I think the gospel ought to be for EVERYONE not just young single finnish women lol
But one depressed sinner cant spread it to a whole country.
Look, I have accepted living in the very godless country that is Finland. What I want is a girl. A girl. And a family. I have realized I dont need an entire society to enjoy life. I just need a few people I can trust. And a girl of God would be so exciting. Faith is a beautiful trait in guys but even more so in girls. Ow my heart starts to burn so much everytime I think in this girl. My passion is really strong ! This girl will brighten the darkness of my life. This girl will fill my brain with "the world is not lost" phrases. This girl will turn my pessimism into optimism, and my sadness into happiness. This girl will symbolize my bright and positive side. And the best of all, this girl will symbolize the love of God for me. She will love me with all her heart until death. And when I die, she will pray deeply for my Ascension to Heaven. Ow Im going to explode of passion. I want a daughter of God so much !
Ok, I may be turning this into an idol. Sorry. But I want so much this imperfect God crazy girl !
Here's what I've learned for what it's worth Kauko. There's this quote by Benjamin Franklin, one of our founding fathers of USA, and it's something like if you pursue safety over freedom you'll end up with neither. In the same vein, I think if you pursue women over personal excellence you'll likely end up with neither. Women choose mates sideways or up. What I mean by that is women want someone that comes from similar backgrounds economically, intellectually, emotionally - fill in all the blanks - or they choose mates economically superior or with passions greater than theirs. Either way, women choose men with aim. Purpose.
Women want to be able to stare across the table and see a giant. Not in a physical sense, but someone they're proud of, someone they respect, a man who leads. Takes care of things. Makes decisions and sticks to them. Has a good heart and a passion for their faith, whatever their faith is. Please notice I left that last sentence (whatever their faith is) fairly ambiguous.
They're not going to be attracted by the guy sitting across from her when all he's got is passion for her. She's looking for passion for life. Pursuit of excellence. Now, it's pretty clear you've got the passion, but if there's advice to be had it's to have passion for your faith and your work and for excellence in all you do that does NOT stop at marriage and if you do, I can guarantee you that women will come. It just happens.
The reason I left that sentence - "whatever their faith is" - ambiguous is because you have the power to enact change. God is the heart changer, but He uses us as the farm hand. The planter of His seed is you. I'm suggesting this because even if a woman is not a Christian and in a non Christian world, God's seed can be planted by her man she admires. Her man she respects. Her man she listens too and believes is trustworthy. The man with passion for Christ. Often other men with pursuits for excellence more worldly let that seed lie in fallow.

You might want to look up that thread, as what he was saying about his Christian dream girl was nearly identical.
Perhaps you might pick up some additional advice there.
I use the word girl because I want to specifically denote women younger than me.

Its very much lust. But not just sexual lust. Its lust for many things. Lust for cuddling, lust for kissing, lust for touching a girls face, lust for listening her voice, lust for spending time with her, lust for praying with her, lust for reading the Bible with her, lust for eating something with her, lust for lying with her in the grass, lust for grabbing her hand. Its basically lust for a girl of God, in the romantic aspect, not as a sex object. I never in my life fantasized with an one night stand. Its so disgusting. Its the connection what drives me crazy.How are we to interpret this?
Hi kauko so basically you are just longing for a girlfriend BIG TIME and you are craving to experience all the pleasures associated with having one..
What has made it worse is that there is not much chance of meeting a Christian female and this must surely made the longing even harder to deal with.Meeting someone is a pretty pragmatic thing and guess meeting someone from another region doesn't appeal you much because of the distance and having someone close by is naturally much easier.
You must be burning away without any real way to cool down 1000%..the only solution would be to gave someone..I guess the moral corruption around you must be a real downer and things are always dangerous sexually in such environments.
We can only emphasise with you and give both practical and spiritual advice..I was in the same situation many many ago and I made all the wrong decisions that could of cost me my life... but for the grace of God.

Most girls dont like boys. I know because I work in a school and they tell me most boys are disgusting. And older boys are bullies. sorry but thats the reality, and christian girls are no different, they dont want to be bullied either by boys telling them what to do all the time ezpecially if the boys are older!

Point 1 - Yes, I have heard this a couple of times. They say girls want guys who enjoy and have a rich life. They say "you must develop yourself and stand out in some area" they say "you must be brilliant and successful". Well, what if I dont stand out in anything ? What if Im not brilliant in any aspect ? What if Im not successful ? What does a 'rich life' mean ? Does all this mean Im utter trash and will be alone forever ?
Do you mean, all girls want an Aristotle, a Mozart, a Da Vinci, a Michelangelo, a Shakespeare, or what ? Or maybe they want a Bezos ? What if Im not any of these ? Im 29, Im not rich and I dont think Im especially good in anything. I dont particularly enjoy anything in life. Im rather a social outcast. I dont do anything in my free time. Just depressed all the day horrified about being alone forever. And replying and writing all this in a chronic bad temper. It sometimes feels like everyone in this planet hates me. Maybe my character makes me somewhat repulsive. But I think its my religiosity what makes me especially hideous. Its better to live as a disabled person than as a Christian in Finland. Being a Christian is the easiest way to be a criminal without going to prison here. Being a Christian is the biggest predictor of eternal loneliness and depression here. I cant imagine what my life will be like in my 40s or 50s. Maybe I will be the prime example of a stereotypical Finnish guy: a fat depressed drunkard shouting "per---- !" all the time.
Point 2 - Lets suppose I become a better person. What if I never find a good Christian girl anyways ? What if my only chances are with unbelievers or fakes ? Because I will have nothing if theres no supply of what I seek, no matter how good or manly I am. Without supply, theres nothing. Why would I need to become attractive for a Christian girl if theres NO ONE in my area ? I will NEVER date a girl who is not a Christian. NEVER. They are invisible for me. Fights would start as soon as we meet. I would end my first date expelled from the restaurant. "I have the power to enact change" really yes Im Jesus now. Have you ever wondered why the Calvinists believe in predestination ? Its not as ridiculous as it may sound. While it may not necessarily be 100% true, it may have some truth in it. Some people may have been created to be burnt in hell when they die from the beginning. Do you think real psychos may change ? Why did the Pharisees and doctors of the law never change despite all Jesus teachings, and worse, killed Him in the cross ? Because they were not born of God. They were born of the devil. They were born to be judged and burnt at the end of their days. So, how could I ever change them if not even Jesus could change them ? Very few Christians have figured out this is the message of God to those who believe they can magically change people. Lets get real. ONLY GOD can change people. And its not His will to change everybody. But this said, lets not divert the topic. I dont want to waste my life in trying to change an unbelieving wife and risk the future of my children. Just think a wife is not 'anybody'. A wife is somebody you will live with for the rest of your life, or for a very long time. An unbeliever from the street is not an unbeliever spouse. You dont share your life with the first person. But you do with the later. This is why I need a wife of God.
Hello Kauko I am meaning that the term 'burning away' I was using as a reference to what paul says in the bible.To want to have a girlfriend is not a sin and it is clear that there are things you are really wanting to experience from having a Christian girlfriend which you have yet to experience.So till that time Comes you will naturally experience the longings and yearnings for such things..'burning away'.Its not always easy to stop such longings and yearning..most of the time they are always there yet can vary in intensity.I was saying that the longing and yearning can only really be lessened by you actually meeting someone or God makes a way for you to be able to cope much better with your desire for a girlfriend.
In regards to what I mentioned about the moral corruption around you is about the things you mentioned in your post about all the sexual sin going on ect..Such levels of sexual immorality in any society can make it dangerous sometimes because trying to live Gods way in the midst of such sexual sin has it's fair share of added pressures.
