Revelation 7:9-17

Easy-to-Read Version

The Great Crowd
9 Then I looked, and there was a large crowd of people. There were so many people that no one could count them all. They were from every nation, tribe, race of people, and language of the earth. They were standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They all wore white robes and had palm branches in their hands. 10 They shouted loudly, “Victory belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
11 The elders and the four living beings were there. All the angels were standing around them and the throne. The angels bowed down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God. 12 They said, “Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanks, honor, power, and strength belong to our God forever and ever. Amen!”
13 Then one of the elders asked me, “Who are these people in white robes? Where did they come from?”
14 I answered, “You know who they are, sir.”
And the elder said, “These are the ones who have come out of the great suffering. They have washed their robes[a] with the blood of the Lamb, and they are clean and white. 15 So now these people are before the throne of God. They worship God day and night in his temple. And the one who sits on the throne will protect them. 16 They will never be hungry again. They will never be thirsty again. The sun will not hurt them. No heat will burn them. 17 The Lamb in front of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to springs of water that give life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

" It does not say one can not repent after death. "

Yes, the grammar of Hebrews 9:27 does not rule out the possibility of people repenting after death.
I think you replied to the wrong person there. I did not state what you have in quotes. Nor did I mention Hebrews 9.

My question is, what would be the point? If someone rejects Jesus while they are living, why would you imagine they would suddenly have a change of heart after they die? There is plenty of opportunity to repent while alive. Further, no man came come to the Lord lest the Father draw Him. If God does not draw you to the Lord while you are alive, why would you imagine it would happen after death?
Why would he not?

He is not willing that anyone should go to hell.

If the gospel was preached to the dead from Noah's flood, how do we know this couldn't happen again to the dead from modern times?
That's assuming, Jesus preached to the dead from before the flood, after His Resurrection.

I've heard it debated that the "spirits in prison" are the fallen angels because they are spirits and scripture refers to them as ones mentioned to be cast down in chains and imprisoned. I would post all the verses that are used to suggest this but that would make for a very long post.

So I'll just reference them and you can look them up.
Jude 1:6
2 Peter 2:4

So the debate or theory is that 1 Peter 3: 18-22 is actually be talking about the fallen angels.

Also preaching can just mean to proclaim something....It doesn't say what he preached or proclaimed...

He may have went and proclaimed that he had overcame and had won the victory.

Colossians 2:14
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

****Then there is also another theory that Jesus preached by His Spirit through Noah

Scriptural support for this theory is in
1 Peter 1:10-12 KJV
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

So, because hell scares the hell out of them they will repent. It has nothing to do with Jesus. I don't think that's gonna fly.
Every tongue confess.... We can not say their repentance is not real, only God would know for sure.

You are teaching classic Jehovah's Witness Doctrine.
So that explains why you believe that Christ rejectors who die, get a few more chances after they are dead.

Here is the reality....

On Earth, Christ was the Lamb, slain, as an offering.
When He rose again, He didn't resurrect as a Lamb. He came out of the Grave as a Lion.
He is not in Heaven now, as a savior. He is in Heaven as a King.
He will be returning, not to die again, but to bring Wrath and a 1000 yrs reign.
He won't be offering salvation as a King, to Christ rejectors, who died.
Believe it.
Stop name calling, be polite and gentile

1 Peter 3:15-16

Easy-to-Read Version

15 But keep the Lord Christ holy in your hearts. Always be ready to answer everyone who asks you to explain about the hope you have. 16 But answer them in a gentle way with respect. Keep your conscience clear. Then people will see the good way you live as followers of Christ, and those who say bad things about you will be ashamed of what they said.

This is a learning discussion, not a debate of fixed positions. Learn from it and work on II Peter 1 in our lives.

Exactly.

Everyone who is in hell would gladly believe on Christ, today, and yesterday, and tomorrow.
But they can't, because that is not FAITH.
The Cross is not raised in HELL, its raised on EARTH.

Its not FAITH when you can see it........and if you are in hell, you can see it.
Its only faith when you have to believe it, and yet, you can't see it.

"the evidence of things NOT SEEN"......"but hoped for"..

The judgement is the judgement, it is not an opportunity to repent.
Lets say you die, and you find yourself lined up on the wrong side with the goats. Are you saying you will not fall on your knees and repent?

The rich man asked that his family be warned so they did not suffer he same fate as he.

He understood there was no chance of a second chance for him.

He did not want the same for his loved ones.
You must be reading into the text. I do not see him saying that. We all tend to read into the text what makes sense to us.

We are natural born enemies of God. Nothing in Scripture suggests that changes with death.

Those who die without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God are spiritually dead.

Spiritual rebirth is required to give one a heart capable of loving God, and seeing His kingdom.
Right now I do not see anything in shows me that God can not draw people to him after death, nor that the HS can convict people of sin after death.

James 2:26

Easy-to-Read Version

26 A person’s body that does not have a spirit is dead. It is the same with faith—faith that does nothing is dead!

Why would Jesus preach to angels? about the gospel or resurrection? Yes, I am assuming the subject matter of the preaching.
