AMEN - Righteousness thru CHRIST and no one and nothing else.
Let the Word of God Sum IT up for us:
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

This sanctification means that we begin to live a holy life.
The law defines sin (1 John 3:4, Romans 3:20) and we are told in holy scripture to cease from sinning (1 Corinthians 15:34, Ephesians 4:26).
This is what it means to live a holy life...that we cease from sinning (that is, from transgressing the law).
We are not any longer bound to the letter of the law but are set free to be obedient to the spirit of what is written (Romans 7:6).
This is a righteousness apart from the law that is nevertheless attested to by the law and the prophets (Romans 3:21) that it is righteousness indeed.
And therefore, Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one who believes.
Because, we do not obtain this righteousness by attempting to obey a set of do's and don'ts...
Rather, we receive the Holy Spirit by faith (Galatians 3:14) and when we walk according to the Spirit, the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us (Romans 8:4).
See also Galatians 5:16-24.
My point being that the righteousness of Christ in the life of the believer is never impractical (1 John 3:17-18; 1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6).
