I’ve been praying like I drink water every day. Frequently! And in the middle of the night! And the first thing upon waking and right before bed. And many times in between, All throughout the day.

Sometimes I laugh and wonder if God is sick of hearing from me. My most powerful prayers are when I get on my knees and bow down and the tears just start flowing and the snot down my face on the floor.
Like what happened this morning when I was having an anxiety attack.

Prayer is powerful. I was able to get over my panic and worry once I got up off the floor. There’s something about humbling yourself and showing your raw heart and soul to God. Jesus Christ is my healer. THANK YOU LORD. Amen!

Does anyone have any prayer requests? I’m happy to include them in my prayers.

Prayer can cause things to happen that in the natural course of history should not and could not have happened, but because we prayed, God made a way. Prayer can create change. God is reachable and touchable through our prayers.
The Lord tells us many things about this powerful force in our lives, even tells us what to pray for. We are to pray for God's kingdom to be here on earth. God hears all who worship him, but does not hear sinners.

I read of several people who first forgave and gave love to family as they prayed for healing for themselves. Their prayer that was answered in those cases.

“Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him” (John 9:31).

To be closet to God, we need to clean our souls as much as possible, but sin separates us from His voice. To be forgiven, we need to be a forgiver.

Matt. 6:14 “For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 “But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

the title being the truth about prayer I thought I’d add to your good post another quote or two

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
‭‭John‬ ‭18:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:24-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

just one of many true quotes about prayer in the gospel

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there’s a lot of truth about prayer in the scriptures to consider too ❤️
