Well as for me "I" don't believe in pushing my beliefs on people, especially in public. You have to respect that everyone dont have the same beliefs. Now if your one of those people that praises God any and every where than so be it. Its nothing wrong with praising God, especially if you're a true believer.
Hopefully it catches on![]()
I agree, that's why I say it's nothing wrong with praising God especially if you're a "true" believer. Did you see that part or did you just want to jump to wrongful conclusions? I basically said what you said in a nut shell.I think we should not worry about who we will offend with our public confession of God. Others could be encouraged by their courage and want to join them. They look confident and happy singing praises to God and that's attractive. Who doesn't want to be a part of a tight community of happy and confident people? That's an effective witnessing tool even if it steps on peoples' toes who think beliefs are being pushed on them.
The reality is that diametrically opposed worldviews don't invalidate each other. People should not feel afraid to live out their faith openly, publicly, and loudly.

It is most assuredly wrong to attempt to rescue someone from a burning building or warn them that the path that they are walking down drops off quickly into a fiery pit of lava.Well as for me "I" don't believe in pushing my beliefs on people, especially in public. To me that wasn't very appropriate. Its a place and time for everything. To be honest, if I'm going to have a nice dinner out, I don't expect to hear a gospel choir, but to each its own. They sound good, I just don't think it was the appropriate venue for that type of action. God Bless
Remember dear, I'm entitled to my own views. God blessSad, truly sad............
There is no such thing as an "appropriate venue" FOR PRAISING GOD!
the Apostles praised God when they were in prison and even when they were being killed...........
But, I understand. I mean, gosh, golly wow, gee wiz, doing something like that would make folks believe I wuz a Christian and a disciple of Jesus the Christ.
It is a dangerous road you are traveling..............
I think if the restaurant owners dont mind then its ok to say grace and eat the food with thanksgiving to the Lord and if you want to sing thats fine.
Remember dear, I'm entitled to my own views. God blessIts perfectly fine that you don't agree with me. Its okay to agree to disagree.
When has seeking out positivity became a dangerous road?Never tried to keep you from posting your views. Post away. But it remains a dangerous road you travel when you believe it is good to "quench the spirit."
1 Thessalonians, Chapter 5:
17Pray without ceasing.
18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19Quench not the Spirit.
