I didn't judge you to be anything

I asked you a QUESTION

we must safeguard ourselves from making assumptions or to be condescending of others
you asked your question, then followed with "seems like we have a bunch of Catholic sin conscious people on this thread" ? (doesn't that seem like a judgement of myself and others you think are Catholics) then you called myself and others on here, confused and" very much wrong".?.. you are correct we must safe guard from making assumptions and being condescending.... I might be wrong, and open this to the thread but.....isn't the bible concentrated on not sinning as well as other requirements ?: GODblessusall

we don't really know that though

have you seen this?

Let another praise you, and not your own mouth—a stranger, and not your own lips. Proverbs 27:2
was not praising myself, I was asked a question, that is my answer, an answer only I can give.....you are right you can't know that, but truth and honesty is a foundation of Christianity, that we must build upon.

And if you doubt what I said in my post just before this reply to you, all you need do is re-read that one you were talking to.
The Bible is anathema to those who are lost. It's why they can't actually debate Christians.
I see I have affected you so much you can not even call me by name anymore.:LOL:

the Bible is concentrated on the gospel; salvation through Jesus and no other

yourself and several others are more sin conscience than grace conscience

but you are free to study sin as much as you want

1 John 2:3-6 “Whoever says ‘I know him’ but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected”

Revelation 20:12
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.

I guess it seems difficult to really know what is in another person's heart / mind though. people are complicated, or can be.... and also, the Bible speaks of levels of understanding.

what do the gospels, salvation, and Jesus teach us ?
that through them we can over come sin if there was no sin, why would we need saving ?
Jesus died to save us from sin
if you are saved by grace ?, what happens when you fall from grace?, are you still saved ?
how do you get the grace of GOD, if you don't think you need sin removed from your life, which the Bible and Jesus teaches us to do

if someone asked you how to explain what walking with Jesus has done to Hone's life, ......being a stranger to myself,.. what could you tell them ?
I was asked that question, my answer displeases you....., should I have said, I'm still an angry man, i drink, smoke and swear like a sailor, I abuse everyone I meet, but.... I believe I'm saved because I asked GOD for grace.. DOES this answer please you ?

this really seems to bother you. see, I'm not bothered because these questions should be settled

what are you trying to prove exactly? you have interpreted salvation as being saved from sin, but salvation is new life in Christ. we are becoming like Him if we are led by the Holy Spirit

why do you think you need to please me with your answer in some way?

did you ask God for grace or did you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and understand His completed work on your behalf?

if you are depending on God's grace without understanding your work can never save you, then you do not understand the gospel

maybe worry less about what I think and more about how what you believe applies to salvation

by the Law we understand sin, by following the Law we hold sin out of our lives, by keeping the parables of Christ we keep them out.
right here, is your error

do you believe Jesus fulfilled the law or not?

if not, do you think that is now something you can do?

parables? what parables is it you think you are keeping?

I genuinely believe the reasons for all that you rightly observe is because the truth of God, the Bible, and the Covenant, are anathema to such ones as that.

They come for you, for me, for others in Christ because they are enemies of the truth. The hounds of Hell travel in packs.

It would explain the limited rhetoric, the condemnation of God's will, word, law, covenant, using the disguise of false doctrine, so that it appears they're not purposefully intending to disrespect the faith but rather are just misled and can be put right with gentle correction.

But that's not true. I checked. This pack, some, have been on the anti-gospel track for years. The same rut. The same rediculous false rhetoric.
They clearly dislike you with a passion. They gang up in your threads and assail you over and over.

It's a test.
Remember Satan in the Desert? He tested Jesus during his fast, over and over. Just once he wanted Jesus to concede to Satans perspective and leading.

Truth doesn't concede to the lie.

They want to assail every thread you make, every thread any Christian makes, when seeking to discuss Apologetics, Soteriology, etc.... So to bring chaos and discord into the thread and discourage new members in particular from participating due to the conflict and hate filled atmosphere they purposefully conjure.

Imagine.
Imagine if we turned them off. Removed them from having any chance again of gaining our attention.

Oh, they'd still labor to deceive. They'd escalate their fallen behaviors because their tired false rhetoric was no longer getting our attention.
Then for those that still read them, would witness how dark they are.

Imagine Christian communication without the destraction of demons opposed to the light.

We can't counter their lies with truth. You know this has been tried for overlong and has failed to alter their behaviors. In fact continuing to try to reach them just encourages them to continue.

It's like thinking if we just pray hard enough one day Satan will repent, and ask to be Baptized.
Ain't happening, ever.

They gain pleasure thinking they're hurting our feelings. The truth from God in Christ is to recognize dedicated depravity and accept they aren't good people.

If you keep trying to reach them, they'll only feel encouraged to keep going because they think Christians holding faith are pathetic.
And when we're public about our faith, as in gathering in forums and discussing the Bible publicly, we invite attack, contempt, mockery, personal insults, upon ourselves.

And they like to see how low they can go and how long we'll remain responding with a Christ like demeanor.
Because as soon as we reply in language they understand they'll feel satisfied their tactics have worked, and we're deluding ourselves.
When we are very careful to check everything with scripture, and use only scripture to feed our souls, we can welcome these attacks against scripture, trying to change it by attacking us personally for they are afraid to attack the Lord. They don't even pretend it is about the word they attack but always use the word "you". All "you" humans see darkly, including them but they feel they are above being human so they set themselves up as some sort of god and feel safe in attacking this "you".

God is stronger than they are, God's word will prevail. We are only instruments to be used by the Lord. We must cling tightly to the word.

God doesn’t misrepresent my words; you do. God’s word doesn’t claim ‘Some people say’ without evidence; you do. Your unwillingness to own and correct your errors makes it difficult to discuss anything with you.

Again, you are into this "you". Have you ever looked at scripture?
