HI all, I just took a temp job and I don't like it at all--please pray God will provide something much better --something I can truly enjoy. Also my lease is up next month--please pray God will provide a nice one or two bedroom apt--maybe even a house! Also for strength to endure this job as I can't afford to quit. Thank you!

Thank you for those who prayed for me today. I bit the bullet and told the agency I changed my mind. I just got back from returning computer, chair, and badge--job was hybrid. I am SO relieved! Also I called a prayer line and the person was so encouraging! They said stuff happens--you decided it wasn't a good fit and told me not to beat myself up about it (which I was doing--I barely slept)--to move forward bravely and courageously, trusting God would provide. That simple advice did me a world of good! Please do pray God will provide something much better that would be a good fit for me--blessings to you for praying!
 
Prayers for you, Laura... not just that you find appropriate employment and a lovely place to call your new home, but that you may experience peace and assurance within the chaos of all these life changes you are going through, and are able to fully rest in Him.

Thank you Magenta--I am so appreciative of that! I can't see the way ahead--maybe I am looking in the wrong place?:confused:

I will pray for you on this as I also have a job I absolutely hate I am very depressed at my job and have found it very difficult to find any joy I applied to places and am eagerly hoping for a call

Thank you, Blain! I will pray for you as well--to spend most of our waking hours in a joyless job cannot be what God has for us--I pray as God showed the well to Hagar in the middle of the desert -- God will show us too!

Thank you, Runningman--I am grateful you took the time to respond--I'm feeling pretty discouraged today, but at the same time relief, that I decided to not continue--i really felt I couldn't go forward with it. I'm working on trusting God to provide something much better soon!

Praying already as God has laid you on my heart.

Ecclesiastes teaches us about the different times and seasons that can come into our lives. There is a time for you to get what you ask of God and there is a season for responding to the Spirit guiding you,Sister.

When these things are lined up with the will of the Father you will receive showers of blessings!

Patience is the hardest thing for humans to have but it is a slow down sign for us to wait ,God has something better for us!

May you be filled with peace in that you know he HAS A PLAN FOR YOU and it is HE THAT HAS ORDERED YOUR FOOTSTEPS!

My pleasure. I believe it is God's pleasure to bless His children. Sometimes we don't have simply for no other reason than we didn't ask and I mean literally ask. I've seen prayers answered differently when I've directly asked for something as compared to just passively saying "If it's Your will then may I get X thing."
