This is a low level Children's Thread for God's Children - Not suitable for higher educational minds as yourself - it will dissappoint you.

Then Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.
Phillippians 2: 4
Uh huh. This "higher educational mind" sees right through you. I'll leave you to your games.

Firstly, sola scriptura meant Scripture was the supreme authority over the church. It did not mean Scripture was the only authority. Luther, Calvin, and the other reformers used other authorities like reason and tradition. They developed arguments using logic (reason) and learned from the writings of past Christians (tradition) as they explored the Bible. Yet the Bible was the supreme authority that ruled reason and tradition because Scripture alone was infallible precisely because it is God’s word. All other authorities (including church leadership) were fallible and must submit to Scripture. As Heinrich Bullinger said: “As God’s word is confirmed by no human authority, so no human power is able to weaken its strength”[Ok god is not the bible but he is the word]The bible is the staff ]god is the shepherd
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, ( this life in this world )

I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s both the rod and the staff it both rebukes us as a rod , and also holds us up as a staff there’s no argument that “the Bible is God “ the argument is the bible holds his true word we need to hear and believe and tells us many in the world will distort it and lead people away from what is true

we don’t want to cast away or lose trust in the staff we lean on or we will fall not reject the correction of his rod and be bastard sons without rebuke

the things in scripture are essential and immutable and can save us if we trust in him and hear what he really said

there’s no argument that “the Bible not is God.That's true of the cross also but many worship it. In the biblical Books of Kings (2 Kings 18:4; written c. 550 BC), the Nehushtan (Hebrew: נְחֻשְׁתָּן‎ Nəḥuštān [nəħuʃtaːn]) is the derogatory name given to the bronze serpent on a pole first described in the Book of Numbers which God told Moses to erect so that the Israelites who saw it would be protected from dying from the bites of the "fiery serpents", This also became an idol

So what is the order of Melchizedek?
the original and heavenly order of priests the true one that the leviticle was patterned after here’s just one passage that helps identify the difference

“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things,

as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8:1-2, 4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the old was a veiled shadow or blueprint for the real heavenly things of Christ and his order of priests so leviticle order has gone and the original has returned because sin has been remitted in Christ we no longer live under the law of sin and death governed by sinful priests we have a better word that calls us to glory rather her than shame

yes but your missing that the Bible explains all that stuff lol …. It’s a used and issued against people by wicked people for sure it’s also exploited and used by greedy men to exploit faith and gain wealth it’s man that’s at fault the Bible is always the same ever oresent and always true

there is absolutely no argument against biding in it’s written knowledge and believing , men exploit and mislead and condemn and trick and lie

what’s written will not change that’s why he caused it to be written and has preserved it ll through time he wasn’t men to know and believe what he has said will save them and it also tells the story of why we need saving

there’s no reason to brother to insist the Bible is in any way someone’s idol or in any way a disparagement in tbier walk with the lord it is as you said yourself the rod and staff that comforts and corrects us because as much as we think we’re full of wisdom there’s much more it continually raises its offering to the seeker like layers peeled away making things plain

it is what every church should preach from and believe in
