I don't think you are sitting in a place to tell us that only Christians you approve of are actually born again
Of course; because I am not the one who judges who is truly born again and who is not: Jesus is (Matthew 7:21-23).

well then stop calling Christians by different categories according to what meets your personal approval

as opposed to nominal Christians who are not born again
maybe you meant Christians and non-Christians because you cannot have a Christian who is not a Christian

My answer is not in defense of the below, just answering OP's question...

It depends on how you define “witch” – for most (conservative) Christians, ‘witch’, ‘Devil worshiper’ and ‘Satanist’ seem to be essentially synonymous. They are, of course not.

I cannot speak for the latter two, but knowing many people who practice earth-based religions, no one would purposely go out of their way to curse a Christian….or anyone else for that matter. The reason is that, the belief is any misfortune or evil one wishes (or to use that scary word, ‘cast’) upon someone else, will come back to the originator threefold. Hardly seems like something you’d want to do; you'd just be cursing yourself three times over.

In addition, it violates the first part of what is called the Rede – you’ve probably heard it…it starts ”An it harm none..”. Clearly if you’re cursing someone, you are harming them, or want to harm them. That would be a no-no.

I would dare venture a guess and also say that neither would a Satanist – the majority are atheist, and their brand of “Satanism” is an atheistic philosophy which is egotistical, hedonistic, pragmatic, and naturalistic; it's not at all theological. In short, I don't think they'd care much - they're atheists; to whom would they curse you?

Actually our life in this world is a matter of God vs. Satan. God is the supreme ruler and Christ is put in charge of the kingdom of Heaven. The kingdoms of the world are ruled by demons.

We are told that as the world ages then people will follow demons more and more. It is easy to see the work of demons in the world as they distort the ways Christ teaches, such as to preach tolerance of sin and call it not judging people. Or to fight enemies instead of loving them and call it right for our rights.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

The people who announce that they are witches are less dangerous because they don't try to disguise themselves but hold seances, or lift tables by laying on hands, or use demons to predict the future. In our town they hold classes saying they are teaching spirituality, meditation, or hypnotism.

There is a difference between one who is born again and the nominal believer.

Not everyone who says unto Jesus, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 7:21-23).

It is not my personal approval that matters; but whom the Lord approves.

You're either a believer and follower of Jesus or you're an unbeliever that just goes to a social gathering called" church"!

There is no halfway with God. Now you can be weak in the faith,a new babe on milk, pressing in to get closer to God but nominal is not applicable.

He said he had somewhat against the churches and they had better shape up or lose their candlestick.

Lukewarmness is going to be SPEWED OUT. Losing your first love means your drifting from the calling. Backslide means you're away from God!

You are either" in the way or you're not".period. I am not judging anyone's faith this is what the word tells us. Going to a church building means NOTHING !

A person can say to Jesus, Lord, Lord (and thus be identified as a Christian) and yet not be saved (see Matthew 7:21-23).

Nope, nope and nope!
God is never fooled and each is responsible for their own walk!

Words mean nothing and people are not easily fooled either!

There are many who say Lord, Lord to Jesus and think they are following Him, yet they have been hoodwinked by the world into following the world.

A Christian who is trying to follow all Christ teaches with faith in His teaching must be humble before the Lord and always open to learning from God as Christians pray daily for thief daily bread--or for their spiritual food to come daily.

Demons that are in the kingdoms of the world are foxy devils, and do such as telling us to accept sin as OK in the mane of not judging people, or making enemies instead of loving them in the name of standing up for rights.

Can witches curse christians?
What does Scripture say?

Num 23v23: "For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel...

Luke 10v19: " Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (triple negative in the Greek text here, and so would better read, "nothing shall, by any means, at all hurt you.")

1John 5v18: " We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him."

Rev 12v11: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony..."

1John 4v4: " You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."

In Job chapters 1 & 2, Satan complains to God that he can't even get near the livestock Job owns, never mind Job or his family, because of the hedge that God put around Job and all that he owned!

The protection around Christians is VERY real, and we can increase it by prayer and praise and worship.

So, can a witch put a curse on a Christian, well, they can try, but it will not be effective, and indeed the witch is in very danger from God, for He guards His children?

Psalm 121: " I will lift up my eyes to the hills — From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Also, look at Psalm 91....and MANY other Scriptures!
