I've noticed there are specific age group threads for teens and young adults, wondering if there's any interest in a specific thread for older Christians?

Having recently done some work at a Christian active adult retirement community, there are many issues I suspect seniors would appreciate the opinions of people their own age and all of us can benefit from lurking our elder's conversations.

This has already been requested multiple times over the years. I don't think Robo has any intention to add it.

question what age would one consider senior to post in such a forum? and also what about a young person but old in heart:b

Advertising in your very first post? That's a bit suspect.

I keep looking around to see if there is some sort of forum for Christian Seniors. I can't find anything like that.

I would love to be able to particularly interact with those that are closer to my own age group.

I hope this eventually happens.

It won't. It has been refused for over 10 years.

I wonder why. Are they scared of old folks?
He doesn't want too many subforums. Or too much segregation.
Subforums are only made based on what he thinks shows a need. He's determined there isn't a big enough draw of seniors perhaps? Or maybe feels they're more likely to stay in that one subforum and not branch out. Perhaps more likely to complain about people not seniors posting in it?
Who knows the exact reasons.

I'm beginning to think the owner of CC must be a lot younger than us seniors. All these concerns seem so patently unfair. And unnessary.

PS. If folks have been asking for a Seniors Subforum for 10 years, then it sounds like there are plenty of us who really want it.

Why dont you just start a new thread under the heading of miscellaneous or something and call it the Seniors thread. That's one way of getting something happening at least if that is something you are looking for.

He's been running this site for 20+ years. He's not that young. He simply has over 20 years of experience in running this site. We may not understand his choices always but we also don't have the experience of running a chat site, either.

I'm 79, and I see no need for such a thing.

Who knows? I might even run into someone else who has a middle aged spoiled brat. who came home to live after his wifh threw him out. Now my wife of 46 years and I are missing out on what should have been some of the best years of our lives. Anyone here who can top that? I think I'll go get a cup of coffee, I think I like it here.

wow intersting what oldies complain about on here lol
I kinda thought they either hated the young or just wanted to talk about their BM. (bowel movements)
Maybe there is a place for that.
