to u they were pertinent... to Catholics they could have been misguided... and a few other words come to mind... In other words, some questions Protestants pose... operate from a false premise...
therefore, a simple answer will not suffice... Take an RCIA class if u want to know whatthe Church really teaches... and I hope u find a REAL Catholic teaching it... nothing is guaranteed these days... sigh

Transubstantiation is in the mind of Catholics that can't think for themselves.
Jewish expositors used manna as a symbol for spiritual food. Jesus referred to eternal life not literal bread. Drinking the blood of the lamb or any animal was totally forbidden.
Everything that a protestant believes is mythology to rusted on catholics.
What you are actually saying is that you know nothing about protestant beliefs except what you have been told by the catholic church which is hardly an authority on protestant beliefs. They are an authrority on their version of protestant beliefs but what church doesn't make up lies to protect their territory.

I have never once heard the Catholic Church by way of its priests discuss the Protestant "churches" to speak of..
so there's that..
I did hear a good priest tell a joke once:
man tells his priest he is losing the faith

So the catechism is wrong? Ive seen people post verbatim from the catholic "holy book" and you claim protestants dont understand
there are different catechisms
I tend to only trust the Baltimore Catechism which was written before the loony liberalism infested the Church.
But even if one were to quote from that (which I have no inclination to believe anyone at this forum has)
that does not compare to someone who has studied Catholicism rather in-depth and more importantly has LIVED it.. as I have for decades. I've been both inside and outside the RCC
inside is better.. although the way things are going in the hierarchy... all the rebellion and unorthodox teaching.. moving "priests" around rather than defrocking them... I just don't know what to say...
