FYI if you die today in a car did you not die serving the Lord? or you only are willing to do so on the last day? Arrogant unlearned comment about others you did not even know. You are not promised tomorrow, so stop acting like you are better than others You very well may deny Jesus as many have already done so and it is not for their life on the line it was due to standing for God was unpopular or not PC.
Arrogant to you because you want a free ticket out..wow And by the way, no one said anything about dying right now... this is about going through the tribuation. First off, this text does not say "Christ THE firstfruit..."
...there is no definite article here in this text.
Secondly, I made posts already about how James 1:18 indicates there is MORE THAN ONE "firstfruit" (and indeed Lev23 shows TWO DISTINCT mentions of "firstfruit")... which I won't elaborate on here, for this post.
(I'm willing to link those posts if you have further questions, or I can try to answer what questions may arise...)

^ [again... there is MORE THAN ONE "harvest" in Scripture and in nature (as well as MORE THAN ONE "firstfruit" - James 1:18, Lev23)... *we*/"the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY" are NOT the "WHEAT" harvest--the "WHEAT" harvest being harvested by means of a "tribulum" (harvesting implement); but the EARLIER "harvest" is harvested by means of "TOSSING INTO THE AIR" and BLOWING away the chaff; my recommendation is to see my previous posts on the TWO mentions of "FIRSTFRUIT" in LEVITICUS 23

Not that I'm aware of. I think they derive this belief based off of passages saying that the Lord returns at an hour you do not expect like a thief in the night.
Study of the scripture actually shows that Jesus returns after all of the false prophets, false Christs, and Beast/False Prophet combo have their fill of deceiving the world.
The Jesus of the Bible does not return until after the great tribulation. Looking for Jesus before or during the GT is a good way to fall into deception. Let me remind you: there are millions of pre-tribbers looking for Jesus before the GT.

The verses you are alluding to (or attempting to--but which you've conflated somewhat) are speaking of His Second Coming TO THE EARTH; the "imminence / imminent" term (as pre-trib scholars are using it) DOES NOT pertain to THAT point in time (to His RETURN to the earth Rev19). NO.

I had Matthew 24:42-44 in mind and I think it fits what I was saying just fine.

I did not brag I was providing context after I was insulted that I was trying to Get a free Ticket out of death. I don't brag about my service there are far greater men and women than I. If you don't like my Pithy attitude after you and some others have talked down and lambasted those who have a Pretrib Rapture acceptance in what they see in scripture that you do not agree with then cry foul? LOL hahaha
