The idea is off base. It's an error to approach scripture from the stand point of trying to find yourself in the passage. All scripture is about Jesus. The approach to understand the parable of the ten virgins is to ask what is Jesus teaching. What he is Teaching is that He is going to return and some will be ready and some will not. The ones who were ready came prepared so that they would not be distracted by perceived necessity. The ones who are not ready are so because, they are concerned about perceived necessity. Things that are material and of this world. So if the question is are your ready for the return of the Lord today, or are you rather concerned about material things of this world? Then you have a valid question. If it is where do you see yourself in scripture it is not a valid question.
Casting judgement upon people because they are not looking for themselves in the passage but do not know how to articulate the thing that is in their heart, as I was able to; is out of line. Quite frankly it raises some red flags.

In Matthew 25:10, the CONTEXT is concerning "the wedding FEAST [/FESTIVITIES]" (not "the MARRIAGE")... He is not coming then for the purpose of "MARRYING" 10 (or even 5) "virginS". No.
"Feast/Festivities" ≠ "Marriage [/Union]"
(though, yes, the "5 virginS" are also saved persons [thus will ENTER the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom--aka "the kingdom OF THE heavenS--upon His "RETURN" to the earth (see also Lk12:36 and context)]... just like "the FRIEND of the Bridegroom" was also a saved person, but not being identified as "the Bride/Wife [SINGULAR]" [<--the betrothed "A CHASTE VIRGIN [SINGULAR]" of 2Cor11:2, presently])
