Ezekiel 36:25-27 KJV - "Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."

Have you been sprinkled with "clean water"?
Have you been cleansed from your filthiness and all that you "used to" worship and adore?
Have you been given a New Heart?
Have you been given a New Spirit?
Has your Old, Stony Heart been cut out and taken away?
Have you been given a tender Heart of Flesh?
Have you been given the Indwelling Holy Spirit?
Have you been caused by that Effectual Spirit to walk in the Lord's Statutes?
Are you keeping His Judgements?
Are you doing them?

When you Turn to Christ and receive His Holy, Spiritual Circumcision, He will have fulfilled Ezekiel 36:25-27 in your life. This is the Work of Christ as described in Colossians 2:9-15 below.

Colossians 2:9-15 KJV - "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

I'd say it's a work in progress for me.

Psalms 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

Psalms 119:93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

I pray for a heart of flesh, loving and understanding, not rigid and cold. Sometimes I feel like He is moving me in the right direction.

When you say that it is a work in progress, are you saying that God's giving you a new heart is only halfway installed? You've been given half a new heart? You've been given half a Holy, and New Spirit? The Sinful Nature has only been half cut out by Christ? You've only been given a partial Indwelling, Holy Spirit?

The text tells us who we are, in that if we do not identify with these passages, then how can we say that we have been transformed?

Romans 12:2 KJV - "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

How are we transformed? By Christ . . . exactly described in those Ezekiel passages . . . which are repeated in Ezekiel 11.

Ezekiel 11:19-20 KJV - "And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: 20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God."

How does God do this? Through the perfect description of that Holy Work as described in Colossians 2:9-15.

This is the single most important concept in the entire Bible . . . to be Purified of the Evil Sin Nature, to be lifted of the "Veil."

Are you sure? Look at the text again . . .

"And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."

I wish that someone would have shown me these Biblical passages when I was a youngster . . . I would have been able to determine that pretty much the entire Church system is a fraud. As we can see, virtually no one identifies with the Core Doctrine of the Bible . . . and that is the fault of our Jeroboam-like "church" system that we have today. It's bogus.

Outstanding! You are literally praying that Jesus would Circumcise your Heart. If our pastors of today would teach these things, Christians would actually be True Christians . . . instead of evil people masquerading themselves as beacons of light (even from within the pulpit . . . especially from within the pulpit).

She shared that she is saved and is being sanctified, and you turned into a nut job. Why people have to be so specific with Christians who should understand each other is because of a heart that need sanctification. You not picking her words is sin.
My heart was lifted in your original post, and sickened in your response to her. If you think you are with out sin you are a liar and have not the spirit of truth.

Something very nice aabout Psalm 119 is if you read it and replace the words, your wor, with the name of our Lord, Jesus-Yeshua, you will have special blessings. The entire Psalm is full of blessings anyways.

Isn't it sad that we have been kept the Holy Truth from our hundreds of thousands of pastors in the USA . . . perhaps over a million of them throughout the world? And we don't know this? Preachers don't preach on these verses . . . and the MANY like them throughout Scripture? How have we NOT been taught that this is what the entire Bible is about? How do we not know that the Tree of Life, the Tree that Adam and Eve were held back from eating, which would have Purified them . . . how do we not understand that this Fruit on the Tree is Christ on the Cross? We must be purified by Christ, and without this Purification, His Holy Operation of Faith, His Circumcision of Heart . . . there is no Salvation.

It is heartbreaking that only a few were able to even comment, and to those who did . . . thank you! But for this Core Doctrine, the Heart of the Bible (Pun intended) to be missed, is a reflection of the very Stony Heart that the Sadducees and Pharisees had in their day. They thought they knew the Truth . . . but they did not. They were deceived.

Powerful God . . . please wake each of us to your Truth, more and more each day. Please forgive each of us, for we do not understand what we do. Lift us out of the very Confusion that causes us to believe that our Confusion is good, noble and right . . . and bring us into the Truth of your Spirit, illuminating our grievances against so many around us. Cleanse our Hearts so that we would become kind, Loving, and Tender towards one another. Change our Hearts so that when we read of who we are expected to be as a Follower of Christ, that we would become that person. Change us through your Transforming Spirit, that beyond our own capacity, the Spirit would change us before our very eyes and live in a way that we know . . . for sure . . . is the result of your Indwelling Presence.

Powerful God . . . please help us to understand that you are still Powerful, and that when you Indwell and change a person's Heart . . . that we will know it. Help us to know and understand that if our Heart has not been changed, that this would explain why our behavior has yet to improve, but likely just becoming worse and worse. Wake us up to the Core, Heart, and Truth to your Holy Word, which is that in order to become qualified for Heaven, our Qualification comes through the Circumcising Hands of Christ alone. In the Name of our Powerful Lord, Jesus . . . Amen.

Friends . . . if Jesus has died so as to make your His Holy Property, and if He claims you as His own, then you are whole and "complete" by and through Him. There is no in-between.

Colossians 2:10-15 NLT - "So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11 When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature. 12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross."

Dear friends . . . go to just about any Translation (they're all beautiful - especially the KJV and NLT), and you will find the exact same message but with different words. Think hard and long on these words. And if you're really and Truly interested in understanding what this Bible is about, also read Ephesians 3:1-13 and then Ephesians 2:10-16. Combining these two passage sets with Colossians 2:9-15 . . . should be life-changing. It was for me, for the entire Bible finally made sense. It finally made sense!

Right. The Lord places His Spiritual Laws of Life into a True Believer, just as He did with David, the Father of Christ.

Romans 8:2 NKJV - "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."

When a person lives by those implanted Laws, they will have been Enabled to Share in the Divine Nature of Christ.

2 Peter 1:4 NKJV - ". . . by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

Above, we see that there is an "escape" thrown into the text. We "escape" the corruption of the World because the Sin Nature has been cut away. The Curse has been cut away. The Curse applied to all people began in the Garden and the Bible is expressly about Christ being the remedy for this chaotic Curse.

We cannot self-Purify in any way, shape, or form. Transformation comes ONLY by the Circumcision of Christ, lest we be able to boast.

My reference is to our Lord, not directed at the law. I realize the law is spoken of much in the Psalm, and I do love what it says by I am not asking any to replaace grace with the law without mercy, love, justice and understanding.. Thank you and kGod bless hyou.

I also believe I am a work in progress for a new heart of flesh and to sprinkled with clean water. To me to be sprinkled with clean water means my attaining a new spiritual understanding. To attain this new spiritual understanding, I think I have to reject and overcome all my old carnal ways. If I don't reject and overcome all my old carnal ways and things I currently love, I then don't know how I can honestly claim to be a new spiritual creature. I would be deluding myself.

Scriptures show us that the Heart is Circumcised, and following Christ's Operative Work, the Sanctifying process begins. So when a person says that they are a "work in progress," this isn't wrong at all, providing that they understand that the Sinful Nature has been removed and that they are now in the process of overcoming their old habits. They will still be changing (meaning that sin will occur, for change is likely required because of sin), but they will not be influenced by the Mind of Satan, but by the Mind of Christ. Christ sets a person apart from the Law, to be like the Nazarene Christ, which means that they will not be judged by those worldly Laws, but by the Laws of the Spirit of Life. These Laws are alive, for they Cause a person to change.

So, the Purpose of Christ is to redeem, and Colossians 2:9-15 tells us exactly how He does it, and that means that we all have a very clear description of what it is that we should be expecting, which is a Transformation by the renewal of our minds that can only come by the Operative Hands of Christ. Jesus takes away the Curse. We are all to know and understand this fully, for it is the utter Center of our Faith.

Here, again are some things to consider in the regard of all being works in progress.

It is our Fasther Who began a work in each of us, and only He will complet the work on His Day.

I am reminded of such teachings as when in the beginning God said, come, let us make man in our imaged. Do you see any yet? No, His work is in progress for us all.

We are told by God we will be perfect for He is perfect. Sounds like a command but it is really the promise of the completion of His work in each of us.

Now we are a holy, that is separate people already when we believe. There is so much told us in simple and straight forward language, that we tend to gloss over for a time, but in our hearts and souls and mins the Holy Spirit informs us, yes, He does. God bless all, j

I believe that our previously being enslaved to sin, having to serve our flesh has been removed by Christ's sacrifice. It is now my choice whether I decide to continue to serve my sinful nature, or if I decide to overcome my sinful nature. And while I have decided to overcome some of my former sins, I still realize there are some sins that I continue to cling onto.

The physical death of Christ pays the debt of sin. However, Jesus can still send the Indwelling Holy Spirit and lift the Curse from anyone He so chooses, and He was doing that from the beginning, for we know that Abel was a True Prophet of God, and no one can be a True Prophet of God yet be Cursed. Impossible. As you will see below, Christ's Sacrifice pays the debt, the debt of which those of the Old Testament received a slip of credit . . . the Promise of Christ - that He would make all things right.

Exodus 33:19 KJV - "And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy."

I believe whom the Lord chooses to be gracious with are they who choose to overcome their carnal in favor for the spiritual. Think about it. Why would the Lord be spiritually gracious to someone who continuously chooses their carnal over the new spiritual? It is counter intuitive. It's like giving someone something opposite of what they truly want.

Re-read the Ezekiel passages again, but this time I'll add more context. All that is mentioned is what the Lord [Wills} to do, and He will do it, "not because they deserve it," but God WILL DO these things because HE chooses to do them.

Ezekiel 36:25-33 NLT - "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations. 28 "And you will live in Israel, the land I gave your ancestors long ago. You will be my people, and I will be your God. 29 I will cleanse you of your filthy behavior. I will give you good crops of grain, and I will send no more famines on the land. 30 I will give you great harvests from your fruit trees and fields, and never again will the surrounding nations be able to scoff at your land for its famines. 31 Then you will remember your past sins and despise yourselves for all the detestable things you did. 32 But remember, says the Sovereign LORD, I am not doing this because you deserve it. O my people of Israel, you should be utterly ashamed of all you have done! 33 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I cleanse you from your sins, I will repopulate your cities, and the ruins will be rebuilt."

Apart from God, we cannot do anything. That's why the Salvation of a person is entirely the Work of God, and not of ourselves, lest we should be able to boast.

John 15:5 NLT - 5 "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."

If we can't do anything apart from Christ, the VERY last thing we should be able to do, then, is freely choose Him. But that's clearly not what Scriptures state:

John 15:16 NKJV - 16 "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."

John 15:16 is a fulfillment of the Ezekiel passages. Ezekiel uses the phrase, "So that you will follow," and we see the same thing in John 15 when it is said, "that you should go." - The Lord saves and appoints people SO THAT they will be just as the Lord Wills them to be.
