two fold? Not sure what you mean here can you explain.

In my view, 1948 and 1967 is not even close. (maybe just a start?) It did have to happen for many OT prophecies to be able to be completed, they still need to build the temple.. which could start any day from what I am hearing

The Thread is about could [Dry Bones] be about the Resurrection of Christ.
I have believed it was always about 1948, I am also mentioning 1967 they reclaimed Jerusalem (a bit of an ending to the Gentile Trodding Down era).

But if it turns out Dry Bones was about both the Resurrection and Israel 1948, then it was a TWO-FOLD Prophecy. One Prophecy that ended up being multiple Events at different time points in humanity.

How would you get the ressurection out of this prophecy? I don‘t see it

I don't either, but this Thread is about that [is it possible Dead Bones means Resurrection of Christ].

I don't believe that is what it means.

But if it turns out to means both the Resurrection and 1948, it is called a Two-Fold Prophecy.

Well I don’t think it means either. But I see what your saying now. Thanks

a few things to note

Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’ ”

1 this is the house of Israel. Not the church
2. He is speaking of returning them to their land. Israel is the only people who were promised land, And he gives the reason.
3. When they see it happen. They will Know God did it. This makes no sense concerning the rapture or ressurection

continuing

say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.” ’ 20 And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.

21 “Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.

4. Israel is seen here as two nations. We know from the OT, The northern kingdom (israel) and the southern kingdom (judah) were decided. We also know Israel was defeated by Assyria because of her sin, and in AD 70 Judas was defeated and removed completely from her land by Rome.
5. He said he will take them from the lands they were in (because of the scattering as James called it in James 1) and bring them together
6 He said he would make them one nation AGAIN. This can only reference to National Israel as they are the ONLY nation which was split

23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

24 “David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. 25 Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children,

7. Again showing they were scattered because of there sin (see leviticus 26 which was fulfilled in the scattering)
8. It says when they return they will have repented and no longer commit their sins for which they were scattered
9 It says they will be back in THERE OWN LAND.

I think if we study this with other passage of scripture. This can only be refering to the restoration of Israel as prophesied in the last days.
There must be a thousand different opinions concerning the ten tribes...I believe yours is the correct one.

Many teach the dry bones vision of Ezekiel 37 is the restoration of the nation of Israel. I have a completely different take on this story as I see this story represents the resurrection. Your comments appreciated:
Why would the saints be considered dry bones when they have the Spirit which they have living water in them, eternal life, and the kingdom of God is within them, and belong to the kingdom, and they are sealed unto the day of redemption, are born again, and part of the body of Christ while on earth.

Where does the dry bones come in at which dry bones seem to indicate in a bad position but the saints are in a good position even while on earth.

Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Eze 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
Eze 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

Eze 37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

It is definitely speaking about Israel when they will become one kingdom which is in the future when God restores the kingdom to Israel.

since you capitalized the word book, I guess you have a private revelation from the Bible... probably referring to the beast and or the anti-Christ

when people go all spooky and say things directed only at those who share their 'findings', it makes me want to go BOO!
I was simply translating Bible. Bible means Book.

Also, most of us folk from the hills will say Book for Bible, and that is the root of it.

that is what I said. I said you were referring to the Bible

well most people in this forum are not from the hills, so no reason to be 'hillish' and expect everyone to know what you mean

you can expect people to ask what you are actually saying

One comment more, and I am finished. Perhaps my one reference was hillish" however my first reference is to the meaning and in part the etymology of the word, Bible. It means Book.

You still did not answer her question.

saying look it up in the bible does not help. Not everyone knows your particular interpretation of the bible. so we can read it. It does not mean it will help us understand what YOU MEANT.

She asked for what YOU THINK. not what the bible says, she has her view of what the bible says.
