People on high horses who speak in third person perhaps have missed the nature of the question.

Of course the right answer is "A woman after God's own heart" or a "Proverbs 31 Lady"

Or how about that quote everyone hates about how a womans heart is somehow buried so Deep in Christ that a Christian guy who is not even looking will find it. Pretty much the same way a surfer becomes a shark's breakfast in the waves. He wasn't looking for that either but, it was there waiting for him.

But if we are going to talk about ''Types'' then we have to discriminate. Personality/ Appearance/ Culture, whatever it is that separates people from people, that is what we are looking for.

I would like to give the personality the benefit of the doubt (assuming she's not as bitter as the day is long), I'm going to assume she can read and write too and that she has a relationship with Jesus. Boom, all these things I'm willing to take for granted. But the way she looks? Heaven forbid I find certain women attractive.

Perhaps I'm not looking for a poetic and dreamy women who runs through elysian fields, beneath pastel clouded skies, wearing wisps of silk and praising Jesus all day long. Maybe I find Precious Moments Figurines Nauseating. Shallow or not, I don't believe there is a right answer. We are just people and we all don't fit into each other's boxes. No matter how much we want to fulfill some stereotype of what the ideal Christian man/woman should be, we are as different as the colors that we find painted on the wings of butterflies or on the wings of WW2 fighter aircraft.

Maybe I want GI Jane, who jumps out of helicopters, dressed like a combat medic to save children in third world countries. Or maybe I want to fall in love with a Female who dreams of becoming a Pastor and has a Masters in Theology and 3rd degree black-belt in Dance Dance Revolution.

Or maybe I know that God knows my heart and I know that He knows whats best for me, everything else is wishful thinking ;)

Amen to that. The "type" is always personal and you never say you want an ugly guy/woman, that's the truth! And well, my type was described taking for granted he is a godly man. We all dream with our type.

Henry lol.

You know, Nod, right up to this point, I thought you were a dude. Then I read this, and I was like, "Wow, most guys don't have expectations like that... Most guys... Guy....? OMG!"

I suppose this would explain why all my efforts to charm Nod all this time have failed miserably... Good thing I never asked for a date. (I'm KIDDING, y'all ;)).

Other than preferring a gent who is taller than me ... which isn't hard since I'm 5'3 ... I've recently had my "type" ideas blown out of the water. Which is a good thing, it's opened my eyes some ...

I guess... she would have to be under 5'5"? Aaaand... is, uh, kind and caring? Knows how to pay the bills? :p I dunno. She would have to have the same practical knowledge for the area that I live in. Living in a remote, fly-in community can be somewhat expensive... So... I dunno. Whomever God provides would suffice. She'd at atleast strive to be a 31, rather ten a 10.

I'm still tired. I need more coffee. :p

I'm so glad someone finally said that. I've been afraid to. Maybe we should begin a support group. We could use them for target practice. :)

Hmmmm...my type:
Being a believer is a given; fun, but on the quiet side most of the time; active; thoughtful; compassionate; affectionate; witty; curious; intelligent; loves music; loves learning; must love dogs.

On the physical side, I don't have hair/skin/eye color preferences, but if I'm being honest, I do tend to be drawn to broad shoulders and strong legs. :p

Seeing as Nod is a Predator and I am an Alien, this totally rules out any possibility that we could date. I mean... interspecies dating? I'm guessing that would definitely qualify as "unequally yoked."

Don't be jealous, Zero. The pic Nod posted is what happened to her AFTER I tried to ask her out (and before I tried to lure her into a room of breathing egg-pods that will ruthlessly spawn Facehuggers at any given moment...) I have that effect on people! :D

Oddly enough unless you're a giant of a woman I most likely meet your requirements, but you're probably a little old for me. Anyway, my type is preferably red or lighter colored hair, shorter than me (the mid 5 ft range is ideal), and they must possess the ability to spend more than 6 hours away from me without calling (unless we're married then it's different of course).
