Paul wrote that when he is weak, then he is strong.

He explains it like this....

1.) when im in submission to the Grace of God, fully trusting in Christ to keep me saved and live His life through me, im walking in the power of God's Grace, by REAL FAITH.

2.) when i stop striving by willpower to attempt to be my own salvation, or to keep myself saved......then Jesus becomes strong in me because im not trying to live the life of a disciple in my own power that results in this...>"""Apart from me, you can do nothing""", ..Jesus said.

3.) "when i am weak" means, when i am submissive to real faith, instead of being involved in striving to be holy, by willpower
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jesus said...."apart from me, you can do nothing".

So, that is interesting, because once we are born again we are always "in Christ" and "One with God"......we are never apart from God, ever again.
So then...what does Jesus mean?
He means that if You are born again, you are existing in the wrong MIND as striving to live the holy life by willpower, instead of by resting in God's Grace which is were the power of Christ is found that empowers you to live it like this....>"Christ always gives me the Victory"
--------------------------------------------

Paul said...."its it not I who live, but Christ who lives in me"..
And, this meaning is 100 % related to Christ saying : "apart from me you can do nothing".

"Working out your salvation" : does not mean to try to keep it.
To "work out your salvation", is to understand that you HAVE IT< and you learn how to exit within what Salvation provides you. That is how you "work it out".

Saint, our discipleship is originally created by God, and its empowered by God, or its going to be a fail.
How you believe decides if God works through you, vs : "apart from me you can do nothing".
Why? Because everything that IS OUR SALVATION is caused by God, kept by God, and completed by God.
What is your part in Salvation? To receive it as "the gift of Salvation" and exist within the Kingdom of God according to being made righteous.

If you are feeling some Christianity "burn out".... then its because you are trying to live the Holy Life by willpower and by effort and by SELF, instead of resting in God's Grace, where the power to live Holy is found as a "gift".
Also, it can be that just as still water in a pool turns stagnant, ...... if you are in a denomination that is rigid and legalist and very orchestrated and dead spiritually, yet, puts on a good show, then you will eventually stagnate in this "religion". So, sometimes the cure is to find something real vs staying in the religious pretense that is literally denying you any spiritual growth.
Christians are like Jets. If you stop going forward, you begin to fall.

Listen...when you work at Christianity, then God rests.
When you rest in God's Grace, then God works through you.
See, from the moment of our new birth, until we are "changed" and receive our new body...all of our Spiritual Life is 'IN Christ", and not based on ourselves trying to do it.
Sure, we are to present our bodies a living sacrifice, and we are to work out our faith walk.....but that is all done correctly only by leaning more and more on God to provide us with His Grace to do it. = "when i am weak then i am STRONG".....And in this revelation we find God's Grace which gives us God's rest from our self effort that allows God to manifest HIS Holiness through you.
This is REAL FAITH and REAL DISCIPLESHIP.
= There is your holy lifestyle discovered and maintained.

Thank-you for taking your time to write this and reminding us of what is good, Please let me give you some advice, from reading many of your threads you seem to be at war and have not let go of bad ideology and doctrines you have become engaged in. In many threadS gone by you always seem to be lecturing somebodies point of view or somebodies ideology, This comes from what you believe to be true has been challenged in the past, and no matter what you say to prove your point of view, the opposing party to your view has not agreed, what happens then is one of two things, either you accept certain people will not agree with you, and you move on, or you never move on, and the disagreement become stuck, and it becomes an inflicted wound.

When it becomes an inflicted wound, the danger is that wound can become a hindrance to your walk, whereby all you ever think about is the need to prove you are right. You then can fall into a trap that I must prove this wrong, wrong and prove right, right, I'll tell you why this is not a good place to be, once you become inflicted this way. Because our adversary wants us to prove wrong, wrong and right, right, in an endless religious argument, our adversary loves a religious argument, To our adversary it doesn't matter whether what you argue about being right, our adversary is just happy he's got you into an argumentative state of mind, where no doubt despite how much good you speak his evil will still be mentioned over and over again

we are weak and unable to save ourselves so we need to submit, surrender, and put our trust in Jesus. Paul was wanting help and God didn't fix his problem and Paul realized that his weakness was a blessing because he needed to trust in Jesus more.

2Co 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
2Co 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Thank-you for taking your time to write this and reminding us of what is good, Please let me give you some advice, from reading many of your threads you seem to be at war and have not let go of bad ideology and doctrines you have become engaged in.
Let me give you some advice.
Save your advice.

Now let me show you this...
You mentioned me "being at war".
And you can bet your devout legalism im at war.

With what?
With the devil, and with people who teach against the Cross of Christ, their "works, and commandment keeping, and water baptism" in place of the Cross.
So, you can count on me to STAY at war with heretics who pretend to trust in Christ while at the same time all they talk about is CALVINISM, Water, WORKS, and commandment keeping.

How do spot these heretics?

Every one of them, will teach that you can lose your salvation, that THAT devil's lie, denies the Power of God, found in the blood of Jesus.

What you wrote isnt true.

You are not familiar with Paul's total theology, or you would know that Paul came to exist as this...."Christ ALWAYS gives me the VICTORY".

So, does that sound like what you just wrote?
No it does not.

Yep, your affliction has now become an agenda. Your affliction has become so bad that you forget people who worry they may lose their salvation are sinners to just like you. Your affliction is now all out war on anyone who may challenge your view point, losing your salvation has become the main focus of many of your threads.

Your affliction is so bad that you're resorting to being more right than anyone else, and you won't even spot you are inflicted. This sort of affliction that you have really can afflict wounds on everybody and this is how you have become.

You should remember Jesus was called a heretic to for speaking the truth on many beliefs. Jesus carried on to speak in love when people called him a heretic, Even when he was being crucified on the cross the last words Jesus said was forgive them father they do not know what they do. This also include being forgiven for heresy.

The reality on heresy is people will resort to killing people for heresy, The word heresy is a trigger for the devil to make you believe you should have someone killed or go to war with them or banish them, This was the fate of Jesus.

The Jews shouted heretic blasphemer to Jesus and shouted kill him, Yet Jesus said forgive them father they do not know what they do.

The reality is you your self are in that category as the Jews, it is very obvious to in many of your threads. its why i have ignored all your posts. you really have been to hard on many people in this forum, and you have become like a Jew holding a pile of stones

Oh well never mind, may the lord help you, but really you shouldnt be using your beliefs as a smoke screen to get people to engage with you just so you can prove your right and then belittle people. Youve done this over and over again.

My Thread's posted here, have one purpose.
This is to help the "sinning and confessing " Christian, = Stop doing that.
You should have listened to the teaching instead of becoming inspired by pride, to stay in the same situation.

See, you can't go to any forum, or any church, to find out how to stop sinning and confessing.
All you'll find there are people like you. LEGALISTS without a clue.

So.....when you met someone on this forum who can help you, you decided to close your ears and open your mouth and insult.
That's not the smart play, but its the one you chose for yourself.
That's on you, de-emerald.

Listen carefully... Ive helped thousands of Believers get out of their legalism and into this....>"Christ always gives me the Victory".

Thats a fact.

Yep and this post is another part of your hiden agenda rich with loaded bait and more belittlement to which i can see right through, ive come across this attitude so many times, and you have repeated this attitude over and over again, The only leagalism now going on in this thread at the moment is your own. And the only reason it is is being permitted here is because your using a good smoke screen to number 1 insult people and belittle people with your agenda.

Your false accusations are just as false as you are....

You post no quote, as there are none........So, you just insinuate, as this is the deed of the dishonest.
Do you see yourself darkly highlighted by your own behavior?
Its clear as a crystal and rings like a bell as your character.
Believe it.

Pauline theology is anti osas.
OSAS...... this idea, was originally created by a Cross denying heretic, who was led of the devil to teach that God's Grace is : "license to sin".
Many became this heretic's disciples.
So, you can see that the Devil would teach such a anti-Christ, doctrine., as the devil wants Christ off the Cross and you up on it trying to save yourself or keep yourself saved.
