The only "great" we need is the Great Spirit. Let us stand upon the Rock rather than a multitude of contradictive squabbling sands.
The saints help us find the Spirit

The Spirit will also take us to saints

They are its prior activity

Hello Oyster, and any who will.

The following is a link to The Losst Writings........... Of course the Holy Spirit will attest or reject for us those which are poppycock, but there is some thing good in the ones you will recognize.

The Lost Gospels of Jesus Now these are writings which are supposed to be associated with the Bible, but they are not canonized by man. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead the way.

Acts 19 makes clear belief is not enough

John 17:20-26 has Jesus pray for believers, that they come to know oneness

Inaccurate, a saint is one who has experienced theosis
This is a bit too lofty and intellectual for this child. Yes, I am studied but many are not so well educated by man, only by the Holy "Spirit,

The Spirit has been showing me every way possible to say it...

Logos is reason, intellect... it is part of the package... or the package itself.

It is why it is important to actually be baptized by Spirit, which is Jesus way...

The water ritual is Johns way.

I could go to Hebrew or German but that too would be to no avail. I prefer to keep language at the most common level possibel, for myself and for the sake of others..
There is a kernal of folks here who love to talk over the heads of others, and much of the time over their own heads.

It is better to ask questions and engage than become defensive

Here is a question, why to so many resort to Greek terms unknown to the vast majority who read the Word in the reader reading in his own language?
Sorry, but those words used have perfectly adequate translations into each's own language.
It seems the intellectual believers can only feel competent in faith if they can use words and termas made up since our Lord gave us the Word in simple terms. I know this from English not from the original Hebrew. I make reference to the reality that the Old testament, as named, atully contains the New Tesstament for those who have had the veil of Moses removed.

I have never heard of that term before. It is very useful. Thank you for sharing.

In a western sense, to believe in Christ is to engage in theosis. Those that the love of God never took hold in were "never one of us to begin with". Theosis is a great term to describe what a real belief in Christ would look like. There may be disagreements about what true theosis looks like. The OT describes saints as those that have a standing covenant with God through blood sacrifice. So long as one is in Christ, that blood sacrifice is paid. Anyone in Christ is a saint. If theosis is the process of coming into Christ, all saints have experienced theosis. But the specifics of theosis are still up for discussion.

I am able to put into words a description of my own conversion to believing Jesus Yeshua.

I had been asking The One Who Is if all was goint to be well with His creatures and Creation. Also I asked Him to reveal Himself if there is a good outcome to alls o even I, the least of creatures, could know Him

Walking across the Quad at the U. of I. I was prayer-thinking to Himward., for I believe He has responded to my quesstion in a dream the previous night. I was saying in prayer, gee mankind is evil, wow is man ever evil. Then, suddenly I realized and said in my prayer, Hey, I am a man, You are It.

In that instaant with that realization everything turned to light, and Light entered into me. With the Light engtering me came a message but without actual words, simply understanding. I was told with total authority, Everything is going to bejust fine.

I was given faith, and led to Jesus Yeshua.

Oh that all we could understand this about each other. God comes into each person as that individudal needs, and only He know ho that is. We are all unique to Him yet all becoming identical to Him. He will reveal this mystery upon His completion of the work He began in each of us. Halleluyah, He is truly Good all of the time.amen.

If you are addressing my post, I said nothing to the contrary. Have you not read that no man comes to the Son unless the Father draws him to Him? Likewase the Son draws all to the Father.

Perhaps if you review Isaiah 9:6 it will all be clearer.
If you were not directing your post to mine, just pass over this commentary.. God bless you.

wasnt talking to you and yes I know the Father draws all to the Son. Not all act upon it.
