the verse reads "the word was GOD, meaning the word is GOD then went on to was GOD because (it) the word...became Jesus...
so the word was/in/is GOD, then became Jesus, doesn't that mean that Jesus came out of GOD?
Jesus didn't "come out of God". Rather, Jesus is and always was God.

The confusion stems from the fact that we humans are distinct from each other, so we find it difficult to comprehend God being one, yet there being three who are God.

You have just confirmed what I have been saying all along.......
That Jesus was not with GOD in the beginning......he is GOD (a part of anyway) he is a spirit of GOD.....remember the Holy spirit came into Mary.......and Jesus admits there are things (mostly end of time/tribulation) only the father knows....
BUT thank you .....yes
GOD the father
GOD the son
GOD the holy spirit......again you have correctly pointed out they all are one. which strengthens my case that Jesus was not at creation, he was there as GOD (part of)....until the Holy Spirit visited Mary.
I AM not confused, I AM well aware how great and wonderful our father is, and I thank him continually for sending us himself/son to show us it can be done if we have full faith in him, and trust him completely to lead our lives.

I specifically refuted what you have been saying. You are indeed confused, and resistant to learning.

are these not your words. (above)
we both agree Jesus is GOD
but now he is Jesus, sitting next to GOD, separate from GOD, but he will forever be a part of GOD....isn't that right?
the moment he was conceived, he became his own entity. he says that GOD worked through him.
Which is what he wants to do with us, but so many are closed off, trapped by their own understanding so nothing/truth can get in.
remain open minded until the Lord shows you the truth, then you can close that segment of scripture, apply it to your life and move on to the next question you have for him....Isn't that what we do? .......isn't it better to ask him to lead you to him.? not man

Jesus is the second most important figure in the Bible, behind GOD then the Spirit.....suppose Lucifer should get a mention as well.
Jesus wasn't mentioned at creation but the spirit was...why was that?
simple logic....because GOD was there, ......and Jesus wasn't born, because Mary hadn't been born to give birth to him
when a man lays with a woman, he gives a piece of himself, the egg gets fertilised, and a son is born.
the same thing happened to Christ, but his father is GOD, so he got a lot more than we do, he is in essence GOD himself

Note a Gen 1:1 elohiym is plural thus has jesus the father and the holy spirit
אֱלֹהִים ʼĕlôhîym, el-o-heem'; plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:—angels, × exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), × (very) great, judges, × mighty.

none of this is important to me....I know who
GOD the father is
GOD the son is
GOD the Holy spirit is.
my focus is on them, what the Bible says, and how I can become like Christ.

Just because you read something and you understand it to mean something to you doesn't make it fact
all I have provided are the facts of the birth of Jesus.
GOD came in the flesh...the name of that flesh is JESUS
MARY gave birth to JESUS
The SPIRIT of GOD entered MARY, that Union gave birth/life to JESUS.............those are the facts......what am I missing.?
I was not saying you said anything wrong or correcting you but I was only saying it was a plan of God in the beginning.

You are correct and not missing anything.

Next time I will not quote someone but only post so I can avoid confusion and trouble.

My post had nothing to do with you saying anything wrong or correcting you.

I wasn't reprimanding you, I was just being blunt not directly at you....course a'lot of people won't accept those simple facts, like I AM trying to create a whole new story line......
People are so quick to post Bible verses as answers, but that doesn't show their understanding of what they are posting
my apologies if it felt personal....
I do agree with you that GOD knew what was going to happen, before anything happens, and what was required after creation.
the truth will unite us in Christ. GODbless

The "simple English" states that "the Word" was God in the beginning. The was indicates past tense; the beginning is past tense to John, and to us. It says nothing of "is no more". Further, John wrote all this after Jesus died and resurrected; his is an informed and anointed perspective on the subject.

If you continue through to verse 14, you will see that the Word is Jesus Himself, which means that Jesus is God. The "He" of verse 2 is the Word of verse 1, as is the "him" of verse 3, and the "he" of verses 10 and 11, the "him" and "he" of verse 12, and the Word of verse 14. If you can come to another conclusion, I'd like to hear it.
"
Was (ην). Three times in this sentence John uses this imperfect of ειμ to be which conveys no idea of origin for God or for the Logos, simply continuous existence. Quite a different verb (εγενετο, became) appears in verse John 1:14 for the beginning of the Incarnation of the Logos. See the distinction sharply drawn in John 8:58 "before Abraham came (γενεσθα) I am" (ειμ, timeless existence)."
