AMEN - Righteousness thru CHRIST and no one and nothing else.

Let the Word of God Sum IT up for us:
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

HALELLUJAH HALELLUJAH HALELLUJAH AMEN AMEN AMEN
Correct...for our righteousness is wrapped up in the blood of Jesus Christ being applied to our lives...which blood does not only justify (as per Romans 5:9)...it also sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) and cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7)

This sanctification means that we begin to live a holy life.

The law defines sin (1 John 3:4, Romans 3:20) and we are told in holy scripture to cease from sinning (1 Corinthians 15:34, Ephesians 4:26).

This is what it means to live a holy life...that we cease from sinning (that is, from transgressing the law).

We are not any longer bound to the letter of the law but are set free to be obedient to the spirit of what is written (Romans 7:6).

This is a righteousness apart from the law that is nevertheless attested to by the law and the prophets (Romans 3:21) that it is righteousness indeed.

And therefore, Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one who believes.

Because, we do not obtain this righteousness by attempting to obey a set of do's and don'ts...

Rather, we receive the Holy Spirit by faith (Galatians 3:14) and when we walk according to the Spirit, the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us (Romans 8:4).

See also Galatians 5:16-24.

My point being that the righteousness of Christ in the life of the believer is never impractical (1 John 3:17-18; 1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6).

I can see your point.

However, I believe that you are saying this without knowing the fulness of what is preached in the law of God.

Christians will have to go around like the orthodox Jews if what you are saying is true...wearing blue tassels on their garments and phylacteries on their foreheads and hands. They would be obligated to keep every Jewish festival and would be prohibited from eating pork and shellfish.
Mosaic Law was nailed to the Cross, so tassels and phylacteries and circumcision are gone...however, clean/unclean animal classification PREDATES Moses (as does the entire Ten Commandments) and is why Isaiah in Isaiah 66:15-17 KJV says at the Second Coming, those eating pork and shellfish who know better will be consumed along with idolators.
The Bible is clear on this matter that every creature of God is good and nothing to be refused;
I'm Amazoning you a case of pork brains in milk (yes, it's a thing) and you better not refuse them, OK? ;) Read on, please:
"...for it is sanctified by the word of the Lord and prayer. And that it is those who are deceived with doctrine of devils who command believers to abstain from meats; which have been created to be eaten with thanksgiving (1 Timothy 4:1-6).
What does "sanctify" mean? "To authorize purposeful use". Where in the Bible does God "sanctify" meat, or authorize it for our use? Leviticus 23, where it plainly differentitates between clean and unclean use of meat for food. The verse in Timothy is referring to religious leaders who tell others to not eat clean meat for subjective, unBiblical reasons and has nothing to do with eating unclean animals which Isaiah plainly says will land those who do it in the Lake of Fire.
The reality is that we can obey the food laws if we wish; and we may even be counted as greater in the kingdom if we do.
No, as I've said, Isaiah says those who violate the laws of clean/unclean will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
However, obeying the food laws (and the rest of the letter of the law) is not necessary for salvation.
Salvation is a free gift and the evidence we've accepted it is obedience, while refusal to obey is evidence that it is not yet recieved or that we have withdrawn our surrender to God's authority.
Those who disobey the least of the commandments in the OT are still counted as being in the kingdom of heaven; though they may be counted as least (Matthew 5:17-20).
Another way to interpret Matthew is that those in heaven will look down upon those who break/teach others to break God's commandments and refer to them as "the least" - and since the LAST chapter of the LAST book of the Bible plainly says only commandment keepers are getting in, I have Bible on my side while you have wishful thinking.
So, obeying the law, while it may indeed be possible to obey all of it, I think that one in this day would be going overboard to obey all of it (as they would have to wear blue tassels on their garments and phylacteries on their foreheads and hands; and would not be able to shave their beards; especially those pesky sideburns which would end up being curly extensions of the head). It would be to the point that you would be considered to be somewhat out of your mind if you did these things apart from having the religion of an orthodox Jew.
Keeping the Ten Commandments, which embodies abstinence from unclean meat as part of keeping "thou shalt not kill", is not Jewish - the Ten Commandments had been around for 2500 years before the first Jew was born.
Paul the apostle made it clear that we do not have to become as the Jewish people in order to obtain salvation. In the epistle of Paul to the Galatians, he made sure that Christianity was preserved as a religion all its own and would not become just another sect of Judaism.
Christianity incorporates plenty of teaching found in Judaism: Monotheism, substitutionary death of the innocent victim for the guilty, judgment, forgiveness, tithing, etc. It's not right to stigmatize that with which we disagree as "Jewish", as if nothing Jewish was ever incorporated into Christianity.
In Galatians 2:16, he made certain that we understood that a man is not justified through the deeds of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ.
Yes, we are justified by grace through faith, but judged by our works, because our works signify if we've been justified by grace though faith, according to 1 John 2:3-4 KJV.
It is Galatians 5:16-24 that remains as the law that Christians are to obey (see also Hebrews 7:12). It is not the letter of the Old Testament law that matters but the spirit of what was written (Romans 7:6). If we walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, the righteousness of the law will be fulfilled in us (Romans 8:4).
If we love God, we'll keep the first four and if we love our neighbor, the last six.

Can a man look to his neighbor's bedroom ceiling smiling at God and praising His name while simultaneously ejaculating in his neighbor's wife, or is he fully obligated to obey "thou shalt not commit adultery"?

Please read ALL Scripture on this subject of the Law - Gospel of John, Acts, Romans, Galatians and Revelation

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” 11But that no one is [d]justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.”
"Man can save himself by his own works" is the most grievous error Satan has ever foisted upon humanity, and therefore, it should not surprise anyone that the Bible addresses this error repeatedly throughout Scripture.

So, why do you antinomianists constantly take Scripture intended to condemn the idea of salvation by works and use them as a blanket condemnation of our God-given duty repeatedly enjoined to believers througout Scripture to obey His law to the fullest, not to be saved, but because we are saved?

I can think of only one reason, and we see it at every wedding: the anxious bridegroom so in love with his bride that he is willing to forsake all others for only her in contrast to his eligible batchelor friends in the pew to whom the idea of having to remain faithful to one woman alone makes them want to throw up. The church would be better off if people wouldn't join until they're ready to walk down the aisle with Jesus.

This is false doctrine. The New Testament tells us plainly that it is those who have been deceived by doctrines of devils who will command believers to abstain from meats; which have been created by God to be received with thanksgiving.

Personally, I do not eat shellfish or pork (except for the occasional bacon on my Chicken-Tater Melt at Jack-in-the-Box). I made a commitment to this because I wanted to tell the Lord that I love Him. But the fact that I do not always succeed at this commitment is not condemning for me..

I am not under the law (Romans 6:14) am dead to the law (Romans 7:4, Galatians 2:19) and am delivered from the law (Romans 7:6) as concerning condemnation.

See also Ephesians 2:15-16, Colossians 2:14, Hebrews 7:18-19, Galatians 3:25, Galatians 5:18.

Salvation is a free gift and the evidence we've accepted it is obedience, while refusal to obey is evidence that it is not yet recieved or that we have withdrawn our surrender to God's authority.
No one can keep the letter of the law (Galatians 6:13). In Paul's day, even those who were sticklers for the law couldn't keep it (Galatians 3:22, Galatians 6:13).

Gal 2:16, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

If we love God, we'll keep the first four and if we love our neighbor, the last six.

If the love of the Lord has been shed abroad in his heart, he simply will not commit adultery with his neighbor's wife.

However, when we have faith in Jesus, we have an unshakable identity that we are righteous...even when we blow it (Romans 4:5).

The exhortation from that point being, Go and live like your new identity (1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6).

Thank you for making my point! I've been telling you for a long time that the Just Man who has love for Jesus in his heart will keep the Ten Commandments, including "thou shalt not commit adultery", while the Presumptuous Man claims to love Jesus but refuses to obey that law -- and both evidence by their outward actions their inward conversion or lack thereof.

Your ceasely defense of the latter makes if very difficult for anyone to assume you are among the former, but it's not my place to judge character - that seat and gavel belongs to Jesus, according to 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV. However, when it comes to false doctrine, all sincere Christians are to consider themselves deputized.

Dear Friend - Please read again Isaiah 66

Whoever slaughters an ox is like one who slays a man;

whoever sacrifices a lamb is like one who breaks a dog’s neck;

whoever presents a grain offering is like one who offers pig’s blood;

whoever offers frankincense is like one who blesses an idol.

Now listen to the LORD: When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand:
Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding?
Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

"You have heard of the patience of Job and seen the end of the Lord..." What a shame the Lord's existence has come to an end, right?

Oh, wait...the word "end" doesn't mean "cease to exist"...it means "purpose". The purpose of the Law is to point us to Jesus. Seriously, did you miss that part when Jesus said He didn't come to destroy the law?

If the Law was to bring us to Christ - why attempt to stay with the Law and thus reject Christ.

You cannot serve two masters.

Whoever seeks to serve the law will be separated from Christ.

For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.

the best place is exodus , Leviticus Deuteronomy and numbers . To learn what the law is and then the New Testament teaches us how it is fulfilled in Christ

the ot establishes things “ it is written “ and the nt fulfills those things and offers better things

“But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8:6‬ ‭

Friend, you must make a choice: it's either Christ or sin, which is "the transgression of the law" according to 1 John 3:4 KJV. Choose ye this day.
to choose Christ you have to let Moses covenant go

“And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

….And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭24:4, 7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The law and the prophets were until John:

since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and have to believe the new covenant word of Jesus

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

….Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:22, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Moses word isn’t the judgement of God Jesus words will Be

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

not committing sin isn’t the way of
Righteousness , but actually doing good for others , to Others treating others with Godly love doing the right things for others. Bearing each other’s burdens

not sinning isn’t something someone who’s been set free from sins dominion is going to need .

we do need the instructions of life and freedom In Christs Gospel however the promises of everlasting life he made to
His followers , we need the covenant Gid made through Jesus life on earth not the one he made with a single Nation through Moses and angels

the one he made through Christ the son

If the Law was to bring us to Christ - why attempt to stay with the Law and thus reject Christ.
Everything the Bible says about Christ, it says about His law: "holy, just, good, eternal, etc...." James says we are to continue looking into "the perfect Law of Liberty" which is the Ten Commandments, so I would go back and study at how you concluded as truth this false dichotomy between Christ and His law.
For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.
Jesus explicitly says works earns us absolutely nothing in Luke 17:7-10 KJV -- we're saved by grace through faith but judged by our works, because good works are the evidence we've been saved by grace while those who fight against that "which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" will go to hell, no matter how much they wave their hands in church.
