted the rapture to be pre-trib so he created a doctrine and deceived the world with it.

I'll just stick with Matthew 24:29-31 and trust Jesus.

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

That has nothing to do with Christ not ruling out of Jerusalem but Jesus is saying do not believe anyone is the Christ but Jesus, and He will never appear in the flesh again for when He rules out of Jerusalem He will have a glorified body the same as the saints that rule with Him.

That is why Jesus said there will be many false Christs but do not believe them for only Jesus is the Christ who will never appear in flesh again.

Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

Jesus shall be King over all the earth and in that day there shall be one LORD, and His name one, which means the heathen will not acknowledge any God or religious figure but only Jesus, and the knowledge of the LORD shall fill the whole earth which it will only be Jesus' ways on earth which He rules the earth with a rod of iron.

The heathen have to go up year after year to Jerusalem to worship Jesus which there is no heathen in heaven and there is no heathen at the New Jerusalem so it has to be on this physical earth.

Which this has not happened in the past so it has to be in the future.

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

God will restore the kingdom to Israel in the future and all the Jews will be back on their land.

Eze 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
Eze 39:22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
Eze 39:23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
Eze 39:24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
Eze 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
Eze 39:26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
Eze 39:27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
Eze 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
Eze 39:29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

God will bring the whole house of Israel back to their land and leave none of them in the nations anymore, and they shall know the LORD their God from that time forward, and He will never hide His face from then again, which they will always be in the truth and never stray again.

Which the heathen shall know that God was always on Israel's side but they lost the kingdom temporarily but God will restore the kingdom back to Israel.

Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Jer 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
Jer 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Jer 31:37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

Israel shall never cease from being a nation and God always restores Israel and He will do it again, and that is why the 12 tribes of Israel, and the 12 apostles of the Lamb are written in the New Jerusalem.

Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Mat 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The Jews will not see Jesus again until they acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Savior, so Israel as a nation has to come to the truth.

The New Age Christ, man of sin, will establish peace in the Middle East and it will pave the way for all Jews to go to Israel for the Gentile nations will cause it to happen and the New Age Christ wants them all back on their land but God means it for good towards the Jews.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Jesus came to fulfill the law which He is a sinless man obeying God's commandments and loving people perfectly, and has to fulfill all the roles of Israel, perfect King, perfect High Priest, Prophet, Saint, Mediator, and whatever else He has to fulfill, and perfect Temple and Sacrifice.

But He has not fulfilled the role of perfect King yet for He came as a humble servant, and it must be on earth.

That is what the millennial reign is about Jesus fulfilling the role of perfect King on earth, and then heaven and earth shall pass away and the saints will be at the New Jerusalem which is a place where sin has never been, and sin will never be, and sin will never come up again.
