What did you guys think about the big win the Oregon State Beavers had over USC yesterday?? First win in 60 years ? Really exciting for those players.
Oregon is a strong team every year. Growing up in Michigan I am a Wolverines and Spartans fan. Oh yeah, a Detroit Lions fan too, pathetic as they are, always pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory.

If you guys don't mind, please say a prayer for me. I've been under a lot of stress lately and just a little while ago some idiot in a fancy car with racing stickers on it veered onto my side of the road and almost hit me. I had to slam on my brakes and all the stuff in my carry bag fell out onto the floor. I got so angry I turned around and caught up with him at a stop and I yelled at him for what he did. He just looked at me with no expression on his face like he really didn't care. I parked at a nearby shopping center to calm down. I'm ok now, but I really feel like God has been testing me lately. Please pray for me if you could. Thanks.
I will indeed say a prayer for you Zero.

I feel better now, but I feel like I should clarify what happened because it sounded like someone simply cut me off. Although that would have upset me, I wish it was just that.

I was coming around a blind bend on a 2-way street and this car was coming from the other side so I couldn't see it, and he was trying to take the turn like a race car driver would by hugging the corner, but the corner was on my side of the road. I had to slam on my brakes to avoid a head-on collision.

I feel much better today. I prayed a lot last night. Thank you so much for all of your prayers! I really needed them. ♥♥♥

I had that happen to me. Except the guy cut me off. I chased to him his house. As he got out of the car I said, "Hey you cut me off!" He said, "Oh, Don't be a crab." I started laughing because the way he said it. I drove actually happy. That was 36 years ago.
A couple years ago I went across a busy street on my bicycle an a truck was coming. I had plenty of time however He didn't think I did. When he went buy he yelled at me and said, "Your stupid." I replied, "I know." What I have used as guide is not to let no one define who I am by their actions. We are at war and we cant give an inch to the adversary. Praying for you.

Gods Blessings
Why didn't you call the guy a crab? That seemed to work better.

Still working on the studies for a leather journal cover...

I got new pieces cut out for a mini journal...for those little composition books...I have some new questions about how to do it.

I want the dye job to be right...this is so frustrating. The neatsfoot oil is great stuff but I need to see if it is going to interfere with any designs I put into the leather and I need to figure out how I'm going to get my Sister in Law's name on it...

I don't have a heated gold foil embosser or even a letter kit. (I can likely get a letter kit) doing one or two letters is one thing but a whole name is another. Then the oil and dying probably needs to be done later instead of before I put in her name. And a big question is can I do something different with her name and if I do will it hold up? I have acrylic paints...so it's a possibility even though I don't have the steadiest hand. But it might have a resist factor for the oil.

Then dye after the oil is supposed to be better for a smoother dye job...I prefer dipping or daubing a blend of oil and dye. (Alcohol based dye)

Lots of questions with no answers except for trying.

But I did see a really cool way to work with the oil based dyes where you float them on water and then dip the leather in...great tie-dye look...good marbling.
