Who wants to be glorified?. all people want is peace and happiness and to avoid the eternal horror of hell . But LO and BEHOLD> Christians preach that they will go to hell if they don't accept Christ as their Saviour indirectly implying that many babies and mentally sick who can't make a decision are the ones that can be saved apart from those who make the decision of choosing Christ.Basically saying that abortion and being mentally ill is a ticket to being saved without being questioned because these didn't have the mental maturity to make a decision. Therefore implying that having mental immaturity is actually a gift?!
Do you even believe in a hell? In God? in the Scriptures as the Word of God? Because if you did. You would know that abortion is murder and murder is evil. Hello?

Haha. Your assumptions are too bad, i am starting to wonder upon what are they based.? I somehow don't even feel the need to explain myself to you. I am not going to bring my Bible to a person who is mentally unable to comprehend it and who first needs care and love and definitely won't start reading something I don't fully comprehend just for the sake of reading it. That's why i am looking for answers.

first off that is not the setting now, is it? As a minister, I visit many people in the hospital, Prison, and other mental health issues as I to provide godly counsel to married couples and men suffering from addictions.

You can attack the word of God all you want, but when the Holy Spirit and the word of God are provided to a person who is needing hope, healing, and restoration God is more than capable of doing so. It is the devil, and people who support the action of sin by falsely calling perversion love, or do what you want to because it's your life that is not there to pick up the pieces of the destruction caused by ungodly counsel. You talk about comprehension fully, yet you are unable to discern the tactics of the enemy who has deceived many and left them to deal with the guilt, depression, that will lead them to addiction and suicide.

I bring the word of God into every discussion because I know the Gospel message is the Power of God that has the truth, and answer for all things pertaining to men and women today. First off I know my words will do nothing.

Paul said " I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the Power of God unto Salvation. Yes in the hospital, in jail, on the streets the word of God is able to reach many and has reached millions. Maybe if you knew how to use the sword, you would see more victories and people come to the Lord.

Now look who's preaching hell here. Did u think a neonate of 1 month going to hell was what I was implying ? Just because I asked a question relating to hell in the thread doesn't imply that I preach that the agnostics are going there, have you wondered why I even asked the question in the first place or are you going to consider it dumb like Funkus did?

I don't believe in tormenting/manipulating sensitive/fragile minds by mentioning hell to those already feeling insecure about their eternity no matter how hard they try. We should know what is the right message to be given on the right occasion. I know people think they should tell what they think as the truth with all honesty to all people but I did this some years ago , but this instead resulted in the person feeling more insecure and I lost my best friend , all because of my way of representing the gospel. The simple mention of hell and the fact that my friend saw that i firmly believed in it and was broken trying to fix the entire world made her think that she had to work extra hard to earn a place in heaven and that her simple faith in Jesus wasn't enough, that there was more to be done, more required, more fruits to come forth before being accepted.
From then , i was sensitive to the approach of how people presented the Gospel. My friend underwent deep inner stress and was diagnosed with acute psychosis having hallucinations about the devil and heard voices saying she will go to hell and all sorts of tormenting things. She was never the same again.
So you should know that i know the impacts and horror some words can bring to a soul even if you don't realize it. Even if I were to believe in hell, isn't love greater than hell? Are we ready to go to hell to save lives? At that time I used to speak huge words about religion and openly about hell and whenever I thought that my words of comfort to someone might lead me to speak blasphemy against the Holy Spirit ( which at that time horrified me to my bones, and i was very sensitive about) , i used to stop speaking and be all quiet , i would stop releasing love for the sake of securing my place in heaven based on my understanding of the Scripture.
So when i see Christians like myself as i was , I am reminded that love is greater than hell. Love fears no hell.
There are so many scriptures that can easily be misinterpreted and misunderstood. All i want to make sure is that people aren't hearing something their sensitive minds would misinterpret. My best friend had a mind which was so easily swayed by words by preachers in the television or in youtube., it was like a good soil for sowing bad seeds at that time. She constantly heard hell, unworthy, unloved , condemned , on repeat until it became the only reality to her. No matter how much about God's love that I tried giving to her after that , it just never seemed like the ultimate truth to her, all she thought as true was the words that the devil sowed at the time she lost her insight.
It pains me to see how easily words of condemnation slip out of our tongues. It pains me. I remember how lonely she felt. I remember how lonely I felt when i heard some Christian's words directed in such a way that I suddenly became unworthy of God's love, as though God deserted me. Words so easily spoken by these people became so tormenting to my mind, I would have nightmares, sleep paralysis, thinking am not enough. Because even though you and most Christians say that everyone is saved by believing in Jesus , on further prodding, it appears , you demand more of a man than that basic simple Gospel quoting parables about the talents and such....which ultimately leaves them confused. I know about confusion. I know about depression. I know about suicides. I have attempted to kill myself owing to the misinterpreted messages of my Christian colleagues who had an uptight face, in the face of utter loneliness and depression and when at the least I didn't want to hear about hell.
I beg you to consider and put yourself in another's shoes. That's all.

That wasn’t the issue, they were saying mankind gets a 2nd chance after hell/Sheol.
The story of the Rich Man and Lazarus disproves that theory.
Abraham answered, ‘Child, remember that during your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things. But now he is comforted here, while you are in agony. And besides all this, a great chasm has been fixed between us and you, so that even those who wish cannot cross from here to you, nor can anyone cross from there to us.’
Sure: nothing aside from a great chasm that has been fixed between two groups
of people, so that even those who wish cannot cross from one side to another.


To say otherwise is to reject the very words of Jesus Christ Himself.
ONLY Jesus Christ CAN cross the great chasm between Heaven and Hell.

ONLY Jesus Christ CAN save.

ONLY Jesus Christ has the keys to Death and Hades (Hell).

Do you think all abortions are caused voluntarily? Are you kidding me? There are plenty which happen involuntarily. There are medical terminologies to classify them like missed abortion, threatened abortion , incomplete and complete abortion. And these aren't all classified for the abortions that happen voluntarily. Many woman cry out to God and ask Him for their next pregnancy to not undergo spontaneous abortions after facing a lot of abortions previously. What does it imply then? So if abortion is murder , then are you saying God starts creating and then goes like " oh, i should stop now" and bam! There comes an abortion. What do you have to say about such abortions? Are you saying God creates and kills inside the womb at the same time?
I'm thinking you're referring to "miscarriages" which are when the woman's body aborts the baby. Some happen and are called premature births.

I am a mother of six children....5 were born alive and 1 was miscarried. I have total trust in God that He knows exactly what He is doing. He does NOT make mistakes.

Many mothers that have had planned abortions suffer emotional pain more than those mothers that have had a miscarriage.

God is faithful and can completely heal all emotional pain of both with His Love, Word and Holy Spirit - ALL 3 agree! :love:(y)

It’s not for us to determine who’s going to hell there are slot of folks there now waiting until the last judgement when hell Is destroyed

“But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

I would say agnostics or anyone who doesn’t believe the gospel is in a very scary place but the lord will work it out it if they repent and believe they can be saved by the lord

You and your friend carry way too heavy a burden regarding salvation. Jesus Christ fullfilled ALL the works necessary for salvation in His own Body with His own Blood. We need ONLY to believe in Jesus Christ and love Him.

The works we do now are ONLY for the Kingdom of God and the ONLY reward for our works is rewards in Heaven.

Our salvation in Jesus Christ is ABSOLUTELY SECURE. You, your friend and all true believers are completely loved and accepted by God, our Beloved. :love:

God doesn't operate in the realm of Chance. His word is certain.

Hebrews 10:26-29 (KJV) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

That's not what I asked.

That has no bearing on the Gospel or the stark reality of a hell.

That only proves a wrong presentation of the Gospel can have negative effects.

Is that an admission you don't believe there is a hell? Jesus took God's wrath upon Himself so we don't have to spend time in hell.

But offering people a 2nd chance as you do, diminishes the urgency of the message and conveys a false sense of security..."Don't worry, you can do what you want not, (live in unbelief) for you'll have another chance after you die physically

I would never direct a person to YouTube preachers. If they have a sensitive mind, i.e. fear God, fear hell, etc., then they would more than likely embrace the message of the Gospel where God freely forgives them on account of Christ.

I have, I have been a Christian counselor counselling young in the faith and struggling for over 30 years, many of those years was living in residence with the troubled individuals (drugs, emotional problems etc.).
But we can't formulate our beliefs on past painful experiences.
You can look at my previous posts, I never add to the sufficiency of Christ's perfect obedience, death and resurrection for the gift of eternal life taken by faith. You'll never see me add our works to what Christ has done FOR us.

When you say "this conclusion," I am assuming that you mean when I said, "There is a chance for lost souls in Hell to encounter the Presence of Jesus Christ and be saved."

Otherwise, I don't understand your question but, I will answer your question based on my assumption:

No where in scripture does it say that souls perish in Hell. Souls that are sent to Hell have been judged as dying on Earth without saving faith in Jesus Christ. They are tormented and wail and gnash their teeth but they do not perish in Hell.

ONLY Jesus Christ CAN save and ONLY Jesus Christ has been given the keys to Death and Hades (Hell).

It is possible that a lost soul in Hell could call on the Name of Jesus Christ and be saved because the FINAL judgment is not until the Lake of Fire.

I meant the conclusion of your post and yes exactly , I’m only asking if that verse you used to support your idea is where it came from so I could look into what you are saying in other places in the Bible to see if there’s anything to it for
My own curiousity I’m not trying to insult or argue I was curious for where the idea is coming from does that clear up the simple question I asked ? Don’t look for any ill Motives I’m just curious about your position

The day of salvation is when a lost soul receives full knowledge of the Truth that Jesus Christ is the One and Only Savior. The lost soul must make a decision to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior or reject Him.

It is possible that the day of salvation could happen even in Hell....Jesus Christ has the keys of Death and Hades (Hell). Any soul that calls upon the Name of Jesus Christ to be saved shall be saved. The scripture never says it must be while they are alive on Earth, we just assume alive on Earth is our only chance.


Death and Hell give up their dead to appear before the Great White Throne of Judgment. If their names are not in the Book of Life, they are cast into the Lake of Fire.

I also think one of the things God has given believers is prayer, and fasting
Intercession instead of quick judgment
Sharing God's word with others is not just the job of ordained leaders. Along with prayer and fasting for others it is our responsibility to share God's truth when prompted to do so. That is not judging a person. It is shining the light on truth that might just free them from deception.

I do understand that God has a specific will for each individual and we don't know what that is. However, there are basic Godly truths that are universal. The following scriptures provide insight concerning God's truth about homosexuality. (Rom. 1:26-27; 1 Cor. 6:9-10, Lev. 18:22, 20:13)

The bible provides specific truth that those who refuse to repent of such lifestyles will not see the kingdom of God:
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor 6:9-10

I’m not sure someone in the book of life would be in hell I don’t think that’s the right interpretation to think some in hell will be in the book of life and saved . I think the book of life represents the gospel and New Testament

and the books of judgement the law and prophets and Old Testament. There’s a lot of dead from the ot but believers in the nt aren’t dead when they die they are already dead buried and born again with Jesus they exist in the book of life

just my own musings but appreciate you sharing your thoughts gives me a reason to study the subject at some point

Sharing God's word with others is not just the job of ordained leaders. Along with prayer and fasting for others it is our responsibility to share God's truth when prompted to do so. That is not judging a person. It is shining the light on truth that might just free them from deception.

I do understand that God has a specific will for each individual and we don't know what that is. However, there are basic Godly truths that are universal. The following scriptures provide insight concerning God's truth about homosexuality. (Rom. 1:26-27; 1 Cor. 6:9-10, Lev. 18:22, 20:13)

The bible provides specific truth that those who refuse to repent of such lifestyles will not see the kingdom of God:
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor 6:9-10

Amen All sin is sin a liar will end up in hell too . but this matter of sexual sin in any manner is given a specific warning as being worse than others because Gods spirit is dwelling with us and it is an abomination to him .

“Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

when we receive the holy spirit he doesn’t come only on sundays to be in and with us he’s also there on Saturday night at 2 am he’s there when we are doing right and when we are doing evil he’s there with us to

The soul that rejects Jesus Christ as Savior with full knowledge shall definitely perish but, NOT in Hell.

The day of salvation is when a lost soul receives full knowledge of the Truth that Jesus Christ is the One and Only Savior. The lost soul must make a decision to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior or reject Him.

It is possible that the day of salvation could happen even in Hell....Jesus Christ has the keys of Death and Hades (Hell). Any soul that calls upon the Name of Jesus Christ to be saved shall be saved. The scripture never says it must be while they are alive on Earth, we just assume alive on Earth is our only chance.

Death and Hell give up their dead to appear before the Great White Throne of Judgment. If their names are not in the Book of Life, they are cast into the Lake of Fire.

Will there be a second chance for salvation after death?

ANSWER

While the idea of a second chance for salvation is appealing, the Bible is clear that death is the end of all chances. Hebrews 9:27 tells us that we die, and then face judgment. So, as long as a person is alive, he has a second, third, fourth, fifth, etc. chance to accept Christ and be saved (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31). Once a person dies, there are no more chances. The idea of purgatory, a place where people go after death to pay for their sins, has no biblical basis, but is rather a tradition of the Roman Catholic Church.

To understand what happens to nonbelievers after they die, we go to Revelation 20:11-15 which describes the Great White Throne judgment. Here takes place the opening of the books and “the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” The books contain all the thoughts and deeds of those being judged, and we know from Romans 3:20 that “by the works of the Law is no flesh justified.” Therefore, all who are judged by their works and thoughts are condemned to hell. Believers in Christ, on the other hand, are not judged by the books of works, but their names are found written in another book—the “Lamb’s Book of Life” (Revelation 21:27). These are the ones who have believed on the Lord Jesus, and they alone will be allowed to enter heaven.

The key to understanding this is the Lamb’s Book of Life. Anyone whose name is written in this book was “saved before the foundation of the world” (Ephesians 1:4) by God’s sovereign saving grace to be part of His Son’s bride, the church of Jesus Christ. These people need no “second chance” at salvation because their salvation has been secured by Christ. He chose us, He saved us, and He will keep us saved. I think many if given a second chance would believe, especially if they see Him face to face. Paul, who was a worse person than Lazarus, prior to conversion, had plenty of second chances and finally converted when he saw Jesus face to face. I think the same type of conversion can take place, even if the opportunity took place after death. Paul was very lucky.
