That is completely false. They follow Ellen G. White no matter how wrong she was.
Even though I am not an SDA I have attended many Sabbath services and have not found this to be true at all. Based on my own personal observation I would say that they follow the Holy Bible. How many SDA services have you attended to base your claim on or do you rely on what others have said to form your opinion?

None. I am simply going by their Statement of Faith. Have you checked it out?

Where do you draw the line between no one saved versus some? All sects, denominations or churches disagree on doctrine. So which doctrines must these churches twist to be in the no salvation area?
Yes, absolute Total Confusion about:

The Deity Of God, The SON, JESUS CHRIST, The SAVIOUR
+
The Gospel Of The GRACE of God, Through faith, in HIS

Precious ALL-Sufficient BLOOD, And Resurrection! {nothing ADDED!}

= God's ETERNAL Salvation! Amen.

No I haven't but have heard verbally that the SDA believes that there is the Father, Son, Holy Spirit - three separate entities comprising one God. They believe that Jesus, who was fully human and fully divine and without sin, died for our confessed sins, and that the Holy Spirit comforts and guides in the life-long repentance process.

They have various practices in regards to dietary concerns, that while not sinful if not complied with it is strongly recommended that it is followed - this I do not agree with. Also, believe their perceptions about end-time events to be without merit.

They do believe in salvation only through the shed blood of Jesus and this I do believe in. Also, I believe, as they believe, in the Holy Trinity. Anything beyond that is non-essential for salvation.

There is good and bad in all major religions, and off shoots from all religions.

If you are looking for reasons to believe that SDA's are wrong you will find it, Google has dirt on every belief for every religion out there.

Why don't you ASK a SDA the question you are wanting to know?

I know they believe in the bible and righteousness by faith.
i also know that EG White said that if the bible is not able to prove something then her writtings should not take the bibles place.

Jas 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Prov 16:28 A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.

Let the bible judge if a doctrine is right or wrong.

They have 28 fundamental beliefs.
Use the bible to prove what is wrong.
If something is wrong then it must be corrected.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Jesus is our rest and I'm fully persuaded about Him, because it is Him who resides in the believer and not a day or a temple made with men's hands.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

I noticed Hebrews 4:1-11 was posted, and that was after I had just read the previous post before it with a great big(y) woohoo , Thank you Jesus !, for it. I will say it is exactly what it is talking about, entering into His rest, and no one can do it without Him.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

it's at hand even now, have you entered in? all have been given the Way, sealed even by faith in the operation of God!

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

I'm fine with that (14:5), as well as this:

Philippians 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

It's all about Jesus !!!

The whole Constantine change is more of a myth than fact.

The Bible has accurately recorded the change in Acts 20:7 even though the change does not matter. Everyday is the Sabbath as the Spirit lives in us.
I can find only one verse that says the believers had gathered on the first day--but Paul was noting a time of their meeting NOT that it was their regular time of meeting---Paul taught regularly on the Sabbath both Jews and Gentiles in the synogue and there are quite a number of verses in the Book of Acts stating this fact. The habit of large assembly was on the Sabbath at the synogue and they also met regularly throughout the week--in any case the Sabbath is not and never will be Sunday. God rested on the seventh day--the seventh day is Saturday, not Sunday.

And it is not a myth that Constantine changed the day of rest, that is the Sabbath to Sunday.

It should come as no surprise that Satan has had no trouble in finding those he can deceive into posting false information about the Sabbath and hence attack any facts that prove there has been foul play with the fourth Commandment. So in an attempt to cover up the truth on the part Constantine played that resulted in the final change to the Sabbath, the proponents' whole argument is typically that Emperor Constantine did not change the Sabbath and only instituted the first Sunday law. That much in fact is true, but there is a lot more to the story which they very conveniently fail to mention like why and the major role Constantine did play in the change of the Sabbath to Sunday.

Four hundred years after the death of Christ and one hundred years after Constantine's linking of Church and State by his Sunday law edict, Rome and Alexandria were the only places in the world where many of the Christians kept only Sunday and not the true Sabbath. Why was it that Rome and Alexandria were also the first locations that Sunday worship began? Because this is where the pagan practices of Babylon eventually landed after it was conquered. And what was the dominant pagan practice that the Babylonian priests brought with them? Sun worship which was done on Sun-day! See the history of Sunday worship for more detail.

So one can understand why Rome and Alexandria did not bother to keep the true Sabbath as they had not done so for 200 years. Throughout the entire history of the changeover from Sabbath to Sunday, Rome and Alexandria had worked together. Alexandria provided the philosophical reasons for the changes and Rome provided the decrees and anathemas. Constantine's help was given only to the worldly Church leaders at Rome and those Christians that resisted the errors that were being introduced into the Church met with his opposition. “Unite with the bishop of Rome or be destroyed,” was Constantine's position.

True Jesus is our rest but prove from the bible that we no longer need to on the sabbath as God has asked us to.

Heb 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Heb 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Heb 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Heb 4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
Heb 4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
Heb 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
Heb 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
Heb 4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

You can say this is just talking about finding rest in Jesus but there is too many references to the sabbath day and the rest that God had at creation to ignore.
This rest that Hebrews speaks of is spiritual.

I look at Mormans, Mohamedans, Jehovah's Witnesses, and I see no one saved.
I look at 7th Day Adventists and I see some born again Christians.
One can look at "ANY" denomination and find false teachings.
SDA can be born again, just as Southern Baptists can be heavens.
I agree what denominations won’t matter this will

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”

There are many websites I could counter your claim but that is pointless because it does not matter. The only thing that matters is what the Bible says.

There is no longer a specific holy day. With the Spirit now living in us, we are the temple. The Sabbath rest is already here everyday for those in Christ.

Please support your position with a verse that states this. I do not take what people say because they say so. Please support your position with CLEAR STRAIGHT FORWARD verses. The seventh day is one of the 10 commandments--tell me why do we keep the other 9, but leave one out?

Yes, spiritual. Except we can claim that rest due to God's promise, faithfulness, and our sealing of the Spirit.

The SDA church is a cult and it gives the same credence to Ellen White's teachings as it does to the Bible and Scripture. For those of you not familiar with Ellen White, she was originally a member of the Millerite movement who numerously and erroneously predicted the end of the world. When the cultist Millerite movement collapsed, White picked up the banner and co founded the SDA Church. The SDA Church regards White as a prophet, even though almost all of White's prophesies proved to be false. Ellen White's teachings are anti biblical and her prophecies turned out to be false. A real prophet of God does not give false teaching or prophesies: Ellen G. White–False Prophetess – Truediscipleship

We don't consider it legalism to keep the rest of the 9 commandments--if you see my other posts--I only began studying the Sabbath recently--I was reading over the Commandments and wondered why we believe we must keep all of them--except honoring the Sabbath.

"“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day.
Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."
